#manukahoney #rawhoney #honey
Hello Achiever Fam! 🍯
It's time for the ultimate honey showdown: Manuka Honey 🐝 vs. Raw Honey 🌼 vs. Regular Honey 🥄. Which one reigns supreme in the world of health benefits? Let's dive in!
Ingredients Breakdown: Manuka Honey: Packed with the unique compound Methylglyoxal (MGO), known for its strong antibacterial properties. It's also rich in leptosperin, DHA, antioxidants, and prebiotics. Raw Honey: Boasts over 180 substances including vital minerals like potassium, calcium, magnesium, and a spectrum of B-vitamins and vitamin C. Remember, it's minimally processed to preserve these natural treasures. Regular Honey: Often processed, which might dilute its natural goodness. Beware, much of the store-bought honey could be mixed with sweeteners like high-fructose corn syrup.
Surprising Fact 🤯: Americans consume about 400 million pounds of honey annually, with 70% being imported, often adulterated with other sweeteners. The Health Benefits Showdown: Manuka Honey: A superhero for your immune system, digestive health, and energy levels. It can battle bacteria like Staphylococcus aureus and soothe sore throats. It's a beauty guru's dream for combating acne and moisturizing dry skin. 🌟 Remember, the higher the MGO rating, the stronger the benefits! Raw Honey: A historical gem for immune support, packed with prebiotics for gut health and antioxidants for fighting off free radicals. 🛡️ Pro Tip & Warning 💡: Raw honey might contain botulinum spores; hence, it's a NO-NO for babies under one year old due to the risk of botulism. This applies to all honey types.
So, achiever fam, which honey are you sweet on? 🍯 Share your thoughts in the comments below. And don't forget, more honey comparisons are on the way in our next video! See you soon! 👋

The Health Benefits of Mānuka Honey
Mānuka Honey, derived from the nectar of the native Mānuka tree in New Zealand, has gained tremendous popularity in recent years due to its remarkable health benefits. This golden elixir offers more than just a sweet taste—it is known for its antibacterial properties, wound healing capabilities, and potential immune-boosting effects. Buy Manuka Honey Onlinbe at Best Price In India.
In this blog post, we will delve into the incredible health benefits of Mānuka honey, shedding light on its medicinal properties and why it has become a coveted ingredient in natural health and wellness.
Tumblr media
Powerful Antibacterial Properties:
One of the key attributes that sets Mānuka honey apart from other types of honey is its potent antibacterial activity. Mānuka honey contains a naturally occurring compound called methylglyoxal (MGO), which is responsible for its antibacterial effect. Studies have shown that Mānuka honey can inhibit the growth of various bacteria, including those resistant to antibiotics. Its antibacterial properties make it a valuable natural remedy for treating wounds, cuts, and infections.
Accelerated Wound Healing:
Mānuka honey's ability to promote wound healing is another remarkable benefit. When applied topically, it creates a protective barrier over the wound, preventing infection and promoting faster healing. The honey's high sugar content creates an osmotic effect, drawing moisture from the wound and promoting a moist healing environment. Additionally, its antibacterial properties aid in reducing the risk of infection, while its anti-inflammatory properties help to reduce swelling and pain.
Potential Immune-Boosting Effects:
Research suggests that Mānuka honey may have immune-boosting properties, helping to support overall wellness. The antioxidants present in Mānuka honey can help combat oxidative stress and reduce inflammation, which are key factors in maintaining a healthy immune system. Regular consumption of Mānuka honey may provide a natural boost to the body's defenses, helping to fight off common illnesses and promote a robust immune response.
Digestive Health Support:
Mānuka honey has been traditionally used to soothe digestive issues and promote gastrointestinal health. It is believed to have antimicrobial properties that can help inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria in the gut. Consuming Mānuka honey may aid in relieving symptoms of digestive disorders such as gastritis, acid reflux, and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Its natural prebiotic content also supports the growth of beneficial gut bacteria, contributing to a healthy digestive system.
Overall Well-Being:
Beyond its specific health benefits, Mānuka honey can contribute to overall well-being in various ways. Its rich nutritional profile, including vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, provides a boost of essential nutrients. Additionally, Mānuka honey can serve as a natural energy source, offering a healthier alternative to refined sugars. Some people also report improved sleep quality and relaxation after consuming Mānuka honey, attributed to its naturally occurring compounds that promote a sense of calm.
Conclusion:
Mānuka honey is a true gift from nature, offering a wide range of health benefits that go beyond its delightful taste. Its potent antibacterial properties, accelerated wound healing capabilities, potential immune-boosting effects, and support for digestive health make it a valuable addition to any natural health regimen. Whether used topically or consumed internally, Mānuka honey provides remarkable advantages that can enhance overall well-being. Embrace the power of this golden elixir and experience the transformative effects it can have on your health and vitality. Remember to choose high-quality, certified Mānuka honey to ensure you reap the maximum benefits.

