Before Players, there were the Gods - and before the Gods, were the Overseers. . .
Welcome to The First Three SMP! We're a brand new, 17+, modded Minecraft server ( roughly 52 mods! ) with a focus on a factions system! With 3 Overseers comes 3 Factions; each based in a different dimension. Will you follow the eldest, Jorden, through the lush and lively Overworld? Or Mellan, the middle child, through the beautifully cold void in the End? Or, perhaps the youngest, Helvete and their loyal Hellhound Vaktare, through the brutal and unforgiving Nether? With mods expanding upon each dimension (as well as some QOL stuff, too!), the world of Minecraft feels fuller than ever! Will you keep your head down and watch, or will you join your faction in whatever.. disagreements, may come? We have an overall plotline in mind (that'll be shared as it unfolds!), but with this in mind, we encourage your own character building as well!
Now, some quick bullet points, for convenience:
➽ 17+!
➽ LGBTQ+ friendly!
➽ We aim to sort you into the faction you want, but please keep in mind it's not a guarantee!
➽ Make new friends (and even enemies, in lore of course)!
➽ While fairly roleplay centric, it's absolutely not a requirement, but definitely encouraged!
➽ Events held when possible, hopefully semi-regularly!
➽ If/When accepted, you'll be invited to the Discord!
Now, last but not least, click HERE for the application form! Still have questions? Feel free to reach out to us and we'll do our best to answer! We hope to see you again soon!

A Minecraft server I love and have played on for years has new spawns! It's called Dragon's Nest
It is a very small server
Server IP mc.cybertivity.com
Discord discord.gg/szDpvja
This is the new hub/main spawn
They have a few different things to pick from:
(Green) PVE- a more peaceful survival world where you can hangout with friends and relax
(Pink Portal) PVP/Factions- a harder world where you can fight against other factions or create your own
(Yellow Portal) Plots/PlotMe- a creative world with areas to build and play around with all sorts of ideas
(Blue Portal) Minigames- where you have a handful of games to play together with friends
Things don't always work perfectly but the staff does their best to help fix any issues as soon as possible
Most of the old players have moved onto different things in life so it would be nice to get a few new people interested in playing and helping build a new community for this server

alright so:
secret life smp is the latest installment in the life series, a series of minecraft death games where everyone has three lives, and people on their last (red) life become hostile. (this series is commonly called some variation of the "traffic light/life" series as each life corresponds to a color: green, yellow, or red.) after you lose your last life, you are out of the game and your series ends.
each iteration of the life series (its official name) has a different gimmick, and secret life's is twofold: 1), instead of having the normal row of ten hearts, everyone starts with 30 hearts- however, their health does not regenerate, and 2) at the start of each session (they play for 3 hour sessions all together once per week), everyone is assigned a secret task, which they must complete. they regain hearts by completing their tasks successfully, and (usually) they don't lose anything by failing.
that's the background context
and now we get to the actual character this is about
lizzie (channel name LDShadowLady) seemed to be starting off the series generally well- she completed her first task (write a poem about someone on the server and recite it to them) pretty easily, but then basically the rest of her series was just Struggle After Struggle
it was like murphy's law. everything that couldve gone wrong for her did. for the next several sessions, she ended up just getting terrible tasks (for example, one of them was "get the entire server to sleep through the night." do you know how hard it is to get 16 adult minecraft players to do Anything).
generally, these servers split up into factions pretty quickly, and this one was no different. lizzie, though- she didn't end up in one. she was alone against the world (which, when you play minecraft with the energy of an extremely paranoid, sopping wet bichon frise (<- literally googled "most anxious dog breeds" to get the vibes for that one), is not great). the closest thing she had to an ally was her husband joel (who was 1: mainly loyal to his own faction, and 2: accidentally caused 2 out of her 3 deaths.)
