Smooth Sailing
I found a couple of Canada geese on the kids’ fishpond. It was cloudy but the water was smooth as glass.

Hypothetical titles for season seven of 88
Down below. Part one. Six months after the previous season’s finale. Findlay is bored with being dead and asks Devon to help her return home. Guest starring Bernard Curry as Devon Christensen
Middle ground. Part two. In the land of the living. Sidney’s mourning period is interrupted by a brewing gangland war between Staten Island brownies and Central Park fairies.
Up top. Part three. Devon manages to get in contact with Lucia who convinces their father to help with Findlay’s plan. But it comes with a steep cost. Guest starring Eric Bana as Godfrey Christensen.
Back to normal. Part four. The family is overjoyed that Findlay’s back. But Drummond notices that something isn’t quite right.
It’s not about you. Drummond’s suspicions deepen when Findlay loses her temper at a perp linked to a high school students horrific suicide
Family meeting. Drummond confesses his theory to Sidney who has a rather unfortunate, yet understandable, reaction.
Disbarred. Findlay, Jacob and Lucia have a field day when they find out that Phaedra Wilkins, returning guest star Hilary Duff, was fired from her firm for espousing transphobic views to her transgender boss. First appearance of Laverne Cox as Maybelle Archer, Ming Na Wen as Constance Bradley and Jennifer Coolidge as Aida Cambridge; the founding name partners of ABC&Associates
Grandfather clause. Findlay relishes the opportunity to create a profile without seeing the crime scene in person when there’s a murder at a gentleman’s billiards club where women aren’t allowed inside
Do you want the truth? Part one. What little patience Findlay retains disappears when Phaedra Wilkins demands to know what Findlay truly thinks of her.
Lying liar who lies. Part two. Jacob creates his own criminal profile to clear Findlay’s name after she’s blamed for Phaedra’s apparent attempted suicide
Fleabagging it. Findlay and Sidney indulge in some parental investigation when Drummond starts going to a Cabal owned church led by a very magnetic Cupid. Guest starring Hayden Christensen as Reverend Logan Hearst.
Cousin. Midseason finale. Part one. Chambers (Brad Pitt) returns to the shocking reveal that he has a daughter that he never knew about. Guest starring Elle Fanning as Kit Jenkins
Exsanguinated. Midseason premier. Part two. Following Kit’s attack on Chambers and subsequent suicide. Findlay asks her uncle for the full story. Features Dakota Fanning’s return as Arlene Jenkins and a special appearance by Michelle Pfeiffer as Arlene and Kit’s deceased mother Phyllis.
Lack of tact. To appease her father, Findlay willingly goes through an internal affairs investigation and a medical examination to find out why she’s been “off” since she came back from the dead. Featuring the return of Dan Stevens as Alec Moynihan and the first appearance of Audra McDonald as Dr. Corinna Corsica.
Ain’t karma a bitch? Findlay bonds with the child of a family who were burgled as Phaedra begins her community service sentence.
A special request. President Guilroy (Stockard Channing) summons Findlay, Sidney, Drummond, Thornton, Jacob and Lucia to Washington to workshop a secret project she’s planning. Features the return of Jeremy Shada as Robbie Guilroy and the first appearance of Greg Sulkin as Thornton’s brother, Alabaster.
Avast ye swabs. While Thornton, Findlay and Sidney are in Washington. Conrad Rhys (recurring guest star Paul Rudd) has to team up with his ex, Maybelle Archer to protect the rights of a LARPing group in Central Park.
The nanny, the detective and the profiler. Skipper gets very smug when he finds out that Findlay and Sydney might have hooked up with Coleman Tarbh (returning guest star Paul Telfer) after they hired him as the twins nanny
Burn baby burn. A gas explosion at the Changeling home gives Lucia the chance to help Sidney and Findlay add another notch to their bedpost after she realises their thing for the NYFD’s chief of department. Guest starring Robbie Amell as NYFD Chief Solaris Burnett and Idina Menzel.
He belongs to us. Drummond has to rescue Findlay after she’s abducted by his revenge driven biological uncle. Final appearance of Jim Parsons as disgraced Pastor Elmer Carothers.