Does Swapyrus' love for honey vary? Like, does he have a preference? Common clover bear bottle honey? Raw honey? If you wanna go the expensive route, there is Manuka honey, which provides lots of benefits.
I also heard that killer bee honey is surprisingly very good as well!
... Yes, I have a bit of knowledge on honey varieties and types. I'll gladly accept that I am an oddball. Lol

For centuries, people have enjoyed this amazing gift of nature for its many health advantages, including its capacity to strengthen immunity.
Together, let's make this Christmas not only joyful but also healthy.
Tumblr media
Understanding the Immune - Boosting Power of Honey
Not only is honey a healthy sweetener, but it also contains minerals, enzymes, and antioxidants that help boost your immune system.
Honey's antioxidants help in the fight against free radicals, which can impair your immune system.
Honey also has antiviral and antibacterial qualities that help prevent illnesses.
Because of this, honey becomes an extremely useful ally during the cold and flu season, keeping you healthy so you can enjoy the seasonal delicious foods.
Honey and Warm Drinks - A Comforting Defense Against Winter Illness
Honey is a must-have for holiday health since a spoonful in tea or warm water helps clear your throat and prevent frequent winter illnesses.
Adding honey to a warm glass of lemon water or a traditional cup of herbal tea can improve its calming properties.
Honey's natural enzymes help soothe sore throats, and its antiviral qualities help your body fight off cold viruses.
Have a warm beverage infused with honey first thing in the morning to gently strengthen your immune system.
DIY Honey Remedies - Simple Recipes to Keep Colds at Bay
This holiday season make effective honey-based medicines to stave off colds and the flu with a few simple ingredients. A typical treatment is a mixture of ginger and honey.
Just combine honey and shredded ginger, then let alone for a few hours. When a cold seems like it could come on, take a teaspoon of this combination.
Because of its antimicrobial qualities, honey and cinnamon paste make an additional potent treatment.
To maintain a strong immune system, combine one tablespoon of honey with one teaspoon of cinnamon and take it on a regular basis.

Try roasted veggies with a honey balsamic drizzle or ham with a honey glaze for a festive touch.
Honey might be the main ingredient in your Christmas treats if you're in the mood for something sweet.
Honey can be used to make honey cakes, cookies, or even just a honey drizzle over fruit or yogurt.
These recipes are delicious, but they also have the extra benefit of honey's ability to strengthen immunity.
Honey for Skin Care - Protecting Your Skin During the Festivities
Not only is honey edible, but it can also be used as a natural moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated and shielded from the cold winter air.
Your skin may become dry and sensitive in the winter. Honey is a great addition to your skincare routine because of its inherent humectant qualities, which help seal in moisture.
How to Prepare;
Applying a small layer of honey to your skin and letting it sit for 15 to 20 minutes before rinsing off will make a basic honey face mask. Your skin will feel moisturized, smooth, and ready for the holidays after doing this.
Choosing the Best Honey - What to Look for This Christmas
Discover how to select the highest quality honey so you can maximize its health advantages over the holiday season.
Not all honey is created equal. Look for raw, unfiltered honey when shopping for honey, as it keeps the greatest nutrients and health-promoting enzymes.
Because of its strong antibacterial qualities, Manuka honey is a great option for increasing immunity.
To be sure you are getting the best product possible, always check the label for purity and attempt to get honey from nearby beekeepers.