during week 5, she held a slumber/birthday party at her base, and invited the entire server to come to it (this was her trying to get everyone to sleep through the night). only one person showed up (it was her husband again). she failed her task because of this, and decided to invisibly ride around the server on a skeleton horse with no armor to sulk. which ended in her death, and put her on her last life
the very next session, she tried her best to kill people (her job as a red life), and to get revenge on those who had wronged her (so, everyone). it didnt go well, and with her own bad luck, she died falling into the void
she didnt have to die. her death was a direct result of her trying to do a favor for her husband, and there were so many moments where it could've been avoided. but it wasn't. she was the first to lose her last life and get eliminated from the series
the only person to even mourn her was joel. more people celebrated her death than mourned it. and im just supposed to be Normal about that
hey what the fuck

Sometimes, I think about old minecraft worlds and servers of mine. My first one will always be special. I remember the godawful, horrid, brick monstrosity of a "skyscraper" I built. The bottom floor acted as a traditional work office. There was a fake elevator with a ladder to go up. The third or maybe fourth floor had my living space. A small kitchen plus dining, a living room, bathroom, and bedroom. I was so proud of the space. Outside, there was another building, my chicken pen. Another skyscraper-esque build, this time of plain stone. Between them laid my pack of wolves. I can't remember their names. I eventually moved, wanted to start a survival style, and kept to the same world, though.
I wasn't the brightest, moved from a wonderful forest to a barren desert. I was probably 500 blocks away from my old base, so it was probably not much of an issue, though. I built this small, one-story sandstone home. It had a small garden out front. It may be the smallest build I've ever made. It was cute and quiet. I had a dog, kept it outside, I don't think I ever made it a home, or even gave it food and water. I regret that now.
I shared a world with my sibling, too. We only had one xbox account, so we would take turns on it. I kept with the ugly skyscrapers made of brick theme, but she made a small house and an unfinished mansion. A friend sometimes played on it, too. Built an ugly house behind mine. I'll never forgive her. We built an entire town, complete with restaurants, stores, hell we even built a museum. I miss that time my sister and I spent together working.
A friend and I made a world together. She played on her phone, me on the xbox. I built this small dark oak house. She claimed it was the best build on that world. She never really had a home there, I think I built her something small, but she was happier picking flowers. Netherite came out then, I had rushed to get some for myself. Kept a hidden stash of it. I built a baked potato store, best food in the game, in my opinion. We stopped playing after that summer, she got too busy and since she wasn't there I had no one to show off to and no one to help obtain items form.
I stopped playing for a while. It was my first year of high school, and I joined the marching band and went out with friends. I thought the time would last. Freshman year came and went, got on minecraft a few times, revisited old worlds, started a new one, god that world. Goddamn ugliest acacia wood house you've ever seen. I loved that piece of shit. Sophmore year came around, and I stopped again. Covid hit. Fell back into mcyts and a job to fill the loneliness.
I bought a laptop with that money. Saved up for 5 months straight, I bought a good gaming laptop. Couldn't afford any games, though. I eventually got convinced by new friends to buy minecraft and join their realm. We shared a house the two of them built. One of them I fell in love with. We explored, slayed the ender dragon, defeated the wither, laughed, and died alongside each other. We had mines nearby. Bird and I once mined for days looking for a jungle biome and diamonds for Sun's birthday. I went insane in those mines. Sun built a villager trading hall. Bird and I started a storage room. I built a gazebo, across the pond from our spruce house. Sun was mad at first, I made it of oak instead of spruce, but they eventually thought it was beautiful. I planted flowers, azeala bushes, and those glowberry vines. Bird brought over her jukebox and a record. We brought our dogs. My dog, Tilly, named after that mcyt Pearlescent Moon's dog in the life series, was one of my pride on that server. Damn I miss her. She was a good girl. She still sits at the gazebo waiting for me. After all, life got busy, and we stopped playing.
