Babysitting in the Devildom

Chapter Six: Beel- Dinner Indifference

"Beel n-"

Solomon had to cast a teleportation spell before he could even finish his sentence. Beel's wings fluttered furiously as he burst through a portal and into Solomons arms instead. He immediatly clamped down on Solomons shoulder and started to chew. Solomon sighed as he watched his cloak get drooled on, big violet eyes watching him back as more of the cloth disappeared into his mouth.

Solomon paused. Should he take Beel to you? You seemed to know what you were doing but you also already had Asmo and portioning out food for the rest of the kids...Beel would be in the presence of food either way. He glanced back down and the chipmunk-cheeked Beel and considered trying to take the cloak out of his mouth.  Buuuuut if Beel cried again it was his fault, again...but he really shouldnt be eating fabric...not that it would ruin his appetite but-

He was running out of time to make a decision as the delivery person made their way back to the door. Beel seemed content eating his cloak for now. Beel would be fine, right? Yeah- its Beel. Solomon tightened his grip just slightly on the baby as he approached the front door again, ready to take the bags.

He should have taken Beel to you.

It was like fighting Taz from Looney Toons as Solomon stumbled about, half eaten cloak and a blur of movement around him as he used small portals to keep the bag of food away from Beel.

Barbatos had walked into the kitchen with Luke, wondering if he could help somehow. You had taken Luke from him and used one hand while also sometimes directing him on how to help you while Asmo followed behind him to make sure each plate "looked pretty". Everything was going really well....until the other bag of food appeared suddenly in your free hand and you heard a demonic screech come from the hallway and a loud buzzing noise which was curiously silenced soon after, though Asmo had given you wide berth after hearing that. You sighed and asked Barb to continue portioning things and to go tell the rest of the kids that if they had to go to the bathroom, the time was now. You held Luke close to you as you ventured just outside the kitchen doors and nearly bumped into Solomon.

".....I can expl-"

"Why is Beel eating your clothes?"

You didnt really want to laugh for fear of waking Luke up, but a wide silly smile bloomed on your face as you watched Beel use both his tiny fists to stuff more of Solomons cloak into his mouth, wide eyes staring at you as he cooed a bit and continued to stuff his face, Solomons cloak almost gone.

Solomon had a combination of exasperation and amusement on his face. "Uh...well I didnt want him to cry or attack the food- o-or you so I.....I fed him my cloak."

"....wHY? Earlier you were summoning food for him- you could have done that again right- or multiplied the food we already have even if he ate the bags worth of food-"

You were still smiling, the whole situation a little ridiculous as Beel finished Solomons cloak and started to sniffle, pouting and making grabby hands to the air for more.

Solomon paused before a goofy smile spread across his face as he summoned a popsicle to give to Beel. "I. Dont. Know." He laughed a bit before smiling fondly at you. "This is why you're the one in charge." He started to walk past you into the kitchen, but not before a quick kiss was planted on your temple and a small smirk at your expression was given to you. You gave yourself a moment before joining him and Barb, and a slightly startled looking Asmo.

".....can I have a posicle before dinner too?"

Asmo looked up at Solomon, pleading who just shrugged. "Thats not up to me." He looked at you and smirked a bit. *Motherfucker*

Asmo gasped and skipped his way to you, big, pleading amber eyes as he batted his eyelashes. "May I have a posicle before dinner too please? Pretty please with a cherry on top?"

It was too much. From the way he asked politely, to the way he said popsicle, to his little pose and big ole eyes-

You looked around the table of happy faces as all the kids destroyed popsicles that Solomon had summoned for them, all save for Beel, Barb, Diavolo, and Lucifer untouched food in front of them.

"POPSICLES FOR DINNNNNERRRRR!"

"They said we still have to eat our food if we want to have dessert tomorrow."

"But I'm not hungry anymore..."

"....I guess I can try to eat some food but Im full from the popsicle..."

"LOOKIT IM PUTTING MY FRIES IN MY ICE CREAM!  But I aint havin the green stuff, thats yucky."

"You're yucky Mammon."

"HEY-"

"My father would NEVER let me do this!! Thank you MC!!!!"

A chorus of thank yous came from all of the kids, luckily before another fight. You sighed softly and forced a small smile as you said "youre welcome". You figured they wouldnt eat their food if they had popsicles. The bigger kids had eaten their food, and Beel had no problem eating his portion and Belphies who....oh. Belphie was sleeping in his mashed potatoes. You glanced around the table again, noting all the sticky faces and hands and...bodies in Satan and Luke's case. Solomon looked exhausted as he summoned another piece of food for Beel. Asmo was trying so hard to eat some more of his food but only ate a few more bites and looked a little upset. Mammon had eaten his fries, at least.

".....if youre full, give your food to Beel. Dont make yourself eat anymore, its ok. I just need to talk to Sol for a minute, ok?" You smiled as you walked to take Belphie out of his highchair and gestured to Solomon to put Beel in. He was a little confused but did so as you wiped some of the potatoes off Belphies face.

Levi spoke up very quietly. "Can we still have dessert tomorrow if we didnt finish our food for dinner?" The sound of plates being pushed towards Beel paused as the kids all looked at you, waiting for an answer.

".....it depends on how well you eat your breakfast tomorrow.." you smiled as the kids thanked you again as you asked Barb and Lucifer to make sure Beel didnt eat the actual plates as you took Solomon and Belphie into the kitchen.

"How are you feeling...you look exhausted.." geniune concern on your face once you had Solomon basically alone. His face twisted slightly and he sighed. "I had hoped the rejuevenating spell I casted would re-energize me more than it did...why? Are you worried?~" he smirked slightly, though it fell just short of smug. You rolled your eyes a bit and ruffled is hair, your turn to smirk as his face turned light pink and started to protest, pouting when you stopped, though you werent sure if it was because you stopped or because you ruffled his hair in the first place. You stopped his protesting by asking your next question, also avoiding answering his question. "Do you have enough energy to clean all of them or am I going to bathe them in an actual bath..."

"....I? It should be we..."

"Well if you're tired you should rest...I'll need your help tomorrow too..."

"I can sleep after the baths..."

"But if we're doing the baths then I need you to cast one last spell to keep the water in the tubs..."

"So I'll sleep after that spell...maybe..."

You gave him a withering look before sighing, though appreciative of his stubborness....for once. You smiled a bit.

"Alright then. Bath time. Especially for the babies. The bigger ones can probably just shower.... Belphie, Luke and Satan need baths the most. Beel made sure his food ended up *in* his mouth....the others..." you chuckled as you peeked back into the dining room, seeing only Barbatos' face clean, and Lucifer and Asmo both fussing over the little mess they had on themselves, Lucifer using Asmos mirror, and Asmo following Lucifers every action to get clean. You brought your attention back to the sleeping Belphie in your arms.

"....do you think he'll stay asleep for bath time?"

"Its Belphie. He could sleep through anything."

"Dont jinx it." You sighed softly and looked out at the kids again, some playing tag, others just watching. Satan continued to mash his food onto the platter in front of him, Luke giggling and copying in glee. Solomon tapped your shoulder to get your attention again.

"Are you ok? The bags under ypur eyes could hold all my potions-"

"Shut up- maybe if a certain sorceror had been more careful I wouldnt be as tired....not to mention the popsicle before dinner was a bad mov-" you were interrupted by Barb lightly tapping your arm.

"Sorry to interrupt, but I was just wondering if you want me to wash the dishes or just leave them in water in the sink....or if you have a dishwasher..." you were a little surprised when you turned and saw him carrying all the dishes from the table, and Lucifer behind him with garbage. Simeon was wiping down the table with a cloth, but gave the younger ones in high chairs some room. Diavolo was trying to talk to Lucifer, who just kinda kept nodding and saying "oh thats cool" before looking at you almost desperately. His look brought you back to your senses as you nodded at Barb.

"Just in the sink with water is fine, thank you Barbatos. Thank you for cleaning up Lucifer, Simeon. It makes a huge difference to me."

Barb and Simeon beamed, and Lucifer managed a small smile before shooting Diavolo a dirty look, but the other boy didnt notice, too busy rambling on about how this was so much better than home for the upteenth time. Ypu ruffled Lucifers hair as he walked by, and noted Diavolo's slight stumble in words as he eyed you a bit, but rushed past to go talk to Barb, glancing back at you, almost pleading, though your attention was divided again as you felt Levi hug you and snuggle into your side wordlessly. You patted his head softly and turned back to Solomon.

"I'll answer that question later. For now lets clean up. Then bath time."

Levi squeezed you a bit and beamed. "I love bath time!! I can do it myself! I promise, I can! I can!"

Though Levi couldnt see it, Mammon was mocking him from behind. You gave him a bit of a "look" before the hem of your shirt was being tugged at and you were met with those same amber eyes that had persuaded you into giving everyone treats for dinner. "I love bath time too! Me too! But you have to watch me. I make great bubble hair dos! A-and guess what? In the water, it might look like I have legs, but really Im a mermaid!"

"And Im a sea dragon!!" Levi cried out, still wanting your attention. "And Asmo, you're not really a mermaid-"

"Am too!"

"Are no-"

"Everyone can be who or whatever they want to be, in the water or otherwise. Fooooor example, I'm actually a sheep, see I go baaaaa" you smiled softly, and winked at Levi before turning to Asmo again who was practically dancing at your side, bursting to ask you a question. "Whats the prettiest animal you like mc?!!!"

"....whats your favourite sea animal mc?"

