World Sleep Day!

*hooOOoonk, shoooooooooo. mimimimimimimimi* *Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz* *inhale, exhale, innhaaaalle... exhaaaaaale*. *snore* On your back, on your side, on your face, if that's what you're into. There are many, many ways of doing it, and each and every one the right way. And it really could not be simpler: all you need is a bed, a blanket, a pillow, a nightcap, and your merry self. That's right, folks, it is, of course, sleeping. And, we hear you ask, why are we celebrating this basic human need? Well, that's because today is all about it. It's time to put on night gowns, extinguish lamp lights, and curl up in your bed/nest/cryogenic sleep pod/pile of leaves, because today is #world sleep day, a celebration of our beauty sleep, our nap times, our 40 winks, more or less. It's a beautiful thing, and we are very ready, and very sleepy. So curl up, buttercup, and let's get cosy.

Looking at Kraken Ed with his greasepaint on I'm just like, baby him!!! Stede going "Oh honey were you playing makeover?" Wiping his face clean, Kraken is v v grumpy but so shocked to be treated kindly he just ends up sitting still and glaring at Stede while he gets babie ready for bed

The big scary Kraken being just a baby squid having a tantrum for Stede who is doting on him and baby talking him like, "Wow such scary makeup, you did such a good job! But we don't want your bedding to be allll caked in this, nooo we don't silly," as he's wiping Kraken's face

Ed the whole time is fuming and huffing but, doing nothing to stop Stede and letting him be cleaned up, probably leaning into the soft touch by the end of it- but still wanting to be all grumpy and mad, but that's kinda hard when Stede is cooing him and asking him which night gown he wants to wear that night be beddiebyes xD

Johnny would’ve done so well with Miyagi-do training, because he’s looking for stillness. He’s looking for peace. Miyagi-do training is actually perfectly suited for him, right down to the unorthodox training techniques.

And Daniel does so well with the training, because it’s the opposite of him. He’s always in danger of flying away, he’s impatient and impulsive, it helps to ground him, it reminds him to breathe. 

Of course now Daniel’s the one who’s going to be teaching him the techniques, which’ll be interesting