I made some more friends. One invited me to join a server they were on. It was a factions server. We allied but kept our personal factions separate. I built a beautiful white, gray, and teal tower. They had a beautiful cottage 200 blocks away. They bullied me into fighting the ender dragon solo, as I've only fought it with friends before. We built a tavern, well I built it. The plan was to make a conjoined city together for people on the server to visit. During the building of it, another friend joined the server. We finished the tavern, added food, fake prices, and decorations. They lived in it temporarily in one of the rooms I had set up for those new to the server to start out in. Barely a week of the tavern being finished, someone took tnt and blew up portions. We were able to get it replaced, but I'll never forget that destruction. The first friend and I then started a fighting pit build. Planned to host server wide fights for entertainment. Cleared out a large area and almost finished it. The server randomly closed. All the love we put in our work was never finished.
We convinced a friend to start a server a few months later. A bunch of us from the first server and some others joined in. I built another tower, the same style as the other one, just dark grays and blacks, instead of blues and white. I shared it with a friend. I slowly started moving out. I started work on a castle, made of diorite. It's mostly done, just some walls to build for the courtyard, but it's been months since I've done work on that. I had made it far away from the rest of them, all close together. I invited them to make small bases near mine, to fill out the area, have a vacation home. Only one person ever finished theirs. I went on to my next project, The Hole. A giant underground city, below my castle.
Everyone tells me I'm not going to finish it. I'm the only one who still plays on the server constantly. I feel like this says something about me. I feel as I hold on to things too tight and don't let go. I still want to go get on the xbox and play with my sister, I want to call up my friend from middle school and show off a new, admittedly, mediocre house. I want to sit in my gazebo with Tilly and talk with my friends and go crazy in the mines again. I want to finish that fighting pit and jokingly fight with my friends and watch as they all complete the fucking stupid initiation event of fighting an ender dragon we called Jean, while the rest of us watched from our perches. I want to sit in my castle with a feast for my friends, I want to finish my build and everyone to come see it and be so proud.
It's never been about the builds. It's been about the effort, the time, the tears, and laughs. The time spent with people I care about doing the thing I love.

I am going to do a top 10 favorite video games list for no particular reason
Hello, hey. So these are games that I've greatly enjoyed past and present and appeal to my particular interests and tastes. I like games to tell stories. I don't mean a written narrative with a beginning, middle and end. What I like is what some would call "emergent storytelling", which is a pretentious name but explains adequately how I enjoy my games to be played. I want to come out of a session of a game with a memorable story to tell, or even just remember to myself.
Anyway, here's the list.
10. Minecraft
Tumblr media
Minecraft is a modern classic and the reason it's low on the list is because I enjoy it in theory way more than I do in practice. It's probably the platonic ideal of a sandbox game, full of interactible objects that can be refined into new items and materials for crafting, building, and generally just doing whatever you feel like.
And that freedom is what I enjoy about it. In the wacky block-world of Minecraft, you're able to do whatever you want. Build structures, focus solely on crafting the biggest sharpest sword ever, or just get a fishing rod and chill.
What I don't like so much is that singleplayer and the vast majority of public multiplayer servers are really bad at using this freedom to its fullest potential. There's so many possible interactions between entities and players and yet the pubs I've visited focus solely on adding artficial structure to the game, which I find uninteresting. If anyone can recommend a good Minecraft server free of unpleasant externalities, drop it on the comments or reblogs please.
9. Dwarf Fortress
Tumblr media
Dwarf Fortress is Minecraft's unhinged grandpa. I believe it has been directly cited as an inspiration for Minecraft way back in the day. It has gained some popularity over the years but I'd wager as lot of people would dismiss it as some nerd game for gatekeeping losers, but there's a genuinely cool core inside it that is the reason everyone likes it so much.
The beating heart of Dwarf Fortress is its world generation. As a traditional roguelike (as in, a game like Rogue), Dwarf Fortress will generate a whole world to your desired specifications not unlike Minecraft. Very unlike Minecraft, however, it will populate the world with factions of historical figures, beasts and other entities and then simulate the history of this realm for as long as you'd like.