World Honey Bee Day
These little creatures are nature's buzzworthy superstars! They're responsible for pollinating a third of our food supply and creating delicious honey.
We often take nature for granted. We don’t think about the pivotal role that all of life’s creatures play. However, World Honey Bee Day gives you the perfect opportunity to pay honor to the incredible honey bee. Read on to discover everything you need to know about this day, as well as the critical role that honey bees play in our everyday lives.
Learn about World Honey Bee Day
World Honey Bee Day is an awareness day whereby honey bee enthusiasts, beekeeping associations and clubs, and beekeepers celebrate the honey bee. It is a day to recognize the contribution that honey bees make to our everyday lives, as well as learning about the different steps that we can take in order to protect this vital species. On World Honey Bee Day, we also pay homage to beekeepers. After all, it is their efforts that make sure that there are healthy and well-managed bees to pollinate crops.
The health benefits of honey
Of course, honey bees provide us with honey, and this is one of the many reasons why we should be thankful for them! Honey is a golden, thick liquid, which is produced by bees using the nectar of plants that are flowering. The kind of flowers that bees visit will impact the texture, smell, and taste of the honey, resulting in different types of honey, including orange blossom, clover, acacia, and manuka honey.
There are a lot of nutritional benefits that are associated with adding a bit of honey to your diet. High-quality honey offers a number of benefits because of the antioxidants that are included. These include phenolic compounds, such as flavonoids, as well as organic acids. The antioxidants that are found in honey have been linked to lowering the risk of strokes, heart attacks, and some forms of cancer. They are also believed to assist in terms of eye health.
There have also been studies that have shown that honey can help to improve your cholesterol levels. If you have high LDL cholesterol levels, then you are going to be at a greater risk of having heart disease. This sort of cholesterol plays a massive role in atherosclerosis, which is the fatty buildup in your arteries that can cause strokes and heart attacks as well. There are more and more studies that are showing that honey can help to enhance your cholesterol levels. This is because it significantly raises the good HDL cholesterol while lowering the total of bad LDL cholesterol.
Honey cannot only benefit you in terms of consuming it, but it has been used for many years as a topical treatment for healing burns and wounds. In fact, this can be dated back to Ancient Egypt. Researchers have concluded that the healing powers of honey come from the anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects it has, as well as its ability to nourish the tissue that surrounds the wounded area.
Bees are disappearing
Bees are critical to our daily living, yet they are in decline on a worldwide scale. This is because they face a number of different threats. The use of toxic pesticides is one of these threats. They are also at risk due to habitat loss, as there has been an increase in invasive farming methods and urban developments, meaning that places that honey bees used to call home do not exist anymore. In honor of World Honey Bee Day, it is good to do your bit in order to raise awareness regarding the risks that honey bees all around the world face and the steps that we can take in order to help them. You can begin by researching this issue so that you can find more information about the different challenges that bees face and the reasons why their population is on the decline. By doing this, you will then be able to educate others and we can all do our bit to make sure that the number of bees starts to increase again, rather than decline.
History of World Honey Bee Day
World Honey Bee Day, previously known as Honey Bee Awareness Day, is an idea put together by beekeepers in the USA, who petitioned the USDA in 2009 for an official day to honor honey bees and beekeeping. A few years down the line, people across the globe are holding a date of observation every year.
The organizers of the event, on the concept of the World Honey Bee Day, have said:
Bring together beekeepers, bee associations, as well as other interested groups to connect with the communities to advance beekeeping. By working together and harnessing the efforts that so many already accomplish, and [by] using a united effort one day a year, the rewards and message is magnified many times over. We encourage bee associations, individuals, and other groups to get involved. The program is free and open to all.
How to celebrate World Honey Bee Day
Honey Bee awareness enthusiasts will likely put a bee in your bonnet and say this is not so much a day to celebrate honey bees, as it is to promote their involvement in sustainable farming.
On this day, bee lovers everywhere decorate their gardens with lavender, borage, and marjoram, the bee’s knees in pollinator lures. If you have the time and patience, bake some honey chippers and make your own honey fruit cobbler.
We also recommend that you take the time to learn more about the honey bee on this day and how we can all do our bit in order to provide them with a supportive environment. When we plant orchards, wildflowers, and other types of flowering plants, we are supporting pollinators, which includes honey bees. Honey bees depend on the nectar of different plants in order to survive. We also need to recognize that we depend on honey bees for our own survival. After all, if they did not pollinate, a lot of the nutritious plants that we need would not reproduce. It’s all about the circle of life, and we should do our bit to help other specious along the way.
Another way to celebrate World Honey Bee Day is by enjoying a honey-based treat. There are lots of different options for you to choose from. Whether you’re looking for a tasty dessert or you want to incorporate honey into your main meal, we have got you covered. Here are some tasty suggestions to consider: honey-roast confit of duck, honey cake, vanilla and honey madeleines, stir-fried pork with honey and ginger, salted honey fudge and chocolate tart, honey mustard grilled salmon, homemade crumpets with burnt honey butter, and crispy honey buffalo wings. Is your mouth watering yet?
And because you’ve been as busy as a bee all day, sit back and watch Hitchcock’s ‘The Bees’. You’ll count your blessings honey bees are nothing like South American killer bees!

