#repost @reixiao_ Rei Xiao (Chinese-Turkish, 2000-, practicing in Istanbul, Turkey and Boston, Massachusetts, USA). It was dark inside the wolf, 2022. Oil on canvas, 48 x 60 inches, 121 x 152 cm. As seen at @mfaboston in the juried exhibition SMFA at Tufts: Archive and Autobiography (curatorial involvement of @silkyjuicy, @michaelablanc et al). This work addresses several themes including the symbiotic relationship between humans and their feline friends.
