so i read Crave: Brawlers 1 by J.M. Dabney

is it good? not especially.

did i cry from an emotional scene? yes

i enjoyed the book.

the characters are dealing with real traumas and they pull on your heart. they all have flaws (thats the point) and i saw myself or family in the characters. not that they are written well or talk like real people.

best part of the book:

i like the characters and the family they have.

not favorite parts:

- a character named Psycho being obviously Neruodiverse/on the spectrum. and everyone is afraid of him.

- dialouge is a mess. there are no indicators of who is saying what. i had to reread all dialouge to sort out who said what.

it took me like 4hrs. i read it on scribed which i pay for.

it definately was a fun little read.

- whenever they wanted to play dress up, the man would argue with two five year olds happily oblige and put on a custom made princess dress that you had bought him.

- his kids were big deku fans growing up and everytime he was forced to buy merchandise he would secretly grind his teeth and grip the shopping cart handle just a little harder.

- he ended up having to take them to meet deku and he was ticked off the whole time, but still took and framed the photo of his two little girls that were as happy as they could be.

- imagine how annoyed he was when dyna came home talking about this boy she had met at ua, an electric type.

Thoughts on remus getting with reg after The Prank to get back at Sirius but slowly falling in move with him

Now this is interesting I’ve kinda thought about this before, like idk how confident Remus would be in doing it but at the same time but if he WAS upset about the prank and he knew reg maybe?? V drama filled (I hate hurting Sirius tho haha) but I can imagine him just asking reg in the library to do it because his brother hurt him in some way—he doesn’t reveal the werewolf thing yet—and at first reg says no, I’m not gonna do that, but then he sees how miserable Remus is and that he doesn’t hang out with his friends and he’s like Jfc fine we’ll do this for a month then go make up with him and GOD does it infuriate Sirius ( this is a world without death eaters and Voldemort because I don’t like writing them so reg isn’t one lmao fight me ) and the day they walk through the hall holding hands Sirius nearly sets something on fire. And then they start being study buddies bevause reg realises how smart Remus is and he’s nice and quiet but then Remus is like reg isn’t so bad, he’s kinda like Sirius in a weird way just an emo, sad boy version, and then Remus finds him in the astronomy tower and he asks him about the stars because Sirius always hated talking about his family name but reg goes into detail. But when the full moon comes Remus runs off from reg and he tries to find him and finds the shrieking shack, which is where the others in their animagus form are—still protecting their boy—and Sirius and reg fight outside bevause reg was never supposed to see this and ‘clearly he doesn’t trust you if he hasn’t told you’ and when Remus does admit to it regulus tells him he thinks werewolves are incredible and tends to his cuts and Remus kinda sees him for the first time and he kissed him and regulus gets BRIGHT RED he’s never been kissed before but god he dreams and thinks about it for days until he drags Remus into a stairwell to kiss him again I love this concept

When the students heard Mina's cousin is joining 1-A they didn't think anything about it. Until they saw a Pink haired male with cat ears and a tail. Not only that, but his red eyes were familiar. While the guy was adorable to many. Apparently he was already dating.

They were informed quickly of that as the first thing the male did upon eating the classroom was-"Suki!" The feline immediately ran to the bakusquad and curled into Bakugo's side. Everyone expect him to push the male away but he didn't. Instead he pulled the male closer and kissed his head. Which made the other males in the bakusquad whine.

"Hey! (Name) why not come to us for cuddles?!" Kaminari whined and trying pulling him away. Only to get an explosion to the face. (Name) had squealed and smacked Bakugos chest. "Suki! No! What have we talking about using your quirk to his face!"

(Name) quickly scrambled to the floor checking on the poor male. "Denki? Denki love can you hear me? Hana! I think Suki knocked Denki out again." Hana? The students watched Sero walk to the duo on the floor. "Well he knows better to mess with Katsuki when he's cuddling you."

The student were extremely confused. They watched Kirishima walk up to Bakugo. "Kat man. You gotta stop doing that. Your gonna make (Name) cry again. Then Mina is gonna kill us. You know how protective she is dude!" The bakusquad males shivered and looked in the females direction and were met with narrowed eye.

Honestly Bakugo might've forgotten about that...(Name) whimpered and his ears drooped. "Was it my fault? I was just cold and Suki's quirk makes his hands really warm..." Mina glared at the males and made a "I'm watching you" hand signal at them. She crouched down pet (Name)'s head. Scratching at his favorite spot.

