Which is the best corporate law firm in Kerala?
Regardless of whether you own a small enterprise or a large company, you may be faced with the need to seek legal help. Many law firms are available on the Internet for this purpose.
But it can cost you a lot to select someone in a hurry. You must therefore take into account the following factors before you choose the best one, for example:
The first thing you should     remember is "trustworthiness" when searching for the best     company law firm in Kerala. Yes, a trustworthy person will offer all his clients     exceptional services. Thus, a trustworthy law firm is always to be     approached. You can check this out by simply visiting genuine websites to     examine all of their former clients online. You can consider choosing them     if you receive positive feedback. Otherwise, some other options may be     available!
In addition, the     "Company Credentials" is another important factor to take into     account. To do this, you have to look at the legal body's background,     information, and rating. And this will certainly help you to understand     their dignity. Please note, select the trustworthy solution that has     highly qualified and competent applicants who can handle legal concerns     such as yours.
Last, but not least, fees are also an important point to be addressed. However, make sure you avail your attorney’s services at affordable costs when you approach a trusted law firm. You must make some meaningful research for this!
Thus, you can stop your search at the office of Adv. John Mani V and his associates if you're also looking for the best corporate law firm in or around Kerala. The Key To Rapid Recommendations For Which Business Is Best At Home
Home Business Strategies That Can Make You More Successful
Tumblr media
Owning a home business has many advantages. You will be able to work at your own pace and at a schedule you set for yourself. Finding a business which will be profitable and one in which you will excel, can be the hard part. Of course, most businesses take some capital to get started, too.
When preparing tax statements for your home business, don't put down any deductions that you feel you can't uphold. If you can't prove it on paper in your tax file, you certainly won't be able to prove it with a tax auditor breathing down your neck. If it doesn't feel right, don't take it.
Ensure that your home business is properly insured, by discussing the business with an insurance agent. You should also make sure that your home business complies with local zoning laws and city ordinances. You don't want to start a dog care business, if there is a limit to the amount of animals you can have on your property. Gather testimonials for your website. Show the public at large what content clients are saying about your products. When you receive high-praise from happy customers, ask them if you can use their words on your website. If they say yes, thank them by sending them a free sample of your latest product.
If you have developed a product that you want to sell on a wholesale basis, identify your potential business customers through search engine results, local stores or word of mouth. Contact these stores via email, asking them if you can send them a free sample or wholesale package with several samples. Follow up after sending to help make the sale.
Do you have the drive and determination to make a home business work? If you are like many people and want to be your own boss and work from home, then find something you like to do. It may sound easy, but it isn't. While passion for something is a good thing, the passion to work with it and the willingness to see it done are even better.
Be professional in advance. Get everything you need to show that you are a professional business person in advance, This includes business cards, a business phone and business email address. Make sure that all the pertinent information is printed on your business card, and when you hand one out, try to take the name of the person that you have handed it to.
If you operate a home business, make sure that you have set aside time for family and recreation as well. It is easy to let your home business take over your entire day because your workplace is your home, and there are no physical boundaries. Setting work hours at home, is a good way set boundaries. Write down a schedule for your work day and stick to it. Office hours ensure you balance work and play, rather than working 24/7. Remember that it is important to include leisure time, and schedule yourself similar to the way a standard company would. You will now still have a decent social life come the weekend.
Seek out experts in your field when you have questions. If you are nervous about calling them, send them an e-mail. It's important to be able to model someone who is a success, and people who have made themselves successful are usually willing to help beginners out. This will save you years of mistakes.
Be forthright and pragmatic with the prospects and goals you have for your home-based business. Do you offer a great product that people will always be interested in? Do you have what it takes to run an honest business?
With the knowledge you obtained in this article you should already start to feel like you have ideas and strategies you want to implement towards your business goals. Apply the knowledge you learned today and you should see success in your home business in no time. Remember, the only way you're going to see any progress is if you actually try.

Business must invest in cyber for remote work: Theta Global advisors
Since lockdown was imposed in March last year, all shops in IT park have stayed closed
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: With IT companies in Technopark here entertaining work-from-home culture since the pandemic hit, the past 10 months have been a nightmare for people running non-IT businesses inside the park. Since the lockdown was imposed in March last year, all the shops, including restaurants, in Technopark have stayed closed. The work-from-home policy adopted by the government and IT firms has hit around 50 vendors who depend on the techies for revenue.