This is the part that the brothers Adams, the game's creators, focus the most on, and is the reason the game has earned a spot in the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
As a player, you get to influence this world by either controlling a colony of Dwarves, playing as a custom Adventurer and questing about the land, or just reading the Legends entries to find out what has happened in the vast history you created.
The gripes I have with it are that Adventure mode, my favorite part of the game, isn't very deep or fleshed out currently. The game also suffers from a hellish type of maximalism that makes it almost impenetrable without some sort of guidance and in some cases, external software. Still, it is a crowning achievement in game design and development and is one of the best games of all time, no doubt.
8. Fallout New Vegas
Tumblr media
This is a cult classic game developed by Obsidian software under contract for Bethesda. As I understand it, Obsidian included some of the original staff of Black Isle and Interplay who worked on the OG Fallout games, which were isometric turn-based RPGs.
This is the most accessible and faithful Fallout game one can play in current year. The essence of Fallout, for me, has always been a laser focus on the player character. You never get to control your party members, though you can indirectly suggest commands that they will try their best to follow, often unsuccessfully. The game is about the dude or gal you make and play as: you get to customize how they look, what their physical and mental attributes are, and you have minute control over them down to the very words they speak, to the detriment of pretty much everything else.
Complementing that is the setting. West Coast Fallout is the most enthralling setting I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing in any medium, and it's a great playground to put your character designs to the test. You really have to commit to your character and see things from their perspective, and the world is reactive enough to reward you for doing so. OG Fallout and New Vegas are some of the smartest written games in the market and anyone who loves stories should give them a try.
7. PAYDAY 2
Tumblr media
As much as I like stories and emergent gameplay, sometimes I'm in the mood to unwind by listening to some bopping music and clicking on bad men with guns. PAYDAY 2 is a co-op shooter in the vein of Left 4 Dead, only instead of shooting crazed zombies you get to shoot crazed cops.
Despite being co-op, most of my hours on it have been spent solo and I wouldn't have it any other way. The game is full of customization options and progression systems to make the arguably repetitive gameplay loop very addicting, and the shooting and movement mechanics put a lot of games to shame to this very day.
There's no shame in enjoying a good old heist and shootout every now and then. I'm not above that.
6. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly
Tumblr media
Anomaly for me is the perfect STALKER game. In case you are not aware, STALKER is a series revolving around the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, or simply "Zone" for short, in some kind of alternate reality where the incident at Chernobyl was either caused by or resulted in supernatural happenings, known as Anomalies.
As far as I remember, the mainline STALKER games never captured my imagination too much because of their linear progression. STALKER Anomaly remedies this by opening up the world of both Shadow of Chernobyl and Clear Skies and levying the complete potential of the A-Life system.
It reminds me a lot of Dwarf Fortress, in that it is a sandbox game with a deep simulation layer and emergent actors going about their day dynamically in a scale as large as could be reasonably expected of video game software. It doesn't fall into the trap that so many survival games do where the survival challenge takes place in an empty lifeless world that is very, very boring. The world of STALKER Anomaly is full of life, conflict, humor and terror.
5. XCOM 2
Tumblr media
I have a complicated relationship with XCOM 2. It's easily my favorite XCOM game due to the sheer level of character customization, from picking how your dudes look to giving them names and bios and then getting to watch them die horribly on the hands of some alien monster. This contrast is very deliberate: the game wants you to get attached to your soldiers to raise the stakes and generate tension.
The strategy is great, with deep combat that is rewarding to learn and a less deep but serviceable micromanaging minigame aboard your base of operations. The thing I don't like about this game is that the high difficulty and the punishing nature of failure make it a very stressful game to play.
When things are going your way, it provides the highest highs. When your squad gets wiped and takes your precious soldiers with it, you're dragged to the lowest lows. It's an intense experience but by no means a boring one.