Updates
If you want to know about updates to a specific project I leave my anticipated upload schedule in fic notes(usually on ch 1).
For the most recent updates follow me on Twitter, that is where I post about when new chapters go up, and will say if chapters are delayed etc.
I am not opposed to you politely asking about updates in my comments sections, so long as you keep it respectful(or funny) and don't overdo it. I totally understand the worry over fics updating, and I take it as a compliment that you're that worried about my silly little story :]
Boundaries
Minors - If you're a minor do not message me, and do not interact with any NSFW content I create. I am an adult, and I do write some stuff rated T, but a vast majority of my work is rated M or E and intended for an adult audience only.
Critique - Critiques of my work are fine, though I'd prefer to not see it(don't tag me etc). Tip - Compliment sandwiches are your friend. Anything that is overly negative/harassment in comments will be deleted. Keep things civil and within reason and we'll be fine. I have thick skin, but I do this for fun and don't have time for this type of thing. If there is a serious error in a fic feel free to dm me about it. I'd rather you dm if there is a factual error or a glaring typo, rather than pointing that out in a public comment.
Inspired works - if for some reason one of my works inspires you to create your own thing(art, fic, headcanon, etc), awesome! Please tag me and stuff, I wanna see it. I don't really care about credit or anything(we're all here to have fun). But if you make something based off something I create I seriously will probably cry(in a good way). Please tag me in anything you create <3
Sharing - Feel free to share my works on Twitter(for non-rpf works) or with your friends, fic clubs etc. However please do not share my RPF works on twitter or Tiktok. I'd appreciate them not being broadcast on platforms where they could be easily seen by the subjects.
And please let me know what you think, I love interacting. However do not repost my works to any other platforms(like Wattpad). I only post on AO3 and would like to keep it that way.
Interacting - I seriously just love being in fandom communities. It's why I love comments so much. I just wanna chat about blorbos, ships, writing, fandom culture, and everything in between. Go nuts, comment away, tag me on Twitter, send asks on Tumblr, I promise you aren't bothering me.
More About Me as a Writer
Here are some posts to get a better sense of where I am as a writer, and what my tastes are with regards to storytelling. Just so you can get a taste of my specific brand of crazy ;)
My favorite fanfiction trope post
Weirdest places I've written fanfiction post
Beta and Collabs
Beta requests - If you are looking for a beta reader(in my fandoms) then reach out, I might very well be interested(if it's for the Aurelian Cycle the answer is a preemptive YES). Just let me know the project you're working on and the type of feedback you're looking for and I'll get back to you.
I have a pretty quick turnaround time, but I am an adult with a full time job, so it depends on how busy I am.
Writing Collabs - if you are a fellow fic writer and want to collab and write something together, yeah I'd like to talk. I've never done it before, but it sounds fun :) I am picky about ships though. Other Works These are previous fandom works that I am no longer active in. I am always happy to talk about them so don't be afraid to send asks or comment <3
DNF/MCYT fics: The Hounds of Love(11/11) Unsought is Better(9/9), Suffer Love(UIB sequel)(9/9) February 15th(5/5) I'd Lie(24/24) Hecate's Little Demon(5/7) One Fated Thread(3/3) Haunted Deep(3/3)

Why, why would you make mead out of Manuka honey?
There is a crazy person on r/mead doing this.
That shit is so, so fucking expensive.
It's sold for its health benefits, namely that it's got significantly more "bio-active" anti-microbial enzymes than the average honey.
I think if you really want to take advantage of its health benefits you should probably be using it for wound healing, not necessarily consuming it. Maybe it might help more with a sore throat than regular honey.
You know what doesn't help with a sore throat? Drinking alcohol. The fermentation process is going to destroy most if not all of the medicinal properties the honey has. So why brew it?
The taste?
It tastes weird. Kind of medicinal. A bit of an acquired taste, as honeys go. Not my favorite. If you want to make weird tasting mead with weird tasting honey, there are so many less expensive weird tasting honeys you could use, like buckwheat for example.

Health Hacks for college students getting sick
As the first week of classes comes to a close, students often start feeling the sniffles. It’s very common on such a big campus to be exposed to all different kinds of germs. I have experienced months and months of sinus infections and have learned how to feel better or prevent the sickness before the antibiotics are necessary. The best tool and the most powerful natural antibiotic is Manuka honey. I have seen first hand how manukau honey can heal wounds, acne, digestive health and especially help fight infection in the body. If you are feeling sick take 2-3 tablespoons of a high quality manukau honey till you feel back to 100% and you will be able to skip the antibiotics that tear your gut apart. You can take manukau honey daily or only when you’re sick or wounded.