While the government intervened and provided the vendors a three-month rent waiver from April to June last year, the Technopark authorities later asked them to either pay the pending rent or quit.“Around 50 shops, including restaurants, in Technopark depended on techies. Now, our future looks bleak,” said Tigy Tankachan, secretary, Technopark Vendors Association (TVA). “Even IT companies are promoting work from home as they are making profits and the productivity of employees is good. None is concerned about our plight,” he said.
The Group of Technology Companies (GTech), the industry body of IT and Business Process Management organisations in Kerala, has said employees can come to office after getting vaccinated. While the decision would benefit the vendors, they are unsure about an immediate turnaround in their situation. Most of the vendors are engineers and other professionals providing support services like restaurants, automatic car wash, laundromats and tailoring shops.
“We cater to several techies and our services are exclusively offered to employees in Technopark. We are fully dependent on them. We invested substantially in our ventures and are employing over 1,000 people in all the units, besides indirectly employing more than 3000 people. Though we reopened some restaurants in January, we could not make decent revenue,” Tigy said. Vineeth Sankar, a laundry shop owner in Technopark, said all the shops closed in March last year, immediately after the state government announced the lockdown.
“We immediately sent our employees home and paid them salaries for a few months. Now, we have no resources to pay them. Since our shops are inside Technopark, there is a standing instruction from authorities that we cannot cater to people outside. We are fully dependent on employees here,” said Vineeth.
The TVA filed a memorandum in January before Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, ministers Kadakampally Surendran and T M Thomas Isaac, the IT secretary and the Technopark CEO seeking exemption from rent till March. However, it is yet to get a response. IT secretary Mohammed Y Safirulla told TNIE that the requests of non-IT establishments are under the government’s consideration.
“We already gave them a six-month waiver from April 2020. They have submitted a petition now and it is under the government’s consideration,” he said. Vendors said they got only a three-month waiver.

The Death of the Heterosexual in Hollywood
By Willpower Butch
The cinema, when it stands in contrast to the fine arts of classical ages, is still ‘young.’  Though it has born witness to luminaries the likes of which the world may never see again -- French perverts, documentarians, and unforgettable screen legends such as Charles Bronson and Cameron Mitchell – in another sense, it is fair to say that the discipline has not yet found its identity. It is immature, uncertain of how it should live and what it should be, and in its brief life, it has often fallen to dark forces. In the ‘30s, the communists mutilated it with montage; in the ‘60s and ‘70s, it was corrupted by sodomites; and now it faces a new and untold onslaught from genital wizards. If, for all its glamor, the cinema has one sin, it is exposing the world’s children to graphic images of these flea market ladies and false-mustachioed villains who compose the Phallic Angst Corps.
What has always united film internationally, one picture to another – drama to comedy, eastern to western, Hollywood assembly-line epics to the budgetless circle-jerk tapes they show at Cannes -- is the enduring triumph of the heterosexual penis against his nemesis, the pansified wrist. It was this self-same heterosexual advantage which predestined the creation of narrative cinema upon him, for the dorothies could not hold a camera on their mere flutes of bones, leaving them fit only to promenade in front of the lens, bitching about Gone with the Wind and slicking each other in canola oil. And yet it was the fairies who charmed the masses with their fanged smiles and insinuating glances, with their girlish lisps and cold jealousy. If the cinema was ever to rise above the low-dangling sensibilities of these book shop radicals, to surpass even the thrill of midnight cocaine odysseys in Kerala, it needed a star who shined so brightly that the Homosexual would think it was always morning and retreat to his cave, unable to transform into an octopus by the light of the manly man’s Sun. This light was ours once – the entire world’s – but has vanished far into the west, leaving behind it only a stream of deep, sorrowful red as the Gay Transgender ascends over the dead body of Daniel Day-Lewis.