4. Wildermyth
Tumblr media
Wildermyth is the most slept-on game I've ever seen on the market. The best way I can describe it is it's a fantasy-themed strategy RPG with a choose-your-own-adventure storytelling format, but that description doesn't really do it justice.
Wildermyth greatly rewards imagination and creativity. The main feature of the game is being able to import your custom heroes from previous campaigns into later ones as supporting party members or even main characters. And this isn't some token feature made for you to look at your dudes and say "Yeah that's them". The procedural nature of the storytelling means that your characters can interact. They can cause trouble and build relationships, get wounded and even die, all with explicit acknowledgement from the game.
It's a story generator that doesn't skip on telling the story. The little event popups are well written, with lots of attention to detail and variations depending on the relationships and personalities of the characters involved. It's a game I'd easily recommend to anyone who enjoys creating characters and stories or even just strategy games in general, although admittedly the depth of the combat is a bit on the lighter side.
3. Devil May Cry 3
Tumblr media
DMC3 is the perfect action game. DMC5 comes close but 3 for me clutches it because it's a lot more focused. Over the years the series has added increasing complexity which raised the skill ceiling far above what most people could possibly ever reach. There is exactly one person on Youtube I'm aware of who can be said to have completely mastered these games and watching them play is a sight to behold. Look up donguri if you'd like to see what that looks like.
As for me, I prefer the simplicity of the third game. It doesn't give you so many options that not using them just feels like playing the game wrong, it wants you to get good on your own terms and greatly rewards your investment in mastering its combat. There's nothing quite like playing a game and just feeling how well you're doing, how easily you can breeze through previously hard challenges.
Few games have motivated me to try and completely master them, but DMC3 manages it and does so in a way that's entertaining and fun throughout.
2. Titanfall 2
Tumblr media
Titanfall 2 is the DMC3 of multiplayer shooters. A lot of people dismissed Titanfall back when it first came out and those people are fools. These games are sick.
I know the selling point is piloting big robots but I can't stress enough that for me, that's secondary. It's all about the Pilot gameplay outside of the robot. The movement tech in this game is insane and the difference between how a seasoned player moves around is night and day compared to a new or inexperienced player.
I've seen a lot of people say that the purest skill based multiplayer shooter is Quake. Maybe that's true, but Quake is also a very static experience. Titanfall 2 proves that you can have highly skilled competition without skipping out on customization and self expression.
The satisfaction of mastering a game goes double when you're up against people who have the potential to be just as skilled as you are. It's the whole reason multiplayer games endure despite being sometimes more repetitive than their singleplayer counterparts. Competition is fun and motivates people to get even better and practice their game harder. It's a great feedback loop of deep enjoyment.
1. The Sims 4
Tumblr media
So why would I put what is considered by many the worst Sims game at the top of this list? It's going against some pretty heavyweight games here. Well, hear me out.
I believe this is the pinnacle of life-sim "cozy" games. I never got into Animal Crossing because to me, the characters feel lifeless. The complaining about New Horizons' NPCs always rung a little hollow to me because in my opinion they feel exactly as boring as all the villagers in any other game.
Sims has always been more interesting to me in no small part due to customization of your characters, but also because they interact in ways that are fundamentally more interesting. They can fight, become friends with each other, engage in romances and these relationship stages can seamlessly progress from one to another.
It's like having your own little TV show that you can watch daily. And on top of that, Sims 4 in specific is the most stable version of the game by far.
Going back to Sims 2, it has eccentricities I don't really like. Aging is so fast, and time works in a bizarre way that takes me out of the experience, with only the playable household being able to age. Sims 3 doesn't run well no matter what I do to it, and it's not very friendly to rotational play, which is something I enjoy doing.
Sims 4 is arguably shallower than its counterparts but the fact that it's so frictionless is enough to put it head and shoulders above the rest. The graphics looking very nice doesn't hurt either. I've played it for over 1000 hours and I probably will continue to do so.
It's a very relaxing game that makes me feel at ease, as a very anxious person. I love it and I can't thanks Maxis enough for what they have created.

