Pictures from this morning’s walk on the lake path. Leaves were falling slowly one by one from the tree behind the bench and I might have sat down and watched the mist rolling over the lake in the first light if it hadn’t been so cold. Maybe if I had brought a thermos of hot chocolate. ☕️

If you walk on the canal path far enough from where I park you get to a bench that’s in a pretty nice spot. If you can’t get to the canal path just imagine yourself there, seeing the sun and trees, feeling the fresh autumn breeze and catching a faint earthy scent of fallen leaves. I can almost see you.