London calling. Part one. Coronation. The five families are invited to the coronation of the new king of England. Guest starring Meera Syal as Nadine Burton the queen mother, Dev Patel as the soon to be king Reuben Burton and Naomi Scott as Reuben’s wife, Chantelle Burton.
London calling. Part two. Windsor. Findlay butts heads with the prime minister as soon as the families get settled into the castle. Guest starring Gemma Chan as prime minister Eliza Moorcroft.
London calling. Part three. Balmoral. Worried for the heirs life, Findlay succeeds in getting the royal family relocated for the ceremony but Eliza tries to block her at every turn.
London calling. Part four. Coup. Season finale. The coronation finally arrives but Eliza has one final trick up her sleeve that Findlay doesn’t see coming.

MBTI & Astrology Observations
Tumblr media Tumblr media
🥀 1. Moon/Pluto aspects give off Ni, introverted intuition vibe. Dominant/auxiliary/tertiary Ni users may have Moon/Pluto aspects. They may indicate problems or a strong bond with their mother. Their emotions are intense. I've seen easy Moon/Pluto aspects (Trine, Sextile, Conjunction) are often INFJ, INTJ, ENFJ and ISFP.
Hard Moon/Pluto aspects have to learn to make peace with their intense feelings. One ENTJ I know personally has Moon Opposition Pluto. She has a complicated relationship with her mother and jealous tendency. ENTJs have inferior Fi so it's likely difficult for them to manage their intense feelings. They likely ignore their feelings or explode.
Another INFJ I know in real life has Moon Trine Pluto. His mother is feisty and strong. He loves and admires his mother. Women have big influence on him. He has a healing gift he may not realize in himself.
For example: Fujii Kaze (INFJ, Moon Sextile Pluto), Twice's Mina (INFJ, Moon Sextile Pluto), Madison Beer (ENFJ, Moon Sextile Pluto), Jodie Foster (INTJ, Moon Conjunction Pluto), BTS's Yoongi (INTJ, Moon Sextile Pluto), Avril Lavigne (ISFP, Moon Conjunction Pluto) The Weeknd (ISFP, Moon Conjunction Pluto), Blackpink's Jennie (ISFP, Moon Conjunction Pluto), Billie Eilish (ISFP, Moon Sextile Pluto) , Brad Pitt (ISFP, Moon Trine Pluto), Leonardo DiCaprio (ESFP, Moon Conjunction Pluto), Vanessa Hudgens (ESFP, Moon Trine Pluto)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
🥀 2. The next similar indicator is Scorpio Moon for Ni/Se users. I've often seen Ni + Te/Fi users (INTJ, ENTJ, ISFP and ESFP) have this placement. Another ENTJ I know personally has Scorpio Moon. He gives off a dangerous, mysterious and suspicious aura.
My explanation for Moon/Pluto aspects and Scorpio Moon give off strong Ni - introverted intuition is because I associate Ni with Pluto, Fe & Fi with Moon & Neptune.
For example: Epik High's Tablo (INTJ, Scorpio Moon), Lady Gaga (ISFP, Scorpio Moon), Hayden Christensen (ISFP, Scorpio Moon), Avril Lavigne (ISFP, Scorpio Moon), Taylor Monsen (ISFP, Scorpio Moon), Dove Cameron (ISFP, Scorpio Moon), The Weeknd (ISFP, Scorpio Moon), Katy Perry (ISFP, Scorpio Moon), Blackpink's Jennie (ISFP, Scorpio Moon), Blackpink's Lisa (ESFP, Scorpio Moon), Lily-Rose Depp (ISFP, Scorpio Moon), Miley Cyrus (ESFP, Scorpio Moon), Kylie Jenner (ESFP, Scorpio Moon)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
🥀 3. Blackpink's Lisa has Venus Trine Pluto. Kendall Jenner has Venus Conjunction Pluto. Blackpink's Jennie has Venus Square Pluto. They are known for their captivating and sexy beauty caused by Venus/Pluto aspects but how the audience feels about each of them can be totally different.
