Parfait's Juggling Act! 🎈

Heres a sculpt ive been working on the past couple of days! It took about 20 hours and got me to 100+ hours in blender on steam!

I played around with parts of their design since last time i drew them, giving them normal eyes to differentiate from Poly more and i decided to ditch the asymmetrical theme and instead leaned into a plush theme! added stitches and loose yarn here and there :)

Bonus: this is a "redraw" of the first time i made her an official OC in 2022 (see below!)

Hi ! This is MOD, and to start off introductions I wanna share my Castle Staff characters :)

My main character is c!Polymer in the top left! She's my original species Bolidae, and is based off of (but not the same character as) my fursona! She grows up throughout the story into a much larger polar bear-like creature and becomes the mother to the little bolidae children at the bottom! My lesser known character is c!Mod, who's not a huge part of the story, more so there to explain my building on the mc server haha.

I made my bolidae characters very easy to write for, they're basically just goat-cats who act like little dogs, so they're free to use and add into your own stories or anything else! :D

Mulch Honorable Mentions

As promised, I will be ranking the 40 bottom feeders throughout the modern D&D multiverse best to use for your next Big Monster Evil Guy over the course of March.  You can see the original post under the BMEG tag and this month will also fall under the tag of Mulch, which is what the month for the triad of oozes, plants, and vermin will now be referred to as.

This was still very difficult to nail down between 73 entities and while I could’ve just made it a list of 30, I didn’t want to hold out on that last 10 which I feel would still be adequate BMEGs.  Today though, we still will be going through those honorable mentions that still don’t quite hit that mark and find themselves in the 50 through 41 range.

Once again to clarify briefly, while I can’t guarantee that my bias won’t factor in on occasion, this list is what I believe to be the best of these creatures to be the final villain of a questline.  It is NOT my favorite monsters and certainly not the BEST monsters.  Please bear that in mind and don’t be too upset if your faves didn’t make the list.  I won’t be going as deeply into these ones as when we get into the real list.  There were further rules given in my previous post but without further ado, my places for 60 through 51 are as follows:

#50 - Terotricus - PF2E

I really wanted to rank this one in the list.  It’s pretty much the only PF2E monster that could’ve had a chance at qualifying.  One other gets cannibalized as the same creature under a different name but I find it quite unfortunate that no new creatures of PF2E could make the list.  PF2E even tried hard by giving this creature more than 1 paragraph, but a part from a vague connection to the Abyss, it really just didn’t do all that much.  Even still, this plant is pretty neat and I’ll always love Plane connections, but it just wasn’t enough.

#49 - Night Twist - D&D 3.5

Trees are... a difficult thing to manifest as a Big Bad.  Which makes it surprising that a good number actually do make this list with pretty decent intelligence all around.  As well as many that didn’t.  Night Twist falls in that middle category.  It has some cool mechanics for luring people in with its strange song and manifesting new tress out of the corpses it makes, but the lore just... is kinda nonexistent.  Which is shame for such a powerful and interesting creature.

#48 - Bolida - Starfinder

Here we find the first of our 3 vermin that qualified, and what do you know even the lowest made the honorable mentions.  This one was probably a break in the rules so that they could make a player race out of it, and that fact is the big reason it gets some recognition, because as soon as you say it can be a player race, that opens the door to lots of great possibilities.  Still the bolida are primarily concerned with mining, with little to no aspiration or lore beyond this and so this consideration is as far as I could consider.

#47 - Octopus Tree - D&D 3.5

These things just kind of hit the mark of evocative.  They are evil and make trouble at sea, which is not something you often see from plants and aquatic stuff really catches me.  Beyond that though, there isn’t a whole lot to go on though in terms of personality or motives, even if the theme is pretty cool.

#46 - Mountain Blight - Pathfinder

We are going to talk a lot more about the blights and why they’ve been separated into individual listings as we go on in this list and while I love them, some of them had to take the bullet.  Tundra blight took it hard enough to not make even honorables.  And mountain blight is the one that has the bare minimum lore to make it to honorables.  They kinda just chill in mountain paths and not much else compared to the more active blights we’ll come to speak on.