"No (Name) its not your fault. Your boyfriends are just easily jealous. Especially Bakugo. Okay? I'll help you take Kaminari to the nurses office." (Name) purred slightly and nodded. "Okay Ash!" He stood up gave the males(who quickly hid from Mina's glare) a quick kiss. "Alright I'll be back boys. Please behave. Eiji your in charge!"

Bakugo yelled out wanting to know why he wasn't in charge and (Name) replied "Well Eiji's quirk is better against yours so if I'm not here he can best handle you when your angry." That confused the students even more. What could he do?

When the duo tried to leave the door opened revealing their Sensei. "Oh! Morning Papa!" PAPA?! Everyone but the bakusquads mouth dropped. "P-Papa? Wait so that means-" Aizawa smiled softly and rubbed (Name)'s head. "Morning kit. What's going on?"

(Name) huffed and showed him the unconscious Kaminari on his back. "Denki got jealous that I was cuddling Suki again. I got cold so I thought I'd cuddle with Suki bevause-" Aizawa sighed heavily. "Bakugo's quirk makes his hands warm. Yes I know."

(Name) nodded. "So when Denki tried pulling me away it upset Suki." Aizawa didn't need to know the rest. "Bakugo used his quirk on Denki knocking him out." When he got a nod in return he sighed even louder. He pinched the bridge of his nose and waved the pink haired dou off. "Alright but to the nurses office then straight back."

The dou nodded and quickly left while Aizawa turned to the class, glaring at the trio of male who looked like they wanted to be anywhere but there. "Don't think I didn't see his tail. Why do you always upset him. Especially so early in the morning."

The bakusquads punishment for upset (Name) had been extra cruel training. It was then the student made a rule of their own for the classroom. Don't upset (Name). Or they'd face the wrath of not only an upset Mina, but an angry Dadzawa.

You felt so handsome with your "girliest" outifts from your closet, and it was like this. A lot of people respected you the way you were, but you couldn't help but feel uncomfortable for some commentaries about your clothes, "you identify yourself as a man but dress like a girl? You are just confused" is that you most hear from their mouth, when you don't asked their opinion at all.

But you feel uncomfortable, who wouldn't? Feeling guilty, suddenly feeling ugly and not yourself anymore. You didn't want nothing but stay in your room, just listening songs, just doing whatever you needed to forget all their words. You didn't even want your boyfriend there.

Shigaraki was busy with his plans, and you would feel guilty for opening up about this. He was already busy; it would just add more weight to his burden, wouldn't it?

Shit, you were thinking too much. These weren't just simple words from people you didn't want to hear; they brought up a whole history that you had decided to hide and just live in peace, comfortably.

Shigaraki missed you, you weren't even replying him back, he was worried, on his way, but he was. Telling you that he was on his way to your apartment, but you didn't see the message, you were just looking at the mirror, trying to find something interesting on you. And crying.

Well, it was in that state that Shigaraki found you. Crying and refusing yourself to look at the mirror again.

"Hey, M/n...?" He looked at you, raising an eyebrow and getting closer to you

"M/n...come here" His voice was harsh but soft and calm, he carefully puts you on his arm, without touching you more than 2 fingers each hand, he was being extremely carefully bevause of his quirk.

You didn't know what to say, you had nothing to say, just hugged him like it was the last time, crying with your head buried on his pale neck. He squeezed softly your body on a hug too, carefully as always.

Some minutes more and you were catching your breath and the tears were no longer coming out, you calmed down and your head slowly returned to face the villain, your villain.

"Better?" He still had his calm but hoarse voice that you love so much. You couldn't help but smile before replying when listen to his voice and him being soft.

"I am. Thanks, Shiggy" You look at his red vivid eyes

"Do not" He squinted his eyes in disapproval at the nickname. You would never give up calling him that or the other nicknames you had for him.

You just laughed and went to silence for some seconds, looking at him, and going straight and softly to his mouth. Giving Shigaraki a sloppy kiss, finishing with some pecks and smiles.

This just calmed your whole soul from whatever you were thinking about yourself.

"You wanna about the state I found you?"

He looked at you, ready for listening whatever you wanted to tell him. You decide to open up yourself, he was your boyfriend at all.

You sigh amount of times while tell him about the whole situation, how this sometimes just hurts you inside. He listens carefully and with his full attention to you.

"You know you don't have to hide anything about this from me. I would shut them up in my own way. You know that." You laughed at his violent way to dealing with things.

"I know, I know" You smiled

"And you look... Gorgeous with the outfits you choose. You are really stylish, and you know isn't only me that thinks that about your style. M/n, you will always be respected on L.o.V regardless of the way you want to dress." Shigaraki just had so much struggles to look at you, but his words were honest, you knew that.