Lisa's passionate dance performances and doll-like appearance stand out in the crowd.
Kendal is the eptimote of how I envision a Venus/Pluto beauty looks like: sharp, tall, dark and mysterious.
Jennie has the most RBF, intimidating and edgy look out of the three. Her reputation is also the most polarizing.
Jennie seems to get hated the most. People mesmerize by Lisa and Kendal's beauty more while Jennie's face both attracts admirers and invokes hatred and jealousy the most. Venus/Pluto beauty generally creates strong impact on people. It's hard to forget their beauty.
It's fascinating to observe how easy and difficult aspects play out in real life. Easy Venus/Pluto aspects are more Venusian and hard Venus/Pluto aspects are more Plutonian.
Kendal is an ISTJ, Jennie is an ISFP and Lisa is an ESFP. They all have a Te/Fi axis.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
🥀 4. Dove Cameron was born one day before Blackpink's Jennie and they are both ISFPs and Scorpio Moon. Their chart are almost identical (without knowing their birth time).

Happy Easter
I was heading past the cliffs overlooking the Beaverhead River the other day and spotted the geese that hang on rocks. They always show up there this time of year. I spotted a lone goose lower down on the cliffs in a good spot for pictures. I had to take my eyes off it to get my camera ready to go. When I looked up, I lost him, completely disappeared. There was a pair further down, so I moved up closer which also gave me a better angle. I took a couple of shots, and then right above me there was honking. It was the first goose that I had lost sight of, at a much better distance and angle than before.
A very good photographer and the owner of Perfect Light and Yellowstone Camera shops Chris Balmer suggested using Auto ISO, seems to work real slick.

Happy birthday to Brad Anderson 🎉 "I’ve admired Brad’s work for a while,” Hayden Christensen says. “When he approached me with this script, I was really keen to get involved. He’s a very smart filmmaker; super analytical. Brad is on top of every aspect of the movie, and at the same time he allows himself to try and experience what the characters are going through.”

RESULTS Pacific/GK Poll Round 2
Okay, so I love you all, but only half of you did The Pacific poll? So, you’re about to go to the naughty list. Just saying.
ANYWAYS, there are a couple...big losses from Round 2, meaning there’s going to be more heartbreak coming for you in Round 3, so jot that down. My favorite comments were the following:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And this one, referring to the Doc Bryan vs. Brad Colbert duel:
Tumblr media
Finally, on to the results!
A whopping 42 people joined us for GK’s round 2! So let’s move on to the results.
In a very close race, Captain America (22) vs. Encino Man (20)!
In a not at all close race, my boy John Christensen (38) vs. Michael Stinetorf (4)
Our first upset of the day was Gunny Wynn’s (25) vs. Ray Person (17)! That’s right folks, Ray Person is NOT the favorite.
Q-Tip (37) vs. Dirty Earl (5) I’m gonna be honest, I haven’t watched GK in a bit and don’t even remember who Dirty Earl Carisalez is, so 5 votes is great for him.
Local pretty boy Walt Hasser (41) vs. Trombley (1) The one vote for Trombley is keeping me awake at night. Who would do that? WHY would you do that? Is it a dislike of Walt? Do you truly love JAMES TROMBLEY more than Walt Hasser? I need to understand.
Rudy Reyes (32) vs. Poke Espera (10) While I am sad to see Poke go, I understand. Not everyone can play themselves, and Rudy just did so well. It’s a tough choice.
Nate Fick (40) vs. Gabe Garza (2) Look, I’m happy Nate won, but also sad Gabe didn’t receive more votes. He’s so cute!
Doc Bryan (30) vs. Brad Colbert (12) Like I said, I haven’t seen GK in a while and while I remember loving Doc, I also can’t say I saw this result coming. We have lost Brad AND Ray.
And now for the 21 of you who voted in the Pacific poll...
John Hamm (17) vs. Gwen (4) Sorry Gwen.
Chuckler Juergens (16) vs. J.P. Morgan (15) The disrespect shown to my boy JP is typical, let me just say. Judging you all.
