this is probably a hot take but presenting rin as though he’s never done anything wrong is honesty discrediting his character arc and the narrative parallel between him and yukio (especially if you’re also saying yukio is a bad person/irredeemable). The twins often act out in response to their trauma that they never learned how to deal with in a healthy manner. It's not a behaviour specific to one twin or the other (IE rin lashing out at bon in the kyoto arc). The entire point, I would say, is that neither one of the two is perfect. Both see each other as better than themselves. A major plot point in the story occurs when they're both telling each other some iteration of "Unlike me, you're perfect." They are both flawed and have both made mistakes (which. a major theme of the story is that while the past cannot be undone, what happens in the future is up to people of the present) but can live on in spite of regrets they have and try to improve things from here on out.
