his name is vincent he was blessed with a bunch of stuff as a baby bc he was a difficult birth and magical beings had to help his mum. one of those blessings was from an elf who saw how difficult the birth had been for his parents and promised vincent that she would guard his heart against the same pain

fast forward he is a twentysomething an absolute menace with his bff/personal guard joey and his parents are at their wits end getting him to marry. many princes and princesses paraded before him etc but nothing sticks vince just doesnt feel that way. his parents eventually remember the blessing/curse and send him on a quest to find the elf who bestowed it on him. he goes with joey and on the way they run into one of the princesses (caterina i think) who is a total bitch and i love her. they find the elf who laughs in their face and is like bro i didn't do anything to change your heart this is just who you are romantic love isn't everything. AND YEAH!

Evolutionary Biology 101 with Prof. MC Sure. They may be ancient entities that predate humanity but that doesn't mean these demons pay attention. 5.5k words of MC finding out the brothers know nothing about human evolution and their attempts to correct that.