"Whats the coolest animal mc! No wait- whats your favourite animal?!"

"Yeah, whats your favourite animal?!"

"Oi, I asked em first!"

"Guys its ok, you can all be my or your favourite animal. Theres more than one of each." You chuckled, listing off animals as more questions were asked, meowing at Satan as you handed Belphie to Sol and took him out of his chair, who happily meowed back as you lead your noisy little zoo to the communal bathroom.

A city thorn apart by the destruction of war.

in the very corner of the slums laying in the very back of said city,

that is where I lived at that time.

About my life before that,

I could not remember a single thing.

At some point, I found myself laying on the ground,

of this filthy back-alley. Why was I here? 

Where did I come from?

I did not even know who I was. 

That’s the kind of situation I found myself in.

ーー Yo, what’s up?

A young boy called out for my puzzled self,

greeting with a tone,

as if we had been long-time pals.

That was Lucks.

ーー Got nowhere to go? 

Come with me then.

The moment he spoke those words without asking about what happened,

without a single hint of hesitation. 

I was at a loss for words, 

deeply moved by this boy.

I felt indebted, as well as respect for him,

But the most accurate way to describe it, would probably be admiration.

And that is how,

I decided to live alongside this person,

who was the leader of a gang.

(3) They describe his hairstyle as トサカ頭 or ‘tosaka atama’ with ‘tosaka’ referring to a cockscomb.

Chapter 3: Meetings and Breakdowns

Maria was sweating, not from her run, not from the meeting with the most dazzling person she had ever met. No, she was sweating because she was speeding trying to not be any more late them she already was with her meeting with the fucking CEO of her job. She pulled into a space in the underground parking lot before she threw on her heels and booked it to the elevator leading to the lobby. She could feel her calves complain while her tits were basically bouncing out of her bra. In her rush to get dressed and get out the door she didn't think to even put on tights or a good bra. The drive over had been a mess, she never understood while she bothered driving when she had to go into the city, there was always traffic. If there was something you could count on when it came to New York was traffic and tourists. She had managed to not rear end multiple people on the way into work but that did nothing to help her anxiety, adding the fact she was running late to this meeting and she was almost t-boned at an intersection she was panicking.

She could feel the anxiety build up in her veins and makes her blood run cold despite the fact she could run a hand down the back of her neck and come up with a bucket of sweat. Shifting her weight from foot to foot, tapping her nails on the screen of her phone, she checked the time and winced when she saw it was already half past 7. When the doors to the elevator finally dinged open she bit her lip and huddled in the back corner, there was only one other person she recognized in the elevator out of the 4 people already packed in. She couldn’t place a name to his face but his drab attire screamed ‘accounting’ to her. She let out the breath she didn’t realize she was holding and started to tackle the mess that was her hair.

She was still sweating and nervous and she could tell the other passengers in the car were getting tired of her tapping her toes. So busy freaking out about being late she didn’t notice when someone slid next to her and started picking at her hair with her; taking out the knots she couldn’t reach. She froze, someone was in her space, the elevator was filling up and if another intern thought they could feel her up because she was “new and fat” she was going to have a breakdown. She turned to face the intruder and let out a breath when she saw one of her friends. Arianna was working on getting the knots out of Maria’s hair, worrying her lip between her teeth before meeting Maria’s gaze and smiling.

“How’s it going dollface?” Arianna asked while she was rummaging through her bag to find her hair brush. Maria let out an audible breath before replying.

“Could be better, aren’t we like 30 minutes late to this meeting? As region manager you should be freaking the fuck out?”

“Maria, didn’t you get the email update? It was pushed back to 8 am. I told you to check your work email more often.” Arianna chided her, tugging playfully on Maria’s hair. Maria stuck her tongue out at her and moved onto working on her lipstick while her hair was being dealt with. Arianna fussed with her hair before giving up and dropping it back on her shoulders, she was the sole reason Maria has this job. Arianna was the one who vouched for her during the whole interview process, if it wasn’t for her she probably be washing dishes in a bar. While that isn’t a bad job it isn’t enough to keep up on her car payments.

“That’s good I guess. At least I can get something to eat and coffee before the meeting.” Maria unlocked her phone to a barrage of messages from her various group chats. She could feel her anxiety come back tenfold, usually her groups were quiet this early in the day. If everyone was up and making a ruckus someone was usually hurt, or in trouble. She furrowed her brow while she followed behind Arianna, letting her lead her to the line of the little cafe in the building. Opening her roommate chat she scrolled through the 100 plus messages she managed to miss in the short elevator trip up about 60 floors from the garage.

She started from the top, Tubbs, her cat got out again and hasn’t been home since Maria left for work. She cursed herself for leaving the front door unlocked in her rush to be on time. Tubbs was easily 20 pounds and had a knack for opening doors. She shuffled forward with the line,Bradley, her roommates dog would probably find Tubbs skulking around the property before her shift was done, so she wasn’t too worried. Her other roommate Libbie, who was woken up by the incessant ringing of the doorbell approximately 30 minutes ago had been messaging the chat since.

Libbie: I swear to FUCK Mari if you dont fucking ANSWER THESE I AM GOING TO KILL YOU MYSELF

Cooper: LOLOLOL calm down Libs, she was late to work

Mari: I have no fucking clue what yall are talking about.

Maria was brought back into the world by running into the order counter. She smiled when she saw her favorite barista working behind the counter. She rambled off her order before digging around her purse for her card. She was stopped when Mike, the barista stopped her.

“Don’t worry Mar, it’s on the house, you look like you need it.” Maria gaped like a fish and threw a $5.00 in the tip jar before walking away. Finding Arianna sitting on one of the plush couches she settled in next to her, turning her attention back to her phone. She was barraged by pictures of one of the most breathtaking flower arrangements she had ever seen. Delphiniums, peachy roses, purple hydrangeas, and dainty white bell flowers were all arranged in a huge black speckled vase. From the pictures it looked huge. At least a foot tall and she had no idea how big the round arrangement actually was.

Libbie: look, the guy said these were for you and and these are so fucking expensive. I’m pretty sure this fucking thing weighs 60 pounds. All the delivery guy, who woke me up btw, said it that it was addressed to you and needed to be delivered ASAP.

Mari: okay>>??? It could be like a stalker or something! Maybe it's my mom!

Cooper: We all know your mom is too fucking broke to order this many flowers for you. Maybe it’s your secret sugar daddy??

Mari: Okay Ouch,,,, ur right BUT still. I am not hiding a sugar DADDY from y'all. You think I would still be wearing walmart sports bras if i did have one???

Maria put her phone and silent before she got up and followed Arianna to the meeting room. It was in the executive offices, she they had another elevator ride up approximately 15 floors. Maria nestled herself in the back of the elevator and nursed her coffee.

“Rough morning?” Arianna ghosted her fingers under her own eyes, Maria gently touched her face, wincing when she could feel the bags under them. Maria shrugged, a noncommittal gesture she knew drove Arianna crazy.

“Yeah, my roommate is fucking the twink again and they woke me up at 4 am. I wasn’t able to get back to sleep so I went on a run, then I found this puppy on the trail at the swamp. Then I took her home and the owner was like, so fucking pretty.” Maria took a sip of her coffee before continuing, lowering her voice and the elevator filled with more people heading to the meeting filtered in. “Then Tubbs runs away because I was so fucking blindsided by how beautiful the guy was and I thought I was going to be late for this fucking meeting and apparently a huge fucking bouquet of flowers showed up for me like half an hour ago?” Maria pulled out her phone and unlocked it, shoving the group chat at Arianna. The other woman let out a gasp before she took the phone and scrolled through the chat history.

“Who do you think it was?? I don’t know anyone in the company, or you never told me about anyone you were seeing with the initials ‘J.W.’ and how hot was the guy with the dog?” Arianna handed the phone back before taking a sip of her own coffee. “Because like, your taste in men is trash, ladies you do a good job, but you would fuck a skeleton if it called you pretty.” Stepping out of the elevator, Maria slid it back into her purse before downing the last of her coffee and tossing the cup into the recycle bin by the meeting room door.

“I seriously have no fucking clue about the flowers, and he is like hot, like.” Maria tapped her finger to her chin, “like Adam Driver! But like, classically pretty. Like the kinda pretty you would find in an old painting from like the 1800’s or something.” Maria smiled and stuck her tongue out at Arianna’s shocked face before walking into the office and settling in her designated chair, which was thankfully next to Arianna’s.

“You are the only person who would think a painting from the 1800’s is pretty. Let alone Adam Driver. Him and his goofy fucking ears. So unless you can get a picture I am going to assume he is gross as all the other guys you've crushed on.” Arianna swiveled to look at Maria who was rolling her eyes. It was approaching 8 am. The room fell silent as the doors to the meeting room slammed open, the CEO walked in followed by the rest of the executive team. Arianna snapped her mouth shut before swiveling back to face the front of the meeting room.

"You're coming with me today." You turned around to see Chisaki staring blankly at you, hands on his pockets while his bag was hanging around one of his shoulder.

"Huh?"

"Dont play dumb. You heard me." He muttered while already turning his back to you, making you to gather your school supplies the most fast you could before picking up his pace.

"Chisaki I can't!" You exclaimed while he arched a eyebrow with a irritated look "I didn't warned my parents! I can't just dissapear and leave like that!"

He only scoffed and continued walking, muttering you to follow him out of the school at least.

Well... let's just say that your parents had a serious discussion with Kai because he insisted on taking you to that place THAT HE WOULDN'T TELL.