#45 - Myceloid - Pathfinder, PF2E

I don’t know.  These guys kinda just seem like a poor man’s myconid.  And like... for what reason.  Did Wizards not give Paizo the rights to myconids of all things?  I guess these guys are evil, but did we really need more initially evil races?  That takes away the flexibility of myconids.  These guys are fine, but they seem a tad unnecessary.   I do love this artwork though.  I would say these guys could be easily interchanged with myconids.

#44 - Etheroot - Pathfinder

These things are neat and can change their motives and needs based on whatever emotion they need to balance out with a little bit of magical manipulation.  But they don’t have goals beyond that and more importantly are extremely affixed not only to one tiny niche of content but also one tiny niche of area.

#43 - Mandragora - Pathfinder, PF2E

The mandragora arise from placing mandrake roots onto the bodies of dead demons, creating a blood seeking monstrosity.  This has interesting implications but doesn’t go much deeper than that.  There’s also implications about alchemical purpose here but I rarely go in for that for the purpose of the roleplay of the monster itself, even if that stuff should be talked about with monsters more.

#42 - Conflagration Ooze - D&D 3.5

I’m gonna be honest, there might be two kinda cheap reasons this ranks higher than other honorable mentions and part of that is it being from my fav ever monster book for any edition and so nostalgia and the other being it looks adorable.  Other than that it has cool implications to Hell, which usually hooks me more than the abyss simply because the connections are usually stronger there but it gives little beyond that to go on.

#41 - Bodysnatcher Slime - Starfinder

There are a couple of mind stealers we’ll be looking at throughout this list and I can’t even really quantify what about the bodysnatcher missed catching me, but I think I may have just been tired of mind bending oozes and plants, especially coming off of aberrations.

Howdy! This is Basil, also known as Viy! Let me introduce myself!

I mainly play the role of cViy/cBasil in the castle staff, however, I do co-own cChoros/cChoris and I also play cMosey! cMosey is a bolidae, a species Mod made! cViy is a hybrid of a Dhole/manned wolf and a human, he is cursed and has a few interesting attributes to him. cChoros is a friend's oc that she doesn't use anymore, and so she passed her off to me! She is an enderman and experiment hybrid.

Here's what they look like! :D

cMosey is the green cat-goat-like creature. cChoros is the purple chick without a nose, and cViy is the green-haired dude!

I tend to mainly use cViy, but do make content of cMosey too. Not much for cChoros as she isn't 100% on the staff, she is similar to someone like cPunz or cPurpled.

NJUJORK, 20. oktobra, 2021.- Nacionalna košarkaška asocijacija (NBA) i Formula 1® (F1) objavili su prvo partnerstvo sadržaja i promocija za okupljanje široke, globalne baze ljubitelja NBA i F1 u čast proslave 75. godišnje sezone NBA lige i povratka F1 u SAD na 2021 FORMULA 1 UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX ™ u nedelju, 24. oktobra u Ostinu u Teksasu.

U čast proslave Velike nagrade Sjedinjenih Država i 75. godišnjice NBA lige, ekskluzivne slike automobila F1® sa prilagođenim oznakama koje predstavljaju svih 30 NBA timova biće postavljene i na društvenim kanalima NBA i F1 širom sveta, a prvih 10 automobila koji predstavljaju Centralnu i Pacifičke diviziju je otkriveno danas.