The artist, the legend, found his start in the film industry on the set of an unassuming picture called Gandhi: Holy F*ck. He made his mark as the young lieutenant who runs a stripper bar in Bombay – and sometimes performs. His star continued to rise with roles such as Johnny in the experimental documentary, My Beautiful Launderette, which exposed London’s bisexual underworld, and Christy Brown in the bio-picture My Left Foot, a film that explores foot fetishes and co-stars Quentin Tarantino. But international recognition came in 2002 when he led the ensemble cast of Martin Scorsese’s Gays of New York, a fame that he followed up with the string of roles that he is most known for, opposite his long-time collaborator, Paul Dano. Responding to a request from Manly Men! Magazine, Dano consented to speak with us about the loss of this great master of the craft.
On account of Paragon Shag’s ongoing investigation into Donald Trump’s ties to his wife, it fell to me to interview Day-Lewis’ pitiable muse. Having never encountered Paul “Hip Action” Dano in the flesh before, I was struck foremost by his cleft chin, which looks like his vagina, and which was insufficient to carry the weight of his sad mouth; this resulted in his frequent collapse into sexual cat-crawling around the company gymnasium. Having just returned from Cannes, where he was promoting his new K-Pop group, Okra, he greeted me in ethnic style. “Konnichiwa, big boy,” he groaned, sliding his horn-rimmed sunglasses to the end of his odiously lewd nose. He was wearing bright purple eye shadow. I opened the interview with a question about The Ballad of Jack and Royce, Dano’s first collaboration with his acting daddy. How had his working relationship with Day-Lewis come about? When and where had they met?
Dano laughed at the memory. “I was one of the women he attacked while he was training for Gays of New York. I’ll never forget it. I was in the market looking for just the biggest radish I could find, and suddenly there was Daniel, punching baskets of produce to the ground and shooting my girlfriends with a water pistol. They tried to duck out of the way, but I motioned to him and said, ‘If you’re going to spray in my face, you should use a larger canon than that, White Chocolate.’ That was how our friendship began.” Dano, who was wearing lace-up leather skinny pants, fidgeted with the ties above his ankle absent-mindedly. “The next thing I knew, he flew me out to talk to Rebecca [Miller], and she cast me as Baby Back-Ribbed on the spot.”
Dano continued to work at her laces as I wondered, at length, why the collaboration had lasted as long as it did. It was clear to me from our conversation that Dano, quite contrary to my expectations, was not a monster intent on poisoning the film medium with high-minded obfuscations or sexual vice, but merely an evil sorceress buffeted about on the sweaty winds of her mentor.
“I didn’t have many great ambitions then,” agreed Dano, stroking her sensual, clean-shaven legs. “I don’t know when I stopped being happy with door knobs and some Crisco, but I think it was around the time that Daniel thrashed me with his arrest warrant from The Last of the Coke and then made me sit on his rock collection.” She referred, of course, to the haunting scene in There Will Be Blood where Dano’s character, Ellie, is punished for not being able to fit her mouth around the head of Day-Lewis’ BAFTA. “That’s when everything changed for me,” she went on. “I haven’t been able to unfurrow my eyebrows since.”
By interviewing Dano for this tribute, am I ascribing her too much credit for memorializing Day-Lewis’ influence in a career that has been, hitherto, one of drifting from daddy to daddy in endless pursuit of bubblegum-flavored narcotics? Perhaps. And yet – lopsided though the favor of a manly man may be – her longtime collaborator is gone, having expired while preparing for the role of a self-feminized Siberian monarchist, and these stories are all that remain of (formerly) him. What was it that drove this legendary artist – to his pulse-quickening rise, to his stark majesty, and to his very, very, extremely bloody downfall? “It was never just about acting for Daniel,” Dano provided thoughtfully. “Anyone can act, and everyone does, whether it’s while you’re trying to sell your neighbor a pyramid scheme or when you’re pretending to be into blindfolds so you can get rented by Benedict Cumberbatch. What Daniel had that normal actors don’t was the obsessive need to one-up everyone just so that he could feel like the best.”
The spectacular manner of Day-Lewis’ death marks the end not only of a career, but of an era. We are in uncharted waters now, in a time and place where children’s programming is indistinguishable from furry erotica, where Middle America flocks to see a summer blockbuster about Batman and Superman power-fisting in Wonder She-Man’s shadow, and where the Gay has adjusted his flaccid grip on the thrust of heterosexual industry so tightly that a modern actor cannot find work unless he is willing to play naked rugby in Harvey Fierstein’s cuddle sauna. Thus, have we killed the straight man in Hollywood, and in the epoch to come, few, very few stars will be as well-mannered and capable of discerning reality from fiction as Daniel Day-Lewis.
