Zlibrary- my saviour, my knight in shining armour.

Zlibrary thank you dear baby for existing. I discovered Zlibrary two years ago and since then I was never lonely. I had company, of hundreds and thousands at my fingertips. Uni is depressing as it is, but zlibrary brought the entire cosmos, the party and the gossips of the universe to me.

I am gonna miss you for making my life better. Thank you for making reading accessible to me and making me fall in love with it. As a broke uni student, you kept me and my hope alive by kindling my love for reading. Zlibrary you have no idea how you have helped me through the rough patch of pandemic.

I don't care what others say about piracy bullshit and copyrights blah blah, to me Zlibrary was my ultimate saviour, the light at the end of the dark tunnel. There are a plethora of misogynistic, porn, offensive websites and other illicit social media pages which still thrive and continue to function. It only makes the world's priorities clear. And to the tiktok influencers who yelled to the entire world about the gem, are you happy now? Was your mediocre book recommendation worth it? You are privileged enough to have access to physical copies, but no you had to go ruin it for the rest of us. No alternative will ever live up to it.

Zlibrary is close to my heart and when I heard the news I felt someone ripped my heart out and yanked the world from under my feet. It hurt worse than any heart break. Upon several attempts with vpn and everything- still zlibrary fails to work, I felt hollow inside.

I just can't now anymore-

But I will leave on a positive note. Thank you zlibrary for being the dawn after my dark nights. Thank you zlibrary for being my therapist. Thank you zlibrary for being my teacher. Thank you zlibrary for being my friend.

was thinking about an AU where wilfried kept his big mouth shut when ortwin asked if dietlinde would be able to get the grutrissheit and adolphine was able to use that as an excuse to delay her marriage…

but THEN i thought of an even better AU where eglantine sacked up and decided to ensure anastasius’s position as future zent would be secure after their marriage. she could have leveraged her position as future queen to convince aub drewanchel to withdraw from the agreed betrothal between adolphine and the leftover prince. adolphine would have jumped on board enthusiastically. eglantine and anastasius could have offered some other kind of benefit to drewanchel to make it up to them…

then without the backing of a greater duchy, sigiswald would be at a serious disadvantage in the fight for the throne. he could have scrambled to obtain, say, hannelore? or dietelinde? but both would have strong reasons to turn him down. his only remaining pathway would have been to try to steal eglantine from anastasius. in which case, the moment he tried something, they could have used it as a position to fully take him out.

anyway, AU where adolphine never had to marry that sorry excuse for a prince and gets to become aub drewanchel :)

Shatter me trilogy (shatter me, unite me, ignite me)

I didn't really like Adam in the first book but i think that was mostly bcs i knew Juliette would end up with Aaron. I hated how he just felt so weird and i know for sure that Juliette only fell for him because he could touch her without her killing him, and because he had a tattoo of a bird which was just super cringe. But he was such a red flag in the second book refusing to let her break up with him, not only that people says "at least he was a good brother to James" yes he was but he still said that he was happier thinking Juliette was dead.

People who prefer Adam over Warner are total LOSERS because how could you not prefer a MAN who wants to remove scars believing you were scared because of them, who saves you knowing you were going to chose another man over him, let's you see him at his worst, and believes you could do anything you wanted. In Adam's novella he keeps worrying over "his girl" because apparently Juliette is so weak, and fragile. He thinks so little of her throughout the whole novella even though she could kill the whole sector 45 if she wanted to, even more cringe is when Kenji said "let's go get OUR girl" and Adam responds with "MY girl" claiming her after she has told him on multiple occasions that she does not want to be with him anymore, and it isn't even that its that she was absolutely TERRIFIED of hurting him in any possible ways and he just doesn't even care that him not respecting that is just gonna fuck her mentally.

But something that just made me realize even more that she needed warner was how she kept going back to counting things with Adam which she used to do in the asylum, but when she was with warner she didn't count anything (that i remember) and Warner always respected her, (even when he could sense that she wanted him (romantically) and never got into an argument about that (juliette needing time or not wanting to "yk" with him).

Absolutely hated Adam's audacity to keep putting a claim on her, assuming things, and always finding a way to absolutely gaslight Juliette.

Currently reading: I just finished hate to be lame (but I might love you) by @anincompletelist and I am fucking feral about it. 10/10, no notes, highly recommend.

As for an actual book, I was thinking of starting Maybe You Should Talk to Someone, which I bought at The Strand in February and is staring at me from my bookshelf along with a few dozen other brand new, unread books.

I feel like this went around awhile ago and it's WIP Wednesday now, so consider this an open tag for anyone that wants it!