And surprisingly your parents agreed. Somehow.

"H-ho-?"

"Stop gagging like that before a mosquito enters your mouth idiot. Is disgusting." He muttered before making you follow him and a much bigger man.

You were quite a bit nervous and got close to the boy to ask who even was that guy.

His eyes were in you for a moment before he spoke nonchantly, returning his gaze to the front.

"He is one of my... subbordinates. He is taking us to where I... command."

"Subbordinates...?"

"For crying out loud you can't be that dumb..." he sighed before showing with his palm from behind the man's back "He is one of the man that works for me."

"For you?" You said in astonishment while he smirked a bit while closing his eyes with a arrogant nod.

"You will see. There's much to show." He muttered back while you followed him.

"Woah!" You gasped at seing the house the moment you two got inside the walls.

While you were fascinated with the beautiful place, Chisaki quickly told the guy thhat had lead you two to get out before he could... dismask him. The man only arched a eyebrow at the brat his boss brought before just shrugging it, and following the boy's command before he got a problem with the boss himself later.

"This place is so huge and beautiful Chisaki-kun!" You said in glee while he got in your side, pulling his hand out of his pocket to show at the building.

"There's much to see yet, dont fuss over only at the front yard." He took a few steps before he looked back at you, arching his eyebrow before hearing you yelping and following him right after getting the hint.

He opened the door and quickly shut it, looking at both sides before regaining his compusture and waking only mere inches away from you as he showed you the house, stomach burbling with, what at least pops told him it was, butterflies at sieng you smile at his explanations at every little detail of the house.

"This painting is about what Chisaki-kun?" You pointed before he made a 'ah' sound.

He went to explain before he widen hsi eyes a bit when he saw Kurono getting into the hall.

"(Y/n)?" He said confusely before aproaching you two.

"Kurono-kun! You live here as well?" He nodded a bit, not noticing yet the deep glare Chisaki was sending jim behind your back "So is true that Chisaki rules all this house?"

"What? N-" he immediately shut up when he saw teh fire on those golden eyes and hand gesture for him to shut up before the dark brow haired boy cutted his head out "Sure. Definitely."

"What? Trust issues now?" Chisaki muttered nonchantly while you apologized with waving hands and giggles. "Wait for me right there. I have to have a little chat with... one of my workers." Chisaki glared at Hari while you nodded.

"You're lying, you know that." Hari simply muttered when both boys noticed that you were gone.

"I am not. After Pops I am going to be the next leader of the Shie Hassaikai, so I'm not technically lying." He growled while Kurono only arched one eyebrow at his friend.

"You are the sucessor. Sure. But not the main leader yet. And (Y/n) is going to find out soon or later."

"Do me a favor and shut your mouth." He growled, the white haired boy merely lifting his hands up in defense "And do not let any other subbordinate sabotage while I'm showing the house."

"... you're seriously trying to impress by showing-"

"Go." He growled animalistic while hari sighed and went to do what Chisaki asked demanded.

He sighed a bit in relief before returning to your side, showing around the house more as he offered you to drop your school bag along with his on hsi room... although he might or might not have picked a handkerchief and wiped your bag...

The rest of the evening went pretty smoothly , and even thanks to Hari, one subbordinates of Pops called him young master right when he passed through you two... His ego growing even more the way you giggled at the formality of teh man towards him.

"Wow I know you were important but not THAT much!" You commented while he smirked.

"Is great to know that you know the importance and respect the Shie Hassaikai has."

"Sure. Wouldn't want to get beaten up." You giggle at his scoff and th flip in your temple that he just gave to you. "But for real, is a very demanding thing to do... really, I can't even bare with school work, imagine this. Isn't too exhausting for you?"

He scoffed with a smirk before looking at you.

"It isn't. A great leader knows the perfect balance. And I told you already-" he looked away a bit flustered "If you're having difficulty then just ask. You are the only person on that place I atture, and wouldn't like to have you missing a year."

"Wait, what about Kurono-"

"No." You laughed at his quick and numb answer before he let out one chuckle...

He froze completely when he heard a door opening behind him and that familair voice speaking, making that sweet laugh of yours to stop as well.

"Ah my boy, great to see that you're back... who is this little one here?" The man asked whje noticing your presence and smilling at seing those flustered cheeks.

Chisaki coughed a bit on his fist before losing any words when you bowed a bit at the man, returning with a smile.

"I'm (L/n) (Y/n). Is nice to meet you mister."

Pops chuckled and crouched down to look properly at the two kids in front of him.

"Ah the pleasure is mine little miss. Kai told me that he was bringing someone rather important in here." He couldn't help but to arch a eyebrow at a drop of sweat forming on Chisaki's face while he remained stoic as ever... a bit at least.

"So you planned?" You asked innocently while he coughed a bit before managing to talk again.

"My schedule was... clean." You made a understatement sound but hided the embarrassment growing.

"Is a pleasure to be at the Shie Hassaikai mister." You said with a smile "It must be tough, Chisaki told me somethings."

"Oh? Did he?" Pops arched a eyebrow with a smirk, sensing a, dare he say, bit of nervousness growing on his brat "What exactly?"

"Well-" you went to talk before Kai muffled your mouth quickly and started to push you away.

"I didn't show her everthing. You can talk later, I apologize." Chisaki said nonchantly while Pops got up, chuckling at the hidden desperation of the young man.

But just when Chisaki was pushing you out, Pops decided to call someone to keep a eye on you two while the precepts just answered with something that made Kai cringe immediately since he knew you must have heard itm

"Yes boss."

You made a confused sound while looking at Chisaki, the poor boy growling and burring his face on his hands in utter embarrassment and defeat.

"The lie has a short leg and it takes work to keep my boy." He chuckled while chiskai sensed one side glare at him " a gentleman shouldn't lie, especially for someone they like."

Kai immediatly covered your ears when he said teh last part and shouted after Pops, begging almost for him to stop while the man only laughed and let you two be.

He immediately let go of your ears with a huff, rubbing the back of his neck already expecting the dissapointment in your face.

Although you only giggled at him, and asked if he could talk more about the yakusa, since he knew a lot apparently.

"You're not the leader now but you're going to be right?" You smiled while his heart skipped a beat "Then is good to at least to know."

He stared at you, secretly in awe, before scoffing and muttering 'stupid' before he continue hesitantly yet comfortably to speak for you.

He might like you... just a bit.

When he brought you along to this meeting, he didn’t expect the Académie to stalk the two of you for so long.

Thankfully, you didn’t panic when he discreetly mentioned it to you, trying to keep the man behind the two of you unaware. But, the situation shifted pretty quickly. After a few turns through random alleys didn’t lose the man, Theo had to tug you into a sprint when he noticed the man pulling something from his jacket.

Honestly, Theo was at a loss at first, dragging you through the town while ideas of how to make it back home in one piece flew through his thoughts. It took him a bit for him to register you dragging him for a moment, ducking near where some carriage horses rested.

“Theo, you have to trust me on this one, okay?”

It didn’t seem to matter what curses flew out of his mouth. You ignored him, grasping the slit on your dress and tugging, ripping it further up your leg before-

Before getting deftly getting the horse free from the carriage stable and climbing on.

Everything from that point was a blur, and Wildly uncomfortable, but none of that registered until the two of you made it a safe distance away. And...He wasn’t sure what to say. Especially after having to cling to you for so long as you directed the horse.

“Gods, I know you said the Académie wanted to put a bullet in you, but I thought you were joking!” You joined him getting off, seemingly using the horse as support as you chatted. “I’m glad we managed to get away…”

He considers a quip about luck, but then he sees you tug a card from your sleeve, then two- oh.

He can't help but laugh. The way you're fussing about and huffing, all while clutching the coffee bean bags to your chest, and soon enough you're laughing along with him

Once he sees you off to the carriage, he starts walking back into town, realizing how he was mistaken on your strength.

That, and how you'd probably make for a fun opponent in the games he plays.

It’s not that he never considered you to be weak, or...fragile, but he never realized that there was a limit to your patience.

It wasn’t the best way to put it, but when he went to pop into the parlor, ready to go against Arthur in another battle to vanquish that damned nickname, he was at a loss for words.

“Oi, let go!”

“Stop calling me that then!!!”

Isaac blinked, then found himself covering his mouth, trying to hide the laughter bubbling up from him.

It had seemed like you and Theo had went ahead and beat him here. Presumably, Theo was playing against Arthur for a warm-up while you watched but…

Something had caused you to stand aside Theo’s seat, fussing about as you tugged on his ear.

Isaac didn’t have to guess what had led you to this point, given that Theo’s nicknames for you had caused a few nights of venting between the two of you.

Arthur spotted Isaac in the doorway before the others, and he quickly waved. “Don’t stop the bird, I haven’t seen Theo like this in ages-”

“Arthur, you klootzak-”

Nevertheless, it seemed like Arthur’s quip caught your attention, and as soon as you saw Isaac at the door, you gasped and let go of Theo immediately.

“Finally!”

Despite the blush on your cheeks, you gave a quick scowl at Theo to further in your earlier point, before dropping it when Isaac came closer.

“Impressive? You weren’t put off by that?”

Isaac couldn’t help the chuckle that came out.

“Gods no, it was nice seeing someone else besides Vincent telling Theo to sod off with those nicknames of his.”

A laugh slipped out from you, and Isaac was thankful to see your shoulders finally drop.

