is there anywhere good to see BJD news and updates? i've been using a discord chat but the crowd there post triggering comments at the same time, i can't block them without also blocking the release info links 😭 i see some posts on D0A but its not that active, plus i heard stores like bjd1vas got banned and can't post there so i'm worried there are other doll companys and artists that can't put updates there...

Sorry for the weird lighting lol.

Tried the Disney ILY 4ever clothes on Evie and she looks pretty great in them! The pink top was very loose, so i quickly took it in (shortened straps, took in back, added darts in front. Took 10 minutes tops) and now it's perfect. The pants look awesome, but like the MH bottoms, she can't sit in them while it's closed.

The second outfit was perfect as is tho, and bonus, she can sit in the skirt!

For reference, her body is the large bust Xagadoll 26cm heart body and fits most blythe clothes, some Rainbow High, and some of the G3 MH (the bigger bodies like Draculaura)

a small stone troll. this prototype is printed with a fairly rough setting, but i think the printing texture being so visible adds some character in this case. regardless, sale versions of The Boi will be smoother.

this is a collaboration with my partner; they did a sketch for the kind of body type they wanted, and i embellished it into a rock creature. the background skull is an older piece i made, to memorialize a retired tabletop rp character or theirs.

Wanted to do a lil crossover between my bjd doll and most of the papercrafts I have designed lately! She, starchild, was one of the very first projects I worked on regarding figurine-modeling since 2 years ago approximately. She has so many friends (and frienemies) now!

And on another note I feel very proud of what I’ve accomplished so far. I never could’ve imagined to end up making all of these fellas in a short period of time, or doing all of this papercraft series thing at all! Papercrafts were a whole new opportunity for me to make figurines without taking much time and also be able to share them with other people. I’ll surely continue working with them alongside my other projects that of course include modeling bjds too (and many other cool stuff ;]). Thanks for all the kind comments on my papercrafts and thanks to the people who have built them as well, love to see people have their blorbos accompanying them irl! 💕

I think this is the first I've posted this on here, but I'm working on a were-Violet ball-jointed doll. I'm at the stage where I'm putting spheres in... they will be smoothed later and hopefully, mostly obscured by fur and texture and good luck

I'm really excited to keep working on her though. She'll be my next-next doll release (so, after Harold), and I hope to do 1/3 scale. I also want to do a masc version after that point (Lucian).

Oh guys she's SO pretty 😭😭😭 She's amazing. I love her so much. I thought I understood the appeal of BJDs before I held her but actually I had NO idea. I just adore her, I want to dress her up and carry her around with me everywhere.

One thing I wasn't expecting is that she's HEAVY!! She feels so solid and nice to hold!! And also she stands up really nicely on her own, which is always something that amazes me about BJDs.

I'm so excited to do her faceup :') I don't know how I'm going to decide on what it should look like....

My boy is finally finished!! I HATE sewing so I bought the dress from Ropitaskawaii on etsy (here)! It's made for a different doll type so it's a bit big for yugi, but it's very cute <3

A few more photos! It's my first bjd, the movement is quite restricted, reminds me of those wooden art mannequins that are kind of unusable. It was a bit challenging but next time I will make better balljoints! Just you wait!

And here is the full body! I actually lost his left hand which was the prettier one... His arm ended up a bit longer because of it, but I was too lazy to make a third hand..........