HIIII HI HI IM OFFICIALLY CAUGHT UP ON DREAMSTUCK AGAIN HELL YES. GOOD SHIT. ok now bc it is on my mind. i am DYING to know ur classpect thoughts on judt. everybody. handing u a free pass to ramble. u dont have to do all of them bc thats a lot but if u have favorites 👁👁 i am looking
OUGGOHIGIG WELLLL IF U INSIST
ok ok. jack. motherfucking manifold. likeeee cjack drives me insane i hope u know that idk what crack he put into his silly little minecraft rp character but it drives me insane. pages lack their own aspect/concepts related to their aspect right. cjack died so many times but it just NEVER STICKS. he wicks it off like its nothing. he’s miserable yes but nothing will ever give him the relief of dying. ds!jack is going to suffer that same fate. “Those bound to the aspect of Doom are fate's chosen sufferers. At their worst, they are bitter, resentful, and fatalistic.” CAN YOU HEAR MEEEEE!!! I’m so going to lean into the “Fate’s chosen sufferer” thing later on in the story. it’s killing me. cursed to keep living no matter what happens, even if death would be preferable. yeagh
also ummm. witch of breath hannah. channah has had her autonomy taken from her by the egg, by her wings burning and leaving her ground-bound, and breath is all about freedom. i want her to take it back yk. i want her to snatch her freedom from the universe and be able to DO THINGS. ds!hannah is going to be pushed and pulled in a thousand different directions until she snaps. the hand that feeds her is also the one that hits her and she’s going to bite it. i want her to go fucking feral
KNIGHT OF HOPE CPUFFY. HELLO. do u remember is dsmp when eret decided to make a faction against the egg and named it the knights of hope and puffy was one of them. puffy also used to be one of eret’s knights way back in the beginning as well LIKEEE. shes constantly trying to protect people she’s defensive she helps people she pours her entire being into the things she cares about. she’s so knight coded. there’s no other class for her i think. also the fact that it’s always eret who she’s the knight of. something something the unbreakable relationship between the space player and the knight who helped breed the genesis frog and the universe being built from their two hands etc etc. also remember her during the banquet after cfoolish was killed. i think if cpuffy had been allowed to shine during lore more like that she could have either fucked shit up or maybe fixed the entire server ngl. she’s THAT powerful i think. genuinely. she was so determined to make things better and if she’d been allowed to she could have gone down two paths: knocked some sense into everyone and rallied them all against a common enemy (cdream) and gotten rid of the biggest problem on the server, or snapped and set off the nukes herself in a wave of unbridled frustration. a knight of hope is a very powerful thing yk. and if cpuffy couldn’t reach her full potential in dsmp then BY GOD I WILL MAKE IT HAPPEN IN DREAMSTUCK.
i feel like it would b a crime if i didn’t talk about. cWilbur. my little prospit dreamer destructive heart player meow meow <3 like u know how he is. he hates himself more than anything. he’s obsessed with himself. he knows he made something beautiful and amazing but also he thinks every single problem ever is his fault. he can’t stand himself. he regrets everything he’s ever done but if he did things differently maybe he wouldn’t be the same person he is now and that thought both elates him and terrifies him. dirk imploded with self hatred, and wilbur EXPLODES with it. he destroys other things with the contradicting force of his own identity. he dies and comes back RIGHT. but also wrong. very wrong. but it’s also the best he’s felt in decades. yk. he’s a walking juxtaposition and that’s so incredibly heart player of him.