“You know, in school I’d do that stuff a lot and got a reputation for it. But I was worried if I did anything like that here you’d be a little...Hesitant with our relationship…”

His blush caught up faster than his words, but judging how your cheeks followed suit, you caught where he was going.

to take a slightly more light hearted break from all the updates regarding the burning sun case, I propose a discourse of jxk in retrospection after gaining all the new knowledge exposed by the media recently

In no way is what I type facts, and I am NOT comparing burning sun case with jxk (jxk is so insignificant and jxk is not a criminal case) yet I will make references to what the media and companies are capable of doing as proven by the exposure from the b. sun case regarding similar behaviours.

we now know that the kpop world is not what some once thought - an ideal fairytale land where idols/ the media never lie to us.

The truth:

We finally realize for sure that in korean ent. industry, sexual favours (in exchange for sponsors, promotion via media manipulation, basically fame and safety), offering prostitutes services... all in all using SEX is commonly used in return for connections / power / protection from the 'higher ups'.

why did jxk happen?

I propose: to cover yg x jni sex/sexual activities and jni has sponsors rumours (updated). After knowing yg is to a certain degree (personal assumption: large extent) involved in B.Sun and gangnam clubs, it makes sense to suspect that the jni rumour could be real. look up yg's past history, how he obtained his wife (emphasis, obtain). 12 years older yg 'fell in love' the moment he saw his wife as a second year middle school girl, recruited her at 16, ruined her career and married her. who knows how exactly yg treats his younger girl employees? Who is there to protect them?

but its just a 'groundless' rumour why was yg desperate?

to propose reasons: 1) it could be real, if so he HAS to camouflage it before it blows up further. 2) even if its not real, he didnt want to put bp's and his own name's reputation at stakes since bp is his most money earning group right now 3) if he doesnt make a deal with dispatch, who ofc are capable of digging deeper and they hate yg (proven by their ability to obtain kkt chats and exposing b.sun evidences) to supply them a fake scandal to cover ygxjni... dispatch WILL expose him. (also keep in mind jni has other sponsor rumour that might or not be true). and 4) - suggested by anon: yg could be taking precautions before b.sun scandal blows up. As we know b.sun revolves around sex crimes, Yg must get rid of the 'boss had sex with employee' label before b.sun blows up. Or else he will get dragged, it would be like adding oil on fire.

this theory is reinforced by allshitpop stating a media outlet discriminately announced 'the yg x jni rumour was false.' why purposefully mention it when no one asked?

but why ji?

main reason: hes an artist from sm. Yg desperately needed a scandal impacting enough to satisfy dispatch (releasing small unconvincing sandals will discredit dispatch's liability and reputation. ) But what to do when none of yg's male artists are popular enough to create a fuss nor any male groups's careers mature and stable enough to withstand the scandal pressure from the general public? the obvious solution is ofc to beg other big companies - sm or bighxt.

Most popular boy groups atm is still btx and ekso. honestly yg wouldve prefered btx due to their crazy fame, and jni will be their first dating scandal... the reactions would be DRAMATIC. yet in contrast to ekso, btx didnt really need to take that risk in hopes for more popularity. (rmb there would always be adverse effects when being involved in a dating scandal despite positive reactions and large no. of supporters). Also, even if btx has any scandals to cover, bighxt's recent merge with cj-enm (described as 'a powerhouse' aka very huge powerful company) means btx's any potential scandals can be taken care of for now. so that leaves ekso.

Who in ekso fits ji's image the most?

(hence will recieve 'positive' reactions and make them more aesthetically believable. without a doubt, its ji and his on going promoted sex appeal.) Reasons for ji and not other members: 1. theres no harm in giving him a beard (personal belief, ignore point 1. if you think homosexuality/kaisoo pairing isn't plausible) 2. to raise his popularity for his potential upcoming solo. 3. if someone who was involved in dating scandal before came up again, they probably predicts the pairing to be more positively recieved --> more supportors and a more hyped response from the public.

but none of that happened, the scandal was managed poorly. The paris evidence was made in a rush (dates didnt match) park pictures were too ambiguous (again dates and time didnt match), even when dispatch posted a pic of ji in a carpark supposedly came back from hawaii to give jni presents after landing - we learned from ji's own ig live that the day he wore the outfit in the photo, he had already returned to korea a few days ago, was around town shopping and went no where near the airport. Besides these failed attempts there was absolutely no other proof that jxk is real.

why was it poorly managed?

bc this is a rare collab between two big rival companies. Yg was the one begging at the start yet sm wasnt able to take full control of this scandal. Conflicts and disagreements upon makng many decisions were highly likely to occur between these two rivals.

The break up

a lot of fans were shocked when jxk broke up just after 25 days. (brand new record). what else is weird?

sm personally confirmed jxk broke up abruptly. Usually when couples break up, fan rumours start to float around first. But not this time, no rumours surfaced yet sm all of a sudden definitively stated that jxk broke up. Back then I already predicted it maybe because yg or bp got into trouble hence sm wanted to distance themselves as far as possible. I still stand by that idea.

Sm must get away from yg and b.sun case for the sake of theirs/ekso's reputation. sm def dont want to be dragged into the mess. Remember, sm as a huge company themselves def have their own dirt to hide, getting dragged means huge consequences if the investigators target them.

so why did sm agree in the first place? I assume its bc altho sm knew that yg had dirt to hide, they did not know it was something as serious, severe and big as b.sun case / tax evading case. Therefore, what are the coincidences that sm announced breakup shortly before dispatch sparked reinvestigation into b.sun by posting crucial evidences? (the first chats)

its highly possible that dispatch warned sm, (which makes them sound like the good guys but no. remember sm is dispatch's source of money and partnered with them many times. b.sun indeed aint directly related to sm, (as for now) dispatch has no reason to ruin sm) Or, sm could have found out through other sources that b.sun case will blow up soon. they quickly cut their collab with yg early, and announced break up probably without telling yg first. (since telling them possibly means giving dispatch away).

this also suggests that dispatch hates yg but anyway.

The benefits of ji

Comparing the two, jni seems to be the one who gained more from the scandal. She got most of media and the public's attention. there is an explanation for this - shes the 'rookier' one, and the trendier one out if the two since bp is still rising when ekso has reached their plateau. However, ji did gain his own lesser share of attention (indicated by the gained followers on his ig).

I have always said that when idols agree to be involved in a scandal, they are likely to get a 'reward.' but now thinking about it, agreeing to scandals is part of ji's contract, rewards are bonus but not obligations. Besides, the scandal itself supposedly helps ji gain popularity for solo and gains a beard, sm didnt NEED to give him more bonus. Often when idols get more modelling jobs / solo etc after scandals is bc sm uses the risen populairty from scandal as an opportunity to maximise profit by giving them more jobs, it might not be bc sm wants 'pamper' them.

Plan cut short

unfortunately for ji who is not getting his solo soon, the jxk plan flopped due to poor management, and was cut short due to b.sun case. The scandal did not fulfill what it was supposed to do and ended prematurely . Followed by the apparent troubles in sm negotiating contract terms with ekso, (delayed ekso schedules),chxn suddenly getting a solo, and the blowing up of b.sun case, ji might have missed his chance again. Or hes simply still preparing.

to summarize i want to clarify a few things.

- none of these are facts, but an overall picture forming one huge speculation.

- I dont try to defame bp or shame them. i also am not trying to state that girl artists def had sex with the hihgher ups. b.sun has shown us that men always have more power over women, and they rarely get protection.

- I want people to realize the dark side of kpop. The kpop industry is full of conspiracies, media manipulation and lies. What you see on tv is not who your idols are portrayed to be on camera. Don't impose your ideal vision on them and hurt others when reality suggests otherwise.

side note: this theory conveyed reinforcement to statements I've made before

- conspiracies are real and true. Look at all the dark and shady events involved in b.sun case

- media play, mass manipulation exist and are common practice.

- dispatch and sm collab and are partners on a case by case basis.

- idols lie on interviews all the time, their tv persona is different from the real them.

- companies offer protection for their idols

- it is indeed common practice to use one scandal to cover another

ANYTHING can happen in the world of the k ent industry. dont lightly dismiss any possibilities. We must analyse the sum of the situations - the full picture of any events before believing anything we are told.

Dave as a Rogue of Space

Analysis and thoughts on Dave’s inverted classpect, the Rogue of Space. Along with an introspection surrounding multiple aspects.

Author’s note: I am a beginner at classpecting and putting my thoughts on paper, so to speak. So the following will be messy, self indulging, open to changes and additions.

When we think about classpecting, we mustn’t neglect someone’s relation between their True Calling and inverted classpect, as they are two sides of the same co1n.

Re-contextualization: Vulcan posted on Twitter an interesting message, which I replied to and it followed-up by a conversation:

« dave would have been a better space player and jade would have been a better time player »

I’ve found that this thought needed more attention and a deeper analysis, so I fuss in my head and look on the internet all the elements that would support it, along with how would dave work as a Space-bound person. Then this is when I remember that dave’s inverted classpect was a Rogue of Space.

I will focus especially on Dave in this theory, as several people already posted about Jade’s inverted classpect, a Seer of Time.

Let’s do quickly the classic way, taking a look at what Rogue and Space entail.

Rogue: The one that steals their aspect or through their aspect for the benefit of others. 

Space: creation, beginnings, visual arts, the setting, physical objects, matter, locations.

Dave’s always inclined to act in a passive and service-minded way. 

If the Knight echoes to the warrior/butler archetype, then the Rogue is linked to the outlaw/stealer archetype, both class sharing a sentiment to help others. 