"Sjutra će pasti krv!" Policija je na nogama, Vučić u znoju, a oba pola srpskog društva nabrijana! U subotu 17. Septembra u Beogradu će biti pravo opsadno stanje kakvo odavno nije doživio. Svi sa zebnjom očekuju što se može dogoditi. "Ako je neki skup zabranjen - bit će zabranjen. Manifestacija neće biti održana i promjene te odluke neće biti", izrekao je prije nekoliko dana srbijanski predsjednik Aleksandar Vučić, imajući u vidu najavljeni Europride. Orijentirajući se na tu izjavu, i MUP Srbije je odbio prijedlog trase kojom se Pride trebao odvijati. No, Aleksandar Vučić je ipak sve porekao i, očito, zbog velikog pritiska zapadnih ambasada (američki, britanski, nizozemski i norveški ambasadori pozvali su ga da to učini i najavili svoje učešće na manifestaciji) i Bruxellesa (mnogi eurozastupnici također će doći u Beograd) teška srca odobrio Europride šetnju, pogotovo jer su organizatori, osokoljeni europskom podrškom, rekli da ih zabrane ne zanimaju te da će oni šetati bez obzira na odluku vlasti. Doduše, prihvatili su izmijenjenu rutu. Tako će se u subotu 17. 09., održati Europride kojem se Vučić toliko protivio. Prorežimski mediji napadaju "ambasade" i pišu kako Amerika Srbiju gura u LGBT rat! Još tri manifestacije No, to nije sve. U Beogradu će uz to biti održane još tri manifestacije koje će od grada taj dan učiniti ključajući kotao: promocija vojnih pitomaca koji će poslije s familijama i gostima ići u šetnju gradskim ulicama, zatim će se u središtu grada održati promotivna vožnja bolida Formule 1 "Red Bull Show Run Beograd", a u 17 sati posložit će se planirani - Europride i u neposrednom susjedstvu skup konzervativnih velikosrpskih radikalnih desničara, eufemistički nazvanih antiglobalisti, u tzv. Hodu za porodicu. Aktivni će biti i sveštenici crkve Srbije jer će u svim pravoslavnim hramovima na trasi Pridea biti istovremeno održavane liturgije protiv njegova održavanja! Mnoge ulice u centru već su zatvorene za promet, a blokada središta grada će potrajati. Policija je na nogama, Vučić u znoju, a oba pola srpskog društva nabrijana. Podignute su sve raspoložive policijske snage, pa još i dodatne, u strahu od mogućih sukoba. Naime, već su prije radikalne navijačke i ultradesničarske skupine najavljivale da će "pasti krv" ako u njihovu gradu bude održan Pride, a podrška za takav stav stigla im je i iz vrha crkve Srbije. Svi u niskom startu Srbijanski MUP je zabranio i LGBTIQ+ okupljanje i radikalnodesni skup "antiglobalista", ali na ulice će i jedni i drugi te pozivaju svoje sljedbenike i simpatizere da se okupe u što većem broju. Sve su institucije u niskom startu, nervozne i oprezne. Iz Višeg javnog tužiteljstva, kako piše beogradski Blic, upozoravaju da će svako okupljanje više od 20 građana biti kažnjeno i da će zajedno s "policijskom upravom za grad Beograd i osnovnim javnim tužiteljstvima poduzeti sve mjere i radnje iz svoje nadležnosti radi zaštite javnog reda i mira, imovine, kao i fizičkog integriteta i spokojstva građana". MUP također procjenjuje da je "rizik za sigurnost velik", pogotovo jer će se obje šetnje odvijati u neposrednoj blizini i bliski susret prve vrste dviju suprotstavljenih skupina vrlo je moguć. Ovo je veliki test za Vučića koji drži sve konce političkog i medijskog života u Srbiji, pa će biti zanimljivo vidjeti koliko na uzdi drži i kontrolira svoj dio biračkog tijela - desne ultranacionaliste i konzervativce ili kako će ih upotrijebiti i iskoristiti. Njemu kontrolirani haos odgovara. Njegova se vladavina svih ovih 12 godina i temelji na podizanju tenzija i stvaranju straha i haosa, njegovu "mučeništvu" i vrhunaravnoj povijesnoj ulozi te najavama čestih dramatičnih obraćanja narodu. Vučiću svakako ne odgovaraju sukobi na ulicama Beograda i nastojat će sve kontrolirati, pa će se vidjeti koliko je jak. Doduše, održavanje Europridea, unatoč njegovoj zabrani, ipak pokazuje njegovu slabost i određenu pukotinu u monolitu njegove autoritarne vlasti (Jutarnji list).