You cried so much that you wanted to right now, but couldn't, so you just smiled ear to ear and hugged him, your arms on his neck. His time to buries his head on your neck.

"I love you" You said on his ear. And you could hear an "I love you too" very lower, but you could hear.

You frown slightly which made the man taken aback. "Oh...are you telling me...never mind" you said as you avert your gaze for a few seconds before turning back to the man. 'Is he telling me I had bad taste in books?' you thought. Seeming to notice your silence the guys asked. "Did...I say something wrong?"

"...umm do you meant that in a bad way or like??" You asked.

The man took a second only to realize what he said earlier. He probably had offended you accidentally considering your also a book lover. "Oh no I'm sorry...I meant it in a good way...that book was actually nice to read while relaxing, I was just surprised to see someone also interested, since whenever I came here no one really looked at that book." He explained. Usually people take his compliment but you...thought it was an insult? Sure maybe bevause of his wordings and all but... People still usually assume its a compliment or sometimes they just dont ask about it.

Ever since that encounter you two usually met coincidentally there at that book shop and sometimes at the café across from that book store.

Of course with those encounters you two exchange a word or two that extends to conversations that extends for quite some time. So at the end of the day you two got to know each other.

Your time with Vyn only grows and he got to know you. He got to realize about your sensitivity for words at your first meeting.  So he make sure that he watch his words much more carefully so he won't accidentally offend you like last time. He also realized your sensitivity for loud noises.

That happened when he invited you to catch up after not meeting each other after a busy week. Vyn invited you to catch up in the usual café you two always meet up.

As usual you also met up at the same time as always. But you noticed, lots of people starts to pack up the café. Like every once in a while you would hear the bell meaning some new people just entered. Then you realized then. "Is it holiday today?" You asked Vyn as you put down your drink.

"I think so..." He said as he looked down and took his phone that is on the table. He opened his calendar and looked to see if it is holiday or something.

He looked up after confirming. "It is holiday" he said as he smiled. "Oh...this café must be really famous" you said as you drink again.

Vyn nods. "Even if it weekday it doesn't have much people but I didn't expect to see this many now that its holiday." He said as he looked around.

"Mhm" you hummed trying to calm yourself down since its starting to get loud by people's chattering.

Vyn who looked back noticed how quiet and how you look uncomfortable. Not to mention the urge for you to cover your ears. (He could see by your body language) After gathering his thoughts he asked. "Hmm its getting a bit hot here too, do you want to go somewhere peaceful and have some fresh air (name)?"

You who was looking down the entire time to calm yourself looked up at the mention of leaving the once peaceful café. You immediately nod and so Vyn stands up as he extends his hand to you.

You took his hand out as you two left the café and goes to a park where its just you two. You sat down at the vacant swing as he too sat down next to yours.

He glanced at you checking if you starts to calm down. "Are you alright?" He asked. You looked at him and smiled softly. "Yeah thanks for offering to leave"

He shook his head. "No problem. Though I'm sorry for not noticing immediately that you dont like noisy places"

"No no I should be the one saying sorry....we were having a good time but had to stop because of..me" you looked down as you said that. "My fault too for not bringing my earphones"

"You should not blame yourself (name), besides I was also about to offer to leave the café because it was getting hot there and so we could also watch the sunset here" Vyn said as he smiled to reassure you and sure enough you smiled back.

"Thank you..." You said as you looked at the view in front of you. "You're welcome, you should tell me next time if you got uncomfortable too" he said as he also looked in front.

After that day, he made sure to bring extra earphones just in case it became too loud for your liking. And considering your comfort Vyn started to invite you to his home to just relax while listening to his collection of classical musics, have tea, read, bake or anything else because at least there its just you two and peaceful for you.

It doesn't mean that you two won't hangout anymore to other places, you two would still do that. He would let you choose the places you like to go to and when its his turn to pick he would search/research about some places where its quiet, where there is no much people. 

You notice how caring Vyn is, how he watch his words (even though you two became comfortable with each other and even though he made a mistake or two you completely understand since you know he mean no harm). Vyn also doesn't judge you like how people would normally do instead he helped you.

He also doesn't push you to get over the things your sensitive at instead he told you its alright to just be you, since he would be there no matter what. There always at your side but if you want to actually do it he would tell you to do it at a slow pace or a pace were you are comfortable.

Vyn is literally there that helped you through it all and most importantly he helped you to be at peace with yourself. Because of how calm Vyn is, you got affected that you also starts to be calm too (with his help of course).

When in the past you hated who you are and your sensitivity. Vyn...vyn loved who you were and guided you. In the end he is also the reason you start to accept yourself, love yourself, and starts to be a new person.