The Rogue in a mischievous and illegal way, the Knight in a more lawful and noble way. Though if we are honest, that doesn’t make Dave a saint or Roxy a scoundrel. They both remain on the Chaotic Good alignment :)

Now, we have to look at what a Rogue of Space, in general, could do. I have listed a few abilities I found coherent.

Including:

Dave stealing apple juice bottles, more juice for him. Even though it’s not very passive of him, players are allowed to be active and passive, it’s natural and part of their dynamic.

Creating portals, allowing people to get from a point A, to a point B. He would literally steal space for the benefit of others.

Handing objects to their friends like if it was Christmas in here. It could be things linked to creation or creativity, like a drawing.

Taking matter from an object to give it to another one, making the latter bigger.

Stealing matter from the ground to create walls, shielding the team from an attack.

Switching places between two things or persons, could be very useful during battle, confusing the enemies and allowing the team members to gain ground.

Vulcan original idea came from the Extended Zodiac site. While he meant the actual signs that both Jade and Dave would have, I took a look at those who would fit them if they were originally Time-bound and Space-bound, Jade and Dave respectively.

Now Dave came out as the Sign of the Builder, which is interesting to ponder on!

During the Sburb session, he was the server player of two of his friends, Rose and Jade. Using the flow of time at his advantage, he helped them during different sections of time. Which also means that he was building both of their houses, allowing another step closer to victory.

Additionally, according to a great analysis (I need to find the link, I can’t find it anymore) expending a player’s house in Sburb symbolizes expanding one’s mind.

It could implies that Dave along with the Beta teens, helped his friends being less homestuck, or « headstuck ». Which wasn’t the case at first for the Alpha teens, since they didn’t have the required amount of Grist to do so.

Vulcan:

« Dave spent the entirety of his session helping his team out, so I would also interpret "builder" as him building up his team for the session? »

Dave doesn’t see himself as « the strategist », relaying this role to Rose. In my opinion, he didn’t view it with the right angle. While I won’t see him as a leading player, I would say that he is more a « supportive strategist » if that make sense.

If time is about progression, and more specifically the session’s progression in Sburb, then Space is about the setting and environment!

Yes, Dave is good at making things happening time-wise, but he greatly helped Space-wise!

He managed to make Rose enter in the Medium, to be physically there. While he was jumping throughout the timeline, he had to be in different places. At a certain point, while he was gathering money for Terezi, he was also with Jade collecting frogs. There is this notion of Space, by the simple fact of being in several places to help his friends, along with the concept of loneliness.

Dave, like the others, was isolated. His room is his sanctuary, no cameras, no Bro allowed. And while he used music to occupied himself and "kill time", he is tied to visual art as well. His comics and photography.  Photography:

Dave hanged his ironic photos near his window. His closet was used as a Dark Room. We can see his bonds with his other family members, Rose with the light (photo, window), and Roxy with the concept of secrecy and darkness. Which can also be interpreted by Rose's own inversion (photo revealed in the dark, then exposed to the light where everyone can see it) but that’s a story for another time. A selphie is also a physical representation and conservation of the Self. It’s one of the elements that was born from Dave’s narcissism. It’s interesting to note that taking an analog photo captures a moment in time, to end up stuck as a physical flat object ;)

Comics, shittiness and reality:

Back to his art, it can be seen as attached to two aspects: Space for the creation and creativity, and Heart for the sense of representation of Self (Bro and their tensed relationship subconsciously externalized). 

We'll focus on the former. Dave's has an interesting way to narrate his stories. It's random, unpredictable, messy, crude and very genuine. We saw Jade and Calliope drawing. Jade draw well, without been too invested in her art skills. Calliope is very talented and has a nak for storytelling. It's about the setting. If we were to create a pyramid made of characters invested in art setting, dave would easily appear at the bottom. He said himself that "art skills are overrated" and strive to draw as shittidly as possible. It's his brand! Quite literally in the Alpha universe.

Both Space and time are the most important aspects, because they shape reality itself. 

Through the mean of the Alchemiter, Dave picked two objects (Space), catchalogued them, which turned into datas (Light), become ideas (Hope) then make them into another brand new physical object (Space). It’s a circle of creation, that go through other aspects! With the SORD….. it’s curious to see that, by it’s very own nature of shittiness, Dave has a hard time holding it. The weapon is present in the realm, yet not quite tangible. A paradoxal realness brought to existence. A little bit later, he created the SBAHJIFIER. Not only it finally combined two of his beloved hobbies, photography and shitty comics, it allows him to shape and create things with his own personal self and vision of the world as well.

He modifies the object, changes its realness to fit his own desires. Does he work as a Witch of Space at this moment? Or maybe robbing the first appearance and realness of the object, recycling into something else. Wouldn’t that fit the role of a Rogue of Space in some way?

If Dave, as a Rogue of Space, could reach his potential in a Sburb session, he would have a great power over shifting reality. The sord….. as a handy healing item, turning enemies weapons into a shitty near non-tangible objects, taking photos of cumbersome and/or heavy objects, to be able to alchemize them later. Let’s not forget all the juice he could get ^^ rogue!dave is a fearsome opponent, you better not cross his path if you want to stay alive and in high-resolution. This is it for my analysis! Changing elements of existing characters; race, sex etc

I remember when the F4ntastic Four movie came out in 2015 (and seriously, F4ntastic? What is this, the 90’s again?) and we saw that the new Human Torch was… different. There was some concern, admittedly even from me, about this change. I mean, Johnny Storm is white, right? Why cast a black actor?

  Well I could have let that slide without issue as long as they explained, even with just one sentence to not take up too much time, why his sister is white and him black. Yes, there could be a hundred-score reasons why, but it is unintuitive. Since then I have grown up and don’t mind nearly so much, but this “issue” comes up again and again. The new Doctor in Doctor Who is a woman and there has been rumour about a black James Bond floating around for a while. My favourite superhero died and there was a fuss when he was replaced by a black kid; Tony Stark let a black girl replace him as Iron Man (or whatever name she went by) and there was a fuss both times. Are you seeing the pattern?

  Established heroes are being replaced by children!

  I’m kidding.

  But there is always a fuss when a beloved character is changed and I must admit, a black James Bond would bother me. A female James Bond would bother me; the first and least important reason is that James Bond is an established white male character and a lot of his stories would be different if he wasn’t. The other characters in his stories would treat him differently, he would have had different experiences and would not be the same person.

  More importantly though, it’s kind of insulting (not to me mind, I’m a white male) that people seem to think that the James Bond brand is what’s needed to carry a black or female lead. Seriously, we already know that’s not the case, so make a brand-new character who fits your criteria. If you have the rights then put them in the same world as James Bond, sure. That could be fun.

  A female Doctor doesn’t bother me because it works in-world; they established long ago that it was possible to regenerate into a different sex so it’s cool. It works.

  It’s just a shame the writing was crap. Fingers crossed for the 2020 series.

  There were rumours for a while that Spider-Man, no cross that, Peter Parker was going to be gay in an upcoming movie. This didn’t happen and I’m glad. I probably shouldn’t be but I am. See, I let a lot slide in comic book universes because there is the multiverse and as long as we don’t know which universe exactly the story is based in, there is nothing wrong with Peter being gay. But again, why not make a new character who happens to be gay?

  Isn’t it offensive to think that a gay Spider-Man has to be the original?

  This is where Miles Morales comes in. He’s not a black Peter Parker, he’s a brand-new character. And yes, you could say my above argument should apply here, after-all it’s still the Spider-Man brand. But Spider-Man is pretty unique in that there has generally only been Peter Parker. Yes there is Miguel O’Hara in the future and similar variants but many superhero mantles have been picked up by other characters, but Peter Parker is usually Spider-Man and no-one steps up to take his place if he dies or vanishes.

  Except maybe Ben Reilly, Peter’s clone.

  But even if he wasn’t unique, it wouldn’t matter. Do you know how many Spider-Women there have been? Including another of Peter’s clones?

  So when the Peter Parker of the Ultimate universe dies, Miles Morales comes along and tries to pick up the slack. This is just comic book tradition, and it works. I like Miles Morales. He brings a freshness to the Spider-Man story; seriously, screw Uncle Ben I want to see more Uncle Aaron.

  Speaking of Uncle Aaron, I was a fan of Prowler when it was still Hobie Brown under the mask, but multiverse so whatever.

  So changes thanks to the multiverse is cool, as is taking up another hero’s mantle. What else am I okay with? Well for starters, if something is done well.

  It seems a lot of Iron Man fans weren’t too happy with the Mandarin but, and maybe this is because I didn’t know a whole lot of Iron Man lore, I thought that the twist was amazing. That is how you do a trailer. They set up this mysterious terrorist (yawn) who was dominating the Middle East, only for that to be a façade for the real villain. As a twist this is not only amazing but was set up incredibly well.

  And then there is Michelle Jones from Spider-Man: Homecoming who we discover is MJ right at the end. She is quite possibly as far from the MJ we know as is possible but then again, she isn’t Mary-Jane Watson. I really like what they are doing here, using an established character whose relationship with the hero pops up in nearly every iteration, to hint at future sub-plots without actually being the same character.

 So I’ve been pretty positive about the idea of “changing” a character, so why am I bringing this up? Because it doesn’t matter how justified the change is, the execution can ruin it. Doctor Who is a prime example of this.

