Announced during Nintendo’s Indie World Showcase, Team 17 and The Game Kitchen’s Blasphemous II follows The Penitent One who awakens in an unfamiliar land away from his final resting place.

oh my fucking gods have y’all seen the blasphemous 2 trailers. it’s insane i’m going to scream

anyway, it’s theory time!

the first the picture i’m most curious about. there’s so much going on here and i’m so intrigued but i’m definitely asking questions. like. are those black protrusions…wings? and…do we know these npcs? because we just might. additionally, the ambiance of the chamber looks very familiar. curious if anyone has any theories…

the lake is another area i’m fascinated by. it’s beautiful, yes — carved cliffs, a distant sun, and perfect, glassy water. but what is casting that reflection?

doesn’t this figure look awfully similar to the tres angustias?

and lastly…whose hands are these, and are they…turning to stone?

I wasn't expecting it, but Blasphemous II does perfectly recreate the Elden Ring experience; being stuck on multiple bosses simultaneously.