Snafu (18) vs. Chesty Puller (3) Unsurprising and yet I’m sad to see Chesty go...
Hoosier Smith (15) vs. Lena Basilone (6) LENAAAAAAAAAAA!
Ack Ack Haldane (16) vs. Vera Keller (5) For like the first two days, Vera was ahead and I was so scared Ack Ack was gonna lose.
Eugene Sledge (17) vs. R.V. Burgin (4) Some of y’all are so mean to Burgie.
!!!!!!!
John Basilone (11) vs. Robert Leckie (10) It was SO CLOSE but we DID IT BASILONE GIRLIES!...Also, sorry to everyone who worked hard to get Leckie moved forward. You have my unending respect.
I’ll see you at Round 3!

I'mma be real, I'm not excited for Bottoms to come out. As much as I love Kaia Gerber, her acting performance isn't great. I don't think she's a good actor, and I don't think she'll improve, and if so, I don't think it's that much. Austin Butler is a good actor, I'm not a Kaia nor am I an Austin stan. However, I do like his work. I think he did a good job as Wil Ohmsford from The Shannara Chronicles, Sebastian Kydd from The Carrie Diaries, James Wilkerson from Switched at Birth, Jacob from iCarly, and as George from Wizards of a Waverley Place, etc etc. I can't say the same for his girlfriend, Kaia.
Kaia, is a talented model. She's great, I love her. But, as an actor. I just don't see it. I'm obviously not going to compare the two because his experience outweighs her, but if I were to compare. I would say Kaia has the same energy as James Garrett from Zoey 101 Season 4 when he goes, "Do you know where I can go get lunch?" in the most, monotone voice imaginable, but it's her whole performance. She can do better with more training, obviously. But, I still just don't see it in my opinion. Not to mention, she kind of doesn't acknowledge that her nepotism plays into her acting career. For some reason, she acknowledges that it plays in her model career, but not in her acting, saying something along the lines of, and I quote: "I won't deny the privilege that I have. Even if it's just the fact that I have a really great source of information and someone to give me great advice, that I alone feel very fortunate for. But with acting, it's so different. No artist is going to sacrifice their vision for someone's kid. That just isn't how art is made, and what I'm interested in is art. No one wants to work with someone who's annoying, and not easy to work with, and not kind." Which, basically is saying; "yeah but the nepotism doesn't apply to me in acting." which... it does.
Her performance in AHS wasn't even bad, it's downright awful. There's a scene I can't forget which is basically one of the main characters is about to get attacked. Kaia, who is basically defending the main character, says. "RUN!" in the same way Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen isn't a bad actor, it's just an example) from AOTC says, "I don't like sand." just completely void of all emotion. You might be wondering, what do I want from her performance? I wanted her to sound panicked, because her character was panicking. But for some reason, her line delivery is the same as Kristen Stewart going: "woah... what is going on?" In Twilight, it's just bad. She doesn't sound panicked nor shocked, she just sounds completely void of emotion, not in shocked, not surprised, not panicked, not anything. The max she does is raise her voice by 3 octaves- maybe.
In my opinion, in order to become a good actor, you at least have to acknowledge what got you there. The people that got you to the spot you are. Austin, her boyfriend, does this all the time. I see him give credit to other people, I see him say he wants to become like Brad Pitt, like Leonardo DiCaprio, he loves acting, and you can see it, you can tell. He's humble, he treats his publicist amazing, and he gives her credit, saying she's always there for him. He gives credit to his acting coach, to his agent, to Baz, to Tom. The guy seems humble, and he gives credit, he acknowledges that he wouldn't be where he is today, without people.
Kaia doesn't have this in her, due to her refusing to acknowledge that nepotism. I don't think she'll become a good actor, and if so, not a humble one. Her boyfriend can acknowledge that strings were pulled so he could get the role of Elvis. But, she can't acknowledge that her name got her to where she is today. I really don't see it for her, which is why I'm not excited for Bottoms.