 About the Authors
Admiral Willpower Butch, who was recently honored with the Leopold & Loeb Award for Bright Ideas, is sometimes haunted by the knowledge that there is a song called “In the Navy” about a bad singer overcoming his fear of water to sabotage the military with low-budget disco. He would like to thank the currently-unavailable correspondent Paragon Shag for his contributions to this piece, which benefited greatly from his insider knowledge of fey joints and Paul Dano’s gender confusion baby food company. Their secretary, Dead Summer Days, is nearly as crushing a disappointment to his dates as he is to the Lord.

In the mid 90s, Bill Gates released his first book, The Road Ahead, and it blew our minds. Or at least one part of it did (I never managed to read much of it). In it, Gates described the Seattle home he was then building with inlaid fiber optic cables where each room would have its own unobtrusive touchpad to control the lights, music and temperature. Best of all, as you entered a room, it’d automatically customise those elements and even wall paintings (via LCD screens) based on personal preferences, all pinged via an electronic pin everyone in the house would wear. I was reminded of that moment from a quarter century ago as I listened to a recent webinar on access to the internet in India, organised by Agami, the law and justice organisation where I work. Much of Gates’ fantastic vision has become widely available today in the form of mobile phones, smart devices and apps – all of them powered by the internet, and what he then romantically called the Information Highway. In a socially distanced landscape, addressing the 'digital ditch' is more essential than ever. Representational image from Reuters/Kacper Pempel Now in our elastically wrenching world, Gates is having another moment of prescience (as well as right-wing data hacks and conspiracy theories), this time with brighter sweaters and a thinner, papery voice. Whatever you think of him, he did baldly predict in his 2015 TED talk that “the greatest risk of global catastrophe” was not nuclear war but “most likely a highly infectious virus...not missiles but microbes”. The march of the internet into our lives, taking over every aspect and every hour, is so ubiquitous it doesn't need much emphasis or spelling out. And concurrently, neither does the fact that as more than a fifth of humanity frets under some form of lockdown and the rest practices swivel-eyed social distancing, we are all keeping up some semblance of normalcy by going online. A recent survey found that internet browsing shot up by 72 percent in the first week of lockdown in India. Online is where we are all talking and conferencing and texting, sharing parody videos, moving our money, dropping out of online courses, asking doctors about pulse oximeters, damning house cleaning bloggers, thanking recipe writers for using metric measurements, rediscovering celebrities for their shenanigans and, of course, unquenchably consuming the news and ordering more and more supplies even as we feel all Zoomed out. The new economy is not so new anymore, and it’s vital to say this aloud: Our economy is now vastly inaccessible without the internet. All the platforms, gateways and content are useless without it. Yet according to government data by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), only about half of Indians have access to the basic broadband speed of 512 Kbps or more. Last year’s IAMAI-Nielsen study found an even wider gap of only 36 percent of Indians having internet access in the first place. And only a third of them are women. This is not a digital divide anymore. This is a digital ditch. Which means, half to two-thirds of the country are in an economic ditch. Much of the high speed and reliable networks have been first laid in urban centres, and the work on Digital India programmes has not kept pace with the gradually devolving economy or the current COVID-19 crisis. Perhaps some of this slowness is due to decision makers still not quite accepting that the internet has moved this fast from being a useful luxury to an essential resource? Or is it more of a lingering bias that rural or disadvantaged Indians just don't need as much internet as people like us? Either way, the numbers tell a different story. Of all ‘regular users’ in India (who accessed the internet in the last 30 days), 40 percent are actually rural users – and that base is growing much faster than the urban one. More than 50 percent of rural customers are willing to go online to buy goods. Two thirds of all existing Indian internet users are in the 12-29 year age group, and in general this age group resides much more in rural than urban India. Data usage in rural India increased by almost 100 percent during the lockdown. And all this when rural internet penetration stands at only 27 percent (versus 51 percent in urban areas). In January, the Supreme Court declared access to the internet a fundamental right under Article 19 of the Constitution. This was in response to a plea on the internet blockade in Jammu & Kashmir since last summer’s revoking of Article 370. Since then, there has been only partial lifting of the digital ban there – only 2G speeds for postpaid