A mama ruby-throated hummingbird (Archilochus colubris) feeding her babies! Their nests couldn’t be any more enchanting—the daintiest cup of grass, gossamer threads, and caterpillar silk, lined with dandelion down. Oftentimes the outside is camouflaged with sequin-sized bits of lichen and scales from plant buds.

I love birds sooo much especially the ones no one else likes. I love the birds that steal ur fries and scavange dumpsters for food. I love the birds that don't have pretty patterns or colors so they don't get treated with respect and admiration. They are so soft and beautiful I love them soo. I wish someone could help me get out more so that I could feed allllllll of the birds. Love all of the birds if ur a bird discriminator then leave instantly.

Once cried as I held a dying baby bird in my hands. It had been attacked by other birds and left in a bush to die. All I could do was apologise to the little bird, oh how I loved them so. My dad got mad at me cause the bird could have carried desieses but I didn't regret a thing. That little bird got pets and gentle words of apologies before it died. Oh how I loved it so :(