I was pretty excited to see a woman portray the Doctor because there is a lot in his (I use the male pronoun for a reason) character that you don’t often see in female characters. Matt Smith was amazing at portraying an old man in a young man’s body; he was a treat to watch. Tennant, Smith and Capaldi were all very good at showing a character who was old, who knew, and had experienced, far more than any human could match. He took the lead, got angry when he needed to and had a fire in his belly, a sliver of ice in his heart, usually hidden by a cheerful and possibly forced optimism.

  To see that kind of female character would be new and awesome.

  Instead we had infantile episodes more focused on preaching than actually telling a story. I don’t know if Whitaker can act, I don’t know if she is up to the job of being the Lonely God, because we didn’t get to see it. I’ve been watching the old episodes, by which I mean 1963 onwards and I’ve just revisited the 2005 onwards series’; two companions really has to be the maximum number of companions and if there is a third then they should be the Doctor’s equal. Otherwise the Doctor gets ignored.

  River Song was never just a companion and while you could say that her presence detracted from his, it was in a good way that allowed the characters to bounce off of each other. In series 11 with Whitaker we saw more of Ryan and Graham’s relationship than we did the Doctor herself, that is when they don’t pause the episode to dump exposition onto the viewers (I’m looking at you, episode 3).

  Of course as far as I’m concerned, the greatest sin occurred in the second episode: she gives up. The Doctor gives up. For no good goddamn reason. Okay so there is a reason. Her time-machine, which has been coming and going for centuries isn’t there at that very moment! She didn’t see it disappear, not to return for another hundred years; it just wasn’t there yet and she knew it was due any moment. What the fu-?!

  Who is this woman? Certainly not the Doctor who chases away fleets of spaceships with a speech.

  How about another example? You may have heard of Spider-Gwen (don’t worry she doesn’t actually go by that name, that would be stupid), her series is based on Earth-65 as opposed to the mainstream series which is Earth-616 (who numbers these?). I don’t want to talk about her, although I totally could. I like her and what they wanted to do, even if the execution was poor. No, I’m bringing up the Earth-65 Captain America: a black woman called Samantha Wilson.

  The agenda behind that can already be practically tasted but I prefer not to whine about such things and she seems okay as a character. My problem is that if she went through the same process as Steve Rogers, which she did, then why isn’t she ripped like Steve? Seriously, that guy is jacked in virtually every incarnation so why isn’t she? Because she’s a woman and thus her biology is different? I think it’s safe to say that that is BS and the only reason she isn’t covered in rippling muscle is because it wouldn’t look sexy.

  Men can be huge but women? Nope.

  I don’t mind Gwen not being massive, depending on the artist then Peter can be pretty skinny too. But double-standards much?

 I’m going to close up here. I don’t mind changes to established characters so long as it makes sense: taking up the mantle of a superhero, an alternate universe or possible in the established canon; I do however think that rather than changing an established character, a new character should be made. But while I often like to see these new (or sometimes “new”) characters, I will not force myself to like something if the execution is poor.

It was somewhat uncomfortable having Nico on his back at all time, but he knows it’s for his own safety “So Nico, may I ask you something” the man driving nodded “Since when do you work with Roman” Nico says “I have been working with him since last year, he asked me yesterday to make sure to keep you safe from anyone who I or you consider dangerous sir” Verge felt old when Nico called him sir “Can you maybe call me Verge or at least Virgil, sir makes me feel old” Nico turns around towards him and says “Sure Virgil” Verge smiles at his security man, he guides him to his beauty school, but first, they decide to stop at a McDonalds.

At Patton’s house “So, what would you like to eat Ricky” Patton asks the guy who is in charge of his safety “I do not want to take that type of advantage of you sir” Pat laughs and says “It doesn’t bother me, and please call me Patton, sir is for older men” Patton somehow made the 6’5 man sit down at his table to eat, Ricky thanked the man who he has to protect “Thank you Patton, the food was delicious” Ricky grabs his plate and places it on the sink “Aw, it was nothing Ricky, it feels nice to make food for two, ever since Virgil moved out, I just make food for myself” .

Once Verge entered his class, he remembered something “Shoot, how could I forget” Nico looks at him and says “What’s wrong Virgil” Verge has an idea “Nico, can you do me a favour” Nico was suspicious about this “What type of favour do you need” Verge walks to his station and says “I forgot to bring someone today, I need someone to be my model, Can you be my model today” Verge flashes a huge smile to him “What type of model” Verge takes out his makeup, once Nico saw the makeup, his eyes went huge as a dinner plate “You want to apply makeup on me” Verge grins and nods “I shall agree, under one condition, Nobody finds out about this” Verge lifts his hand to represent he will keep his oath. Verge can tell everyone is looking at him, it’s not because of Nico, but because of the news yesterday, but he isn’t bothered, Nico was enjoying this more than he wanted to, the stroke of Verge’s brushes sooth him, they almost make him fall asleep, he would’ve, if it wasn’t for Verge laughing at him, once the teacher evaluates his makeup, Verge guides him towards the bathroom to wash his face from the makeup “Here, these are makeup removers, just wipe it and wash you face” Nico follows his instructions, but since he is 6’6, he has trouble to wash his face, once done, verge hands him a towel and they leave the bathroom, outside, One of the girls approach them “Hey Virgil, want to introduce me to your friend” Nico could tell he was uncomfortable with this “Nico this is Vanessa, Vanessa this is Nico” He could tell that Vanessa wanted to jump his bones, Nico had a stone poker face on “I am sorry ma’am, I am here to work for Mr. Virgil, plus, I am happily in a relationship at the moment” Nico starts to walk away and hears the girl fuss, He and Verge wait until the car to laugh, Verge felt more comfortable with Nico, he felt like a friend instead of his security “Hey, is it true you have a partner” Nico starts the car and said “Yes, Ricky” Verge couldn’t believe it “Wait, Ricky, as in the guy who takes care of my dad Ricky?” Nico nods his head, Verge never expected him to be together with Ricky.

“Wait, Nico is your boyfriend” Pat asks Ricky in the middle of the store isle “Please Patton, maintain a low voice, but yes, I have been going out with him for 5 years now” Pat couldn’t help to awe, it was cute “So, do you guys work out together or something like that” Ricky grins at the man and says “Yes, we work out in the gym of Mr. Roman, we both live there since we work with him, i have more time than Nico, he has just one year working for him, I have five years” Patton found that adorable, plus, both of them are really buffed and tall, that must be interesting, Pat has to look at him upwards from how tall he is.

“Sir, can you please give us some information about your son’s relationship” “are you involved with them at all” Pat soon got bombarded by people, Ricky got in front of him to protect him, since he has big muscles, he covers him in total, Pat grabs his shirt as Ricky pushes all of the paparazzi to the side, once clear he says “Thank you Ricky” Ricky checks if he’s ok “That is why I’m here, are you ok” Pat nods and they head towards the register.

Pairing: Tom holland x reader

Summary: Inspired by the song I don't even know your name by Shawn Mendes (x). In which Tom meets a cute fan and falls for her, but she is gone before he even realises it.

Masterlist

Tom was tired. All he wanted was to go to starbucks, get some tea and then get back to his place and rest a little before work, however things were not going as planned. He had arrived next to Harrison, however after a couple minutes there, he realised people were staring.

The Spiderman movie wasn't out until next week, however many people seemed to recognize him as they approached him for photos. It was always nice meeting fans, but it had gotten crazy.

According to Harrison someone had posted a photo with him on twitter and suddenly a huge crowd was outside the cafe, hoping to get a photo with Tom.

He decided it was probably better to just get over with the drama and get outside, after all, he was nothing without his fans. He stepped out of Starbucks, greeting everyone as they approached him, screaming for his attention. He got a couple photos done before he tried to head towards his car, bumping accidentally into someone.

“Oh I’m sorry I wasn't looking”

“Don't worry abo- Oh my god! You’re Spiderman! I mean- Peter- wait no- Tom holland!”

The girl in front of him had turned completely red and stumbled upon her own words, trying to make a complete sentence without making a fool of herself, obviously failing. She was a couple inches shorter/taller than him and had this big expressive eyes, that were a thousand times bigger than usual as Y/n could not believe who was in front of her.

She had just gone for a coffee and to walk out her dog, but as she got closer she wondered why there was a big fuss. Now she knew why.

“The one and only”

“And you’re Harrison!”

“Ohh! You recognized him!”

“Who wouldn't? He follows you everywhere”

Both guys laughed as Harrison noticed her little dog

“Your dog is really cute! Tom loves dogs”

“Do you?”

“I mean- yes, my dog Tessa is like my best friend”

“Hey!”

Harrison now was acting offended by the comment, he was supposed to be the best friend. As he got his offended act going on he realised Tom was acting very strange, maybe a little nervous. Meanwhile Y/n girl had gotten a lot more relaxed, and was starting to act as her normal self.

Tom felt really comfortable with this girl, however she was so beautiful he felt his heart speed up and his cheeks warm up every time she looked at him. Harrison decided to step in a little and help Tom out, seeing as he was into the girl.

“Sooo, who’s your favorite superhero?”

“Obviously Captain America”

“I knew it- Wait what? Why him?”

Both boys had expected her to say Spidernam, however Tom was the most surprised to hear her answer. He had hoped she would be into him.

“Why not me?”

“Your movie isn't even out yet! How am I supposed to know if I like it? Besides, Chris Evans? Yes please”

Both Harrison and the girl laughed at the expression on Tom’s face.

“She’s got a point mate- You’ve got nothing on Chris Evans”

The three of them laughed now. The girl was very nervous to ask for a photo, maybe he was in a rush? but she still didn't wanted to lose her chance. She decided to just ask for it.