mobiles while prepaid sims still have to get verified – despite mounting reports that lack of high-speed internet is hobbling the medical community and accelerating the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in the region. Justice Badar Durrez Ahmed, retired Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir, as well as Rahul Matthan, Partner at Trilegal law firm, criticised such internet shutdowns at the Agami webinar. They both cited similar metaphors comparing the internet today to essential services like water and electricity, and how authorities don’t switch them off to some citizens when convenient. Now, the internet has thankfully been deemed an essential service by the Home Ministry during the national lockdown, but there doesn’t seem much more on the government’s agenda here. “I don't think the [central] government has realised how critical this infrastructure is,” Aruna Sundararajan, former Telecom Secretary of India, said at the webinar. “I served on the COVID taskforce in Kerala and we devoted a whole chapter to seeing how to ensure internet services wouldn’t get disrupted, how there’d [actually] be a 30-40 percent increase in availability. We put in suggestions that people who normally don’t have access somehow need to be given it because they’re the ones who need it the most.” Governments and companies worldwide are hustling to ensure that their citizens remain online. Chile is offering a “solidarity plan" for affordable internet in partnership with private companies, while Thailand has granted 10 GB of free data to mobile users. Egypt has given free SIM cards to students and borne the cost of a 20 percent increase in all subscribers' monthly downloads. In the US, the telecom regulator negotiated with more than 50 major internet providers to get them to agree to suspend data and speed caps, suspend shutoffs and late fees, waive installation fees, provide free service and other schemes for low-income users and open Wi-Fi hotspots for the public. Meanwhile, the major telecom and broadband companies in India have offered some initiatives like free incoming calls to low-income users, Airtel and BSNL have provided extended mobile validity and Rs 10 talktime free, while Jio Phone users have got 100 minutes and 100 SMS free. Meanwhile, ACT Fibernet has offered free upgrades of unlimited data and 300 Mbps speed, Jio Fiber has offered free 10 Mbps connections to new users and double data to existing ones, and Jio has offered free broadband in some places. Some say that in this crisis, the Indian government needs to pitch in much more such as reduce red tape to enable telecom companies to build capacity fast, incentivise them to increase data limits and subsidise costs, and even use disaster relief funds to build public Wi-Fi zones. There were a host of other solutions proposed at the webinar as well. Sundararajan said the government must build the infrastructure for 4G access for all Indians – and pointed out that this is actually possible in just 6-12 months – as well as finish the incomplete project to lay fiber optic cables for 2.5 lakh gram panchayats. Sundararajan and Apar Gupta, Executive Director of Internet Freedom Foundation, also recommended that the pending Data Protection Bill be enacted to address cybersecurity concerns as citizens go online. Justice Ahmed suggested engaging the local Legal Services Authorities across the country to provide internet and justice access to their constituencies, while Matthan emphasised the right to broadband rather than just internet as a more realistic need today. Gupta recommended voluntary pledges by telecom companies to not disconnect connections for non-payment during this crisis, actualising a network neutrality enforcement mechanism in telecom licenses for private entities, and regulatory reform in telecom suspension rules to guard against internet shutdowns. The non-profit Jan Sahas has reported that a significant proportion of the distress calls they’re receiving are actually requests to recharge mobile phone accounts. “In the next 12-24 months we’ll have restrictions of some kind,” said Sundararajan, “and the need for internet is only going to exponentially accelerate.” We can’t meaningfully talk about justice for the offline world anymore, given its sharp marginalisation from most mainstream social, political and economic activity. The fact is that those of us in the information or service economies are not the only ones who need the internet, not anymore. For most of this century, all Indians have needed it to lead fuller and fully connected lives; the big difference in the last few years is that we now also need it to be fuller consumers. And in a landscape that promises to be socially distanced for the next one to two years, all of us need it whether we are in the organised or unorganised sector. There is the case of access to justice, and there is the case for access to a healthy life. Getting all citizens online is surely the one reliable way to unite them in following mandates for the greater good while giving them a way to access basic needs. And getting everyone online would also surely create a permanent resource to help the Indian economy leap away from the cliff it’s getting overfamiliar with.