ok ok this is getting long so i’m going 2 leave it at them for now. honourable mentions for classpects that drive me crazy go to: csam thief of heart, which makes me want to gnaw on plywood; ctechno prince of rage, because AUGH AIOAUBAIGH AISHkgGHH HRGHNGBGNNHN; cbad prince of blood, because oh my god. ohhhh my goD oh my god; and cponk sylph of mind, because urnghnghn *sounds of me chewing on styrofoam*

CALL ME TMI THE WAY I SHARE INFO NO ONE ASKED FOR
When I was much younger, probably when I was in year 6 or 7 I joined a discord centered around Minecraft ocs, It was my first real experience in “fandom” and I met so many wonderful people on that server, I doubt they knew my exact age but could guess I was young and I’m forever thankful for how much grace they gave me despite all the “cringy” things I did, it was so fun being able to talk about O.C’s and the members of the discord encouraged me in my pixel art journey. Alongside this it was where I learnt what being nonbinary was! This moment of self discovery certainly helped accept myself quicker then I would have otherwise. There were a few secret santa events I participated in and in kind received some amazing art - which I still have saved - from the friends I had made there!
During that time I joined a few other discord servers, one about the show “epithet erased” where I made one of first truly original characters alongside meeting some wonderful people, we rambled on for hours about the stories we would make and how cool our roleplays where! The other server I had joined was centred around an original project where genres of stories were personified and where trapped in a murder mystery, from what I remembered the story was amazing and the sense of community I had at that time was unmatched.
Aside from discord I played on quite a few minecraft servers, notable one’s including brokenlens and mineplex - sadly both have closed - I made so many friends on brokenlens one in particular became my best friend at that time I still remember how fun it was to go onto all sorts of mini games - they were always better at pvp then me - complaining about school sharing art… they made a few drawings of my persona at the time and I still have them saved. Once, I told her my birthday and she built an entire minecraft world for me to celebrate in.. it's still one of the most heartfelt gestures I’ve ever received. One of the funnest things to do back then was on one of the older lobbies maps on broken lens, you could fall through a hole and make it under the map, it was one of the coolest places to be as a child
I can't recall all the usernames of the people I played with on brokenlens but my username was something like “The Snatcher” as I was obsessed with “ A hat in time” back then.
On a different server which was much more geared towards roleplay I had met a group of people who all roleplayed together frequently and it was great! We would show off our builds to each other and help each other with whatever we were up to.
One particular server I played when I was much younger where I remember making many cringe moments was one that started life out as a skyblock server, before shifting to a factions server before becoming a prison server before its closure, I was not the nicest player to be friends with at that time, and I am forever sorry for all the people who met me atthat time I was truly insufferable.
In terms of player made world, I remember a player whos skin had blue hair invited me to their personal realm, I flexed my newly learnt knowledge of minecraft banners in an attempt to look cool as you do, and they had made a massive hotel which for some reason was in a giant cube of water.
Apart from discord and minecraft I also played murder mysterys, hide and seek, meep city and pokemon brick bronze on roblox religiously I have much fainter memories of this with only the feeling of happiness being clear
I remember my time on deviant art much clearer, It was when the “eclipse” branding was brand new, prior to the AI scandals, I posted a lot of kirby gijinkas and a hat in time art, I followed some amazing artists during those days, some of which I still follow on tumblr.
On the topic of artists I followed I used to be on the social media attached to the game called “Soul Knight” - KTplay which I have just found out has closed down - I was pretty immature - often tracing on that account - despite that I managed to become mutuals with some amazing artists and writers who posted at that time - around 2018 - I managed to follow a few of these artists on deviant art but I am sad to say I’m unsure where the rest of the people I admired have ended up.
My usernames for that time were always something like “MissMischeviouz” or “Miss the artist” . I remember meeting so many people I would play alongside once and never see again alongside the ones I built solid friendships with and I treasure you all to this day.
I miss these times but I wouldn't trade those memories for the world. When the pandemic hit I had a bout of insecurity and decided to leave my old discord account behind alongside the communities I had joined, there are so many wonderful memories on that account - called “localbandit” - having long since been deleted.
I half remember some of the names of the people I was friends with and I wish them the very best, I hope we can meet again in the future in a different time and place and if we don’t I’d like to thank them for being some of the best parts of my life, not to be sappy but I loved you guys
