Took me a long time, but here it is - Rapture from Bioshock on a slice of jade for @xxkyuubimonxx . It was a painstaking work, but it helped taking my mind off the war's "anniversary"
My drawings of all the Vigors from Bioshock Infinite! (Plus the 3 “Drinkable Plasmids” from Burial at Sea)
I’m so excited with how these came out, they’re definitely my favorite set so far. I was really excited to list these in my shop - Hope there’s still Bioshock fans out there :D
There has always been something so funny ab the Swarm of Insects Plasmid....
"Who in Rapture was going "Yessss Release the bees o them."????? Why was it popular enough to get multiple iterations. Are the bees a hivemind of adam creatures??? huh???
Just Fontaine seeing Tenenbaum dissociating in front of him and thinking: "she looks AWFUL. I should bone her. I bet that would make her feel better. She keeps rejecting me tho. WHICH DOESN'T BOTHER ME AT ALL (blatant lie)"
Wanted to draw Jasmine as she is described in the novel by John Shirley (amazonian, curvy, voluptuous are a few descriptors used) and had some fun drawing her dream of performing as a singer and designed a show girl and burlesque style outfit that felt fitting for the vibes of Rapture
Revisiting one of my earliest hyper-fixations ayo-
I’m slowly getting back into art after so long, god damn. I hope to make more Bioshock pieces like this in the future, this piece was so fun to make! I also want to remake my character sheets (and make some) for my Artfight profile. So let’s just say I’m booked🤠
Here's a snippet from the fic I've been working on instead of the one with an actual deadline... DinLuke Bioshock AU. I posted this in the Star Dads server already, but I wanted to share it with y'all as well.
Luke stirs a little as Din slides under the blanket with him. “…Time’s it?”
“Late. Or early, I guess. Go back to sleep, it’s okay.”
“No no, I’m alright. How was your shift?”
Din sighs and pulls his husband close to his chest, burying his nose in soft, blond hair. If he could, he’d stay right here in this little bubble of peace forever, but he knows he needs to talk about the changing tides. After the minute or so he allows himself to decompress, he says, “There’s something coming, Luke. Ryan was there again.”
“I sorta figured he might be. Jasmine was performing.” Luke rubs little soothing circles over the small of Din’s back. “Having his favor is sort of her schtick anymore.”
“Mm. But this time, one of Fontaine’s guys was there too.”
“What?” Luke pulls back slightly to look at Din. “Are you sure? They never come on the same nights, not with all the bad blood between ‘em.”
“I’m positive. He works at the fisheries. Crate inspector.”
“I see…”
“Yeah. Pretty sure he didn’t spare the dancers a single glance. He was staring straight at Andrew Ryan the whole goddamn time.”
“What do you think they’re after?”
Din shrugs one shoulder. “Information probably.”
Luke nods and snuggles closer again. Silence falls over them, and Din closes his eyes to take in the sound of his husband’s gentle breathing. Against his shoulder, he feels Luke tap out a familiar rhythm.

Love you.
Din kisses the top of his head and taps it back to him against his hip. He hesitates a moment before adding another phrase. Need to leave.
Go where.
Surface.
Luke sucks in a breath. He lays his hand flat, effectively ending the conversation. The rest of it sits heavy in the warm air between them, unspoken but still so clear- no one ever leaves Rapture.
Bioshock will always be my favorite game, till the end of time. The series of a whole is something I will continue to read about and re-play for years and years.
