trying out some minor changes to gatsby's design. Im not quite settled on some features but generally i want him to have a softer fame and frame. i want him to have blonde/light brown curly hair, but it blends in with his skin too much i feel, so i still am working that out.

To all the super villains out there,

I don’t understand the idea or thought process that goes into plan that involves murdering a superhero.

Like I’m sorry, you want to kill somebody who’s closest friends are most likely other hero’s with god like ability’s

A few examples:

• When Jason Todd was murdered Batman had put the joker in a full body cast for months that “man” pummeled his ass to Arkham and back

• When impulse had died Wally turned his murder into a living statue which, in my opinion, is worse than death

• Back to the joker but when Nightwing believed the Joker had killed Tim he, in a fit of rage, beat that fucker until he flat out died

• saved my favorite for last when Nightwing got shot in the head by KGBeast no only did Batman pummel him so bad he was left immobile and unable to move in the frozen wasteland of Russia, but when he ran into the batgirls (Stephanie and Cass) he got his ass beat. When Wally ran into him he very also got to kick his ass mentioning that there is a long line of superheroes waiting to do the same thing.

I know that the last two didn’t result in death but they were believed to be dead or were attempted murders. Also I’m sure there are many more examples but moral of the story don’t try to kill people with Friends/Family who are powerful enough to stop world ending levels events.

I like Tim having a bird themed name because Tim idolized Robin, not Batman. He looked up to Batman too, but Dick Grayson was his hero. Especially since Bruce was kind of a hot mess at first, so Tim never really had the hero worship like he did with Nightwing. So Tim having a bird themed name, a bird themed symbol on his chest, just makes sense.

My two favorite ideas for Tim’s new hero name are either Crow or Cardinal.

Oh shit Cassandra Cain and Bao Pham working together would actually make for a hell of a story if you wrote it with respect for both characters’ perspectives. Cass is all about second chances and being able to change for the better, and also about stopping harm when people haven’t changed yet, while Bao’s post-Joker-pocalypse thing is not giving second chances to people who did harm, people who for all we know are just acting like nothing happened instead of trying to make up in any way for the damage they did.

Like this wouldn’t work as something were Clownhunter is already tracking someone down, and Cass intervenes to stop him. It needs to be them teamed up to work on a mutual goal, and getting into conflict over methods, while having so much fucking compassion for each other’s pasts.

Also snarking the hell out of each other, Bao in his small-font rambles and Cass in her minimum-words + sarcastic-actions.

Slightly obsessed with the idea of Rose having secretive government employment in Rebirth but still hanging around her old flames. Like real “coming back from the war” vibes.

Like I’m just imaging Rose getting like 2 weeks shore leave from Stormwatch because she did really well on a mission or whatever and her just appearing in front of Cassandra’s apartment one day still wearing her costume and carrying like a duffel bag over her shoulder and Cassandra not being the least bit bemused by this.

Assgjshdvs like Rose spends the entire 2 weeks giving Cassandra the best strap of her life before leaving again like nothing ever happened. They don’t see each for three months after this and neither thinks it’s weird or considers themselves the other one’s bootycall. Actually they both think “ah yes I’m totally getting a good grade in romance” and literally no one else thinks they’re dating because they never talk about each other or even go on dates ahajhshw
