So I hand this idea for ANOTHER TWIN AU where Danny at a young age was tasked to infiltrate the Fenton family and was told to basically blend in and pretend to be their kid until they full realized the uses of Lazarus Water (ectoplasm) this was a secret mission and everyone including Damien didn’t know what happened to Danny and Ra’s basically ordered everyone to not speak about him.

Ra’s did this so if Danny failed his missing he wouldn’t have to worry about it. Damien on the other hand was devastated, his twin, his other half was dead to the league of assassins and it hurt more than he could bare. Yet he moves on and vows to kill whoever took Danny away from him.

Danny of course went along with it all because (he was a child soldier) and just wanted to get this done as soon as possible so he could go be with Damien. But there was something that Danny and Ra’s both didn’t take into account during the mission, the Fenton’s only daughter Jazz. How as soon as she saw Danny she promised to be the best big sister she could be! Danny tried to resist her but he eventually caved in and found that he started to care for her as a sibling too! Danny spent seven years undercover and now the Fenton’s have finally made some strong progress with the portal. Danny decided that once the mission was over he would take Jazz with him! That they would be a family and Dami would love her too! And maybe he would be able to come and visit Sam and Tucker ever once in a while.

But then Danny died…

And came back as a ghost…

But when he died something in his head just clicked. After spending years with this chaotic family (and really just caring for his sister and friends) he realized he didn’t want to leave. Danny would have some internal struggles but eventually decided that he would stay and keep the town safe from the league of assassins as well as the ghosts that he (kinda) helped unleash onto the world.

So with the help of Sam, Tucker and Jazz they manage to create a social bubble for all of Amity Park, just so the league doesn’t come snooping.

But if Damien ever met Jazz he would most DEFINITELY blame her for keeping Danny away from him. It’s up to you all if he would ever forgive her or not!

Jason? Aware of none of this. 

He was on comms, y’know listening and rolling his eyes at Dickwing, who used his real name, really Dick, he mocks. It’s just a stakeout, nothing new there, honestly boring when he could be blowing something up instead. It should have just been a stakeout. 

Yet there’s something suddenly there, something behind him. Something that causes his hair to stand on end and his comms to spark into static like some sort of horror movie. Something, something with clawed hands with corpse-pale skin tipped in black, stained or dead or something else, tilting his head up and up and up as he’s frozen. 

“A child, out here? Alone?” a voice crackles, hisses, hums, and purrs, somehow all at once, unnatural in its tone. He can’t move, he needs to move, he has to move, but it’s like the space around him has gone cold and dead, like he’s stuck in the Pits once more as claws hold his head and his vision blurs. “Sleep, child. Rest- we’ll be home soon.”

i recently learned to love homestuck again and fell in love with their sibling franchise hiveswap. I've gotten obsessed with drawing full-bodies of these characters and decided to redesign some of them with unique features! ✨

here is kuprum maxlol from hiveswap ⚡ i just finished this guy and hope i can keep drawing more! it features my friend @crow-cello's version of sollux for better reference of the bee biology we have for the goldbloods 🐝 maybe eventually i can work up a reference sheet to better illustrate the differences between our bees!

i rewrote all of the info on Kuprum's reference sheet under the cut in case my handwriting is hard to read 🙈

KUPRUM MAXLOL (GOLDBLOOD, DRONE BEE)

6'2 ft (187.96 cm)

PSIONIC POWERS. Streams of electricity that discharge from his palms, but exist throughout his entire body. Comes out yellow on his right and purple on his left.

GOGGLES. Fuschia colored. Lens are yellow (his right) and purple (his left). Always wears them because his eyes are aglow.

ATTIRE. Has to tie shirt around the neck and lower back like an apron. Gives wings breathing room. Wears shorts that grip at the bee's knees. Arms warmers instead of long-sleeved undershirt. Does not wear footwear.

BODY. Goldbloods are bee-like trolls. There are worker bees ♀️ and drone bees ♂️. Both have different features. Kuprum is a drone bee!

ANTENNA. Feelers that can learn the biology of another via touch

MANDIBLES. Mandibles on either side. Spreads apart as his lips move. Only exists in drone bees.

FLUFF. Has fluff around neck. Drone bees fluff is yellow. Worker bees fluff is black.

HAIR.

HORNS. Two sets. Gradients instead of candy corn.

EYES. His right eye is yellow. His left eye is purple. Appears white because of how bright his eyes are.

WINGS. Sprouted on upper back. Does not work.

LEGS. Has bee-like legs starting from the bee's knees. Helps him climb and crawl around better.

SOLLUX CAPTOR. Worker bee (trans male) Has bee butt and smaller features.