“I know you’re probably in a hurry, but could we take a picture?”

“Sure, give Harrison your phone, he’ll take it”

She handed Harrison her phone as she posed beside Tom. She had just expected a friendly photo, maybe a little shoulder touching, however Tom had hold onto her waist and brought her closer to him, giving her a side hug and another from behind for different photos.

“There you go, so, who’s your favorite superhero now?

“Still Captain America” The girl continued talking, seeing as Tom was about to protest again. “But, you come in a close second, maybe after the movie my ratings will change”

“I like the sound of that”

Harrison was getting a little impatient by Tom’s attitude. Why didn't he just asked for his number? They were both into each other, God, he was a celebrity! He could have any girl he wanted! He decided to help, once again, to try to maybe get heer social media.

“How about I take a photo with Tom’s phone? He could post it and maybe tag you in-”

Harrison was interrupted as a group of giggly girls approached them, surrounding Tom and asking for photos, leaving Y/n outside the circle they made around the boys.

“It was nice meeting you!”

Y/n tried to get her voice above all the noise, however it was pointless. She didn't want to feel down, however she couldn't help it. What was she expecting? for them to become friends? He was just being polite. She decided to just head back home and maybe stare at her photos for a while.

Tom and Harrison were surrounded by a group of people trying to get their attention, however Tom wanted to find the girl desperately.

“Where is she?”

“I don't know! I can't see her!”

The crowd demanded their attention once more, getting them out of their thoughts. They spend the next 40 minutes taking pictures and talking to fans, until they finally made it to Tom´s car and drove away.

“Man I can't believe I lost her- Did she just left?”

“I didn't saw”

“How am I supposed to find her now? Did you see her? She was the perfect girl for me Harrison!”

The other boy rolled his eyes as he listened to his friend comments. Sure, she was really pretty, but why was Tom so into her? He’d never seen him act that way for anyone.

“I’m serious Harrison! She was the perfect girl! Not only is she insanely beautiful, but she is like, sarcastic, and funny and God!She likes dogs! We would be perfect together!”

“If you liked her so much why don't you just tweet out her name? and like today’s scene? maybe she would see it and message you”

It suddenly hit Tom. He didn't knew who she was. He had been so blown away by her that he didn't even thought of asking for her number, let alone her name. He just felt like they new each other from long ago, asking for her name didn't even cross his mind.

“I don't even know her name”

“You’re like, the most stupid person I know!”

“Now I won't ever find her”

The day kept going on as normal as always. He had some shooting left for a new movie. They were supposed to shot a couple blocks from Starbucks, so they headed there.

Tom did some of his scenes, however he kept redoing them. He knew he wasn't bringing his A game today, but he kept getting distracted. He felt very confused; he knew it was stupid, but he couldn't stop thinking about that girl.

She had just felt so refreshing. She didn't try to impress him, or flatter him, she had just been herself. She looked a little nervous and flushed, however it just made her more beautiful to his eyes. She had worn a cute dress and her hair down, still he kept going back to the way her smile made his heart jump, especially as he had hold her in his arms. A perfect fit.

He tried to push away those thoughts as he prepared or another scene. He got outside his trailer and into the street they were shooting when he saw her.

She was giving him her back, and was heading in an opposite direction, however she was wearing the same sundress as earlier. He couldn't keep his eyes apart from her, not even when the director called for his attention.

He had lost his chance once, he would not do it again. He got on his feet and started running towards her, trying his hardest to get to her. He speed up, losing his breath, but he was just so close.

“Wait!”

Tom screamed trying to get the girl’s attention, succeeding. She looked at him, taken back by the sound, however it was not who Tom expected.

She was not who he was looking for, it wasn't the girl he had  been daydreaming since the morning.

“Sorry-I just- I thought you were someone else.”

Tom got back to filming and went straight to his home afterwards. He needed to be alone.

He had been so hopeful that it was her, however he was defeated. He didn't want to think about her any longer, but every girl he looked at he could just see her bright smile and big eyes. He wanted, he needed to hold her once again, and maybe tell her how good it had felt.

But he couldn't. He didn't knew who she was, or where to find her, and even if he did, she’d probably think he was a creeper! He was starting to sound like one. But he didn't care. Not as long as he didn't had her.

She had just come and punched a hole right through his heart. If he didn't believe in love at first sight before, he did now.

Probably what hurts the most was, that she wouldn't even know how he felt, how much she had affected him. She would never know, and all because he didn't knew her name.

So I saw a post about abusive behaviors and I've come to a realization

My mom uses abusive tactics, which she probably learned from her abusive stepdad unknowingly.

Today she argued with me about smoothies, how my brother and I needed to watch what we were eating and needed to stop having so many smoothies.

Now my brother and I aren't small by any means (he's a husky guy due to genes and a pretty rough routine in indoor marching band and ROTC, and I'm not skinny but I'm not fat either. I'm 5'9 and my brother is 6' something)

She claimed I'd been having one smoothie a week (banana, strawberry, sometimes mango, and some vanilla ice cream). I've been on summer break from school for almost 3 months, and in those three months I've had 4 smoothies which doesn't equate to one a week, or even one every 2 weeks.

She got upset with my "back talk" and eventually relented with "fine, from now on I won't say anything" which honestly sounded great to me

But other times it's not so easy.

For example, she likes to make jokes about stuff. Sometimes it's funny, but other times they're not. Jokes like "how could you do that to your poor mother?". Now I get that it's not a big deal to some people, but I have depression and anxiety. These jokes mixed in with how I usually feel + just the dynamic between us and the way my family is just makes me feel like a horrible human being. I don't make a fuss, I just say that it's not funny when she makes jokes like that cause they make me feel bad.

She always gets. So. Defensive.

"it's just a joke!"

"stop being so sensitive"

"I can never joke around with you and you have to change that because you can't always be so serious and boring"

And if she gets real upset

"fine I'll just not joke with you anymore"

That last one always hits hard because not only did the joke make me feel inadequate as a human being, the end result left me alone and unwanted.

Nevermind the fact that she will literally tell me she misses me when I'm away overnight and when I respond with 'i miss you too' she denies it. Flat out says 'no you dont' and honestly, who TF does that? To their kid no less?!

A few other things:

She's told me not to go over to my ex's house too much because she didn't want his family to get annoyed with me

Constantly tells me that I've got my priorities out of wack because I pay more attention to YouTube and my friends and that's why my grades tank (not the fact that I have just barely started to treat my depression and anxiety, and constantly under stress, and there's always some huge drama going on in my life that literally drains the life out of me and leaves nothing behind)

Tells me I have to get my license to drive but refuses to give me lessons most of the time and we can't afford classes but she insists

When she gets angry it's literally an hour+ long speech that's just a laundry list of all the shit I am inadequate at (don't help enough around the house, am lazy, fight with my brother, bad at school, etc)

Literally told my brother I hated him because I didn't like him touching me (no man in my family could touch me without me feeling uncomfy because of my sexual assault, and also I am quiet and reserved and my bro is a tornado incarnate so I would become overstimulated very easily when you get but to her that equated toe hating him, which literally scarred me cause he would get angry and I would be afraid of him killing himself because I 'hated' him) and I found out only just recently that she talked with him about how hate is a strong word and I didn't actually hate him but never sat down to talk to me about it so I've just been living in an emotional hell for the past decade walking on eggshells because I didn't want to over strain my relationship with my bro and cause him to kill himself or resent me more that I thought he did

Literally makes me feel like a pile of garbage because of my mental illness either with the comments she says about me or about other people but having depression and anxiety are somehow simultaneously not an excuse for shit and also something to be taken very seriously and those people should get help

Doesn't help that every act of sticking up for myself or pointing out the bullshit leads to her saying how I hate her and she doesn't know what she did to be such a bad mom in my eyes. Like the shit I've talked about isn't even HALF of the shit she's said but that's a post for another time.

Anyway

Educate yourself on abusive and manipulative behaviors and tactics so you can learn to spot them and escape them. Don't ever let someone have the upper hand on you. And NEVER let anyone guilt you into doing something you're not comfortable with or is dangerous for you physically, mentally, or emotionally.

I love my mom. She's a wonderful person and does so much for her community as a member of our church and as a teacher, but just because she is a really great person doesn't mean I have to overlook the bullshit she pulls sometimes.

You have power over yourself that no one else should ever have. Be safe out there

I have got a story to tell!!

I went for a trek recently and as usual uploaded the photos stories in WhatsApp and Insta. One of my best friends insisted me that I should write about the experience in detail since I went with zero company. I'm not so good with words or metaphors but here I'm trying to detail what I've experienced.

Usually, I have the habit of exaggerating everything. But when I decided to write about my trip, I wanted it to be damn honest and the way I experienced it and not for the usual Insta update.

For a long time, I was thinking of going on a solo trip and experience what actually it is. So when my colleague Keerthi who is an avid trekker told me about his experience, I got a spark that I should try this one. It took me around 5 months to convince myself that I will be able to make it and it took another 2 months to convince my paranoid mother why I wanted to do it.

After getting the blessings from Mommy Dearest, the date for the auspicious trek was finalised as Feb 3rd 2019. The plan was to reach Delhi by flight and train to Dehradun from Delhi. So I started to Delhi on 2nd Feb morning. Morning dawned as usual and I got ready as usual and boarded local train to airport as usual except the fact I'm carrying 60 litre bag. It was quite heavy and I still wonder why the hell I packed so much for a trek(First timer- you never know what you'll need :P) I left Singara Chennai with much love from two of my best friends Ani and Vaishu. To be honest, I didn't feel a thing till I landed in Delhi. The moment I got into the Delhi metro station alone, the feeling of doing something for the first time started to kick in. Now many of you think what's fuss about this going alone as if I'm going to Moon or other planet(I feel you guys!) but I'll tell you why. This is not something that happens in our household often. Even I go to Bangalore or any other place for office trips or any other trip for that matter, my mother make sure that I call her before, after and during the journey and book the safest mode of transport suggested by the company itself or being accompanied by a friend or colleague. I won't say that I have never travelled alone then it would be a big load of bull shit but this kind of trip and trek with bunch of strangers in no network area is not a usual one for us.

So I met two of my trekmates in the Delhi railway station and we started our journey together to Dehradun. Around 6:30 in the morning, I reached Dehradun and met the other trekmates who were waiting outside railway station. Then the introductions happened and a guy who looked not more than 20 came and introduced himself as my trek leader and he is Himanshu. Haha I was shocked. I had to check twice whether he was the trek leader for real. Then our journey to the village of Sankri began. Sankri is the base camp for our trek. It is around 180 kms from Dehradun. 10 of us got into tempo Traveller and started our journey to the base camp. On the way we had our dinner and lunch.

I still wonder why did I order Dosa in the pahadi restaurant. It was so worse all I wanted to do was to take a flight back to Chennai and have a Saravana Bhavan Dosa. And yeah I don't blame anybody. On the way I saw the glimpses of snow and Yamunotri ranges. Man I was damn excited for this trip!

At around 5, we reached our base camp and got settled in the rooms provided. I explored the village for some time and went to the temple and prayed without knowing who's the God🤦 Back in the camp, all the prerequisites for the trek(medical history, documents) were checked by our trek leader and he started the briefing for trek. We gave a brief introduction about ourselves and it reminded me of my college first day. Then I was so nervous but now it was so fun. I was smiling for no reason. 20 of trekmates came from different cities of India. One big gang from Bangalore, one couple from Mumbai to celebrate anniversary, one couple to celebrate honeymoon, one engaged couple, a father daughter duo from Kolkata, guys from Rajasthan, Mumbai. It was a mix of everything. Once the briefing was done, I went out to have my dinner and felt the first cruel chill of the trek. To be honest, I have never been in a place where the temperature is below 18° C. That too because this year we had actual winter in Chennai. So when you put me in the 4° C, obviously I would shiver and freeze. I was about to cry when I couldn't feel my hands. Himanshu smiled and said 'Hota hai hota hai'. Adeii!! All I wanted to do was to smack his face at the very moment. Then I grabbed the hot tea vessel and had some food for the growling stomach and retired to bed soon. I couldn't help imagining how I'm going to survive for the next 4 days. Truth to be told, I was excited for the trek and panicked for the cold. Somehow I was drawn into a dreamless sleep.

The next day I got up to the commanding voice of Himanshu. This time he wanted to check blood pressure at 6:30 in the morning. Phewww!! There gone my sleep with him. We got ready and had our breakfast and all set to go for the trek. On the first day we had to cross 2.5 kms. But believe me when I tell you it's not just 2.5 kms. When you ascend the mountain, you would feel it requires double or triple the energy to cross than the one guides have mentioned.

After getting the do's and dont's from Himanshu, we started our trek following the trail. We would have walked hardly for 500 m , then it was just snow. I came to know that this year the snowfall was very heavy and usually on this trek we get to see snow only on 3rd day but this time we got it 1st day itself. I was quite happy and excited and got into my usual jumpy mode to see the snow.

I had to pinch myself to make sure that I was not dreaming. I was walking on the 3 feet snow and all I could see was just snow. I played and played and played throughout the trail and fatigue started showing it's face before I could reach the 1st campsite. With much struggle and constant Chalo chalo echoes from the guides Sunil Bhai and Upi Bhai, I reached the camp.

It was such a mesmerizing sight! One side its a valley of snow and other side stood the glorious pine trees bathed in snow yet giving the majestic looks. We have got two local dogs to play with and it accompanied us to other camp sites as well. We played mafia, cards, some funny games for introductions and had a blast on the first day. It felt so very good to get rid of my inhibitions and be able to mingle with a group about whom I knew nothing of. Once the dinner done, some of us decided to go for star gazing and the argument, discussion about various topics during star gazing we had, are something that's gonna stay with me forever.

Second day dawned little cloudy and sun was not ready to come out and meet us. Today we had to cross 4-5 kms. There were three steep ascends in the trail and I was dreaded and excited as usual. But it was much better than I expected and was one of the firsts to reach base camp. On the way we had so much fun and as for me, 2nd day was the best. I sang the loudest on the way and threw snow at everyone I saw and we played with the fresh snow on the whole trail.

I stopped at so many places and wondered whether I'm in heaven. The moment I saw the frozen lake Juda ka thalaab, I fell in love almost immediately. How can everything be so pristine white like there is no hint of cruelty or bad vibes in it! Words fail me to describe the magnificence of the nature. No adjectives are enough to express the beauty of it. All I could do was to be in the moment and enjoyed it till lasts.

The same joyous mood stayed for the complete day. Even in the campsite, we played games but this time, on the snow. I was so carefree, and didn't have any worry about anything in the world. I made snowman(with huge help from Rahul), engaged in snow fight, played so many games. It was just merry making time for us.

After the two days of trek, I was confident that I could manage to reach the summit. So it was never a question of whether I could do or not.

Himanshu told that we would be starting at 5 in the morning for the summit. Around 11 pm, I woke up to the butterflies in my stomach. I thought it was the excitement and nervousness of climbing the peak. But later I found it was the butterflies of sickness. I threw up twice and Himanshu was called and he gave medicines and clearly told me that he wouldn't allow me for summit if my condition remains the same. So I prayed all the gods to keep me fit and healthy just for a day.

Around 3:30 am, we got the woke up call and we were welcomed with snowfall and bone breaking cold. I hoped that weather and my health get better before trek get started. An hour passed with the refreshments and nokjhoks. Weather got much better than me. I was feeling breathlessness for walking from my tent to dining area. Himanshu told me that I'm not going anywhere and asked me to take rest. After much pleading and him not wanting a debate in the morning, I started the trek. I took my father's muffler with me and keep on talking with it as if with my father. I keep on telling 'Appa epdiyadhu poidanum'. I pretty much managed half way then suddenly I started feeling nausea and was about to faint. I had to walk to a hut which was 100m away where I could take rest and start again but I couldn't even reach there. At that moment I realised I'm not gonna make it to summit and I failed. I informed my guides and Himanshu that I'm not coming and they can go ahead. I sat in the hut for 20 minutes feeling dejected and listening to a guide and other fellows who decided not to go to summit for various reasons. I listened and listened and suddenly I couldn't any more. I came out controlling my tears and looked at the majestic Kedarkantha peak for one last time and started to run to the base camp. Alone. Defeated. I blamed myself, my father, my health, Himanshu, anything and everything that came on my mind. And then I stopped and took a look around me. It was just snow and mountains looking at me. I sat there on the snow and started thinking why I failed. Then I realized I triumphed the moment I took the TT to Sankri with 10 odd strangers. It was never about the climbing the summit at 13000 ft. It was about me coming out of my comfort zone which I have drawn for myself. I still remember when I was roaming on the streets of Delhi, I gave a thought of going back to Chennai without even showing up in Dehradun. But I came to Sankri and for 3 days I was among the strangers doing things which I have never done in my life and lived my life like never before and survived -20° C. This is the success for me and this is what I wanted. If I climbed the summit, that would definitely been a cherry on the top but I can't sulk over it and not seeing the happiness and fulfillment I got every other minute over the past 3 days. I have never seen snow in my life but here I'm walking on the snow and couldn't see anything other than snow and beautiful ranges. Why would I worry for something which I can't control?? With determined mind, I started walking to the base camp. This time contented and happy. I danced, I sang, I laughed, I played, I talked with the mountains and I slid down the snow. Simply I lived in the moment and enjoyed the time. With the whole hearted happiness, I reached the base camp, gulped the medicines and waited for others to join. I heard the stories of people who climbed the summit and to my surprise I didn't regret the decision of coming down. We stayed in the pahad for two more days and enjoyed the bliss and started our way back to Dehradun bidding good byes to our guides, Himanshu and the black dog who accompanied me throughout the trek! Being emotional type that I'm, I shed two or three tears when Himanshu hugged and asked me to come back to finish the summit.

When coming back, all the memories of the last 5 days rushed in my mind and probably the precious memories of my life. I'm sure I will go back to see the mountains again. May be they wanted me to come again and that could be the reason for my sickness 😝 (When you're are so optimistic, you can say anything)

This 5 day trek was not just another vacation for me. It was the best time and there is a feeling of content and self realisation! I realised it's ok to give yourself a break and live the life a little at times!!

While we were on the trek, everyone had a story to tell. When they looked at me, I told them with much embarrassment that I don't have any story. Rahul cheered me up and said 'Now you have got a story'.

And yeah now I have got a story to tell everyone💛

Mauricio Pellegrino, the terminated coach who dislikes failing and fuss when he winnings | Sid Lowe

hi my problem in a nutshell is my vehicle was hit in the rear while it was parked, when i confronted the driver we had an argument and the police were called no offences were committed and the police left after me and the other driver exchanged names and addresses.