Maybe Kaia will be a good actor, maybe she won't be. But so far, from what I've seen. She hasn't been, she's been cringe. As a model, she is brilliant, she has an amazing cat walk. But, as an actor, I'm sorry. She's just not promising at all.
i think it’s a little unfair to just assume she’ll never improve when bottoms, and her other projects, haven’t been released at large yet. and when during ahs she was ‘singled out’ as a bad performance whereas there isn’t a single review of bottoms from the 25+ already out that says she sticks out in a bad way. while there are reviews that say the cast is a strong ensemble with no weak ones out and reviews that say positive things about her in general.
and i would really prefer to not drag the nepo ‘statement’ discourse out on here again but idk. maybe an unpopular opinion but i don’t think what she said was as terrible as people make it out to be. it was a little delulu sure, but delulu in regards to the concept of ppl not hiring nepo babies if they’re assholes. and i think it says something about her work ethic and who she is as a person that she thinks you shouldn’t be hired if you’re unkind/hard to work with no matter what your last name is. saying she “refuses to acknowledge it” just objectively isn’t true when she very much has- even if you didn’t particularly like how she went about it.
kaia hasn’t been interviewed about acting a great deal- but when she talks about modeling she has talked about influences before, and i think the whole reason she does book club is because she likes discussing people, thinkers, and books that have shaped her. so i don’t think it’s fair to say ‘well austin is humble because he talks about others, she doesn’t!’ either.
we can agree to disagree, but those are just my thoughts.

@lifeinwisco tagged me to list my top seven comfort movies, thank you! :) I'm leaving Star Wars stuff off this list because we all know what we're about here lol.
Note that (1) I took the term "comfort movies" seriously lol... my list of favorite movies would be different; (2) my "comfort movies" are not your "comfort movies" aka viewer beware because I am very strange.
Interstellar in which wormholes, space travel, and climate change are depicted through the most brilliant emotions, soundtrack, and visuals, the latter of which via consultation from actual RL physicists--but also in which rational science is stumped by the human being's unquantifiable capacity for love, a variable transcending the laws of space & time
What About Bob in which one absolutely deranged patient and one absolutely deranged psychiatrist are set upon two absolutely deranged, diametrically opposed, and escalating paths. This will infuriate the patient, this will infuriate the psychiatrist, this will infuriate you, this will infuriate me—but somehow you and I will still be laughing into the stratosphere for ages.
World War Z in which Brad Pitt decides to plagiarize and displace the words of a popular epistolary novel investigates a zombie apocalypse ex-Navy-Seal style (and FYI, in this one, those bitches RUN)
Bad Times at the El Royale in which I go in for shirtless Chris Hemsworth portraying a cult leader, realize halfway through that I'm actually here for Cynthia Erivo's singing (and briefly yearn to punch Chris Hemsworth in the fucking face for his unnervingly convincing performance as a villain), find myself uncomfortably aroused in a very crowded theater what with all that unexpected fictional dubcon, and leave sobbing harder than I ever have in my life because an old man pretended to be a priest one last time (and believe it or not, yes, this is a better description of the movie than any plot synopsis you'll ever read)
Poseidon (any version of this movie works for me, but this is the one I own) in which the tabletop-RPG-esque characters find themselves in an escape room with only a certain amount of time to get out. Except it's not an escape room. It's a ship. And the ship is upside down. In the ocean. And their starting location is the ship's top floor.
Legally Blonde (or John Tucker Must Die which ties with Legally Blonde for this genre of comfort movie) in which there is a ex-boyfriend douchebag, a pretty blonde student who is misunderstood (but not dumb), some misunderstandings and/or poor decisions that almost ruin everything, and some awesome women who fucking slay.
Emma, a movie with the typical Jane Eyre lighthearted intrigue/gossip, societal drama, and the actual embodiment of the Mr. Darcy you all seem to have in your heads.
Honorary Mentions: I watched both of these movies for the first time pretty recently, so I couldn't put them on the list... but I think in the future #6 will be replaced with Jennifer's Body (which is like Black Swan but done Mean Girls style and with a healthy dose of feminism)... and American Heist (in which Hayden Christensen's character gets trapped in a prison pipeline story), which might get on there too because it's exactly the kind of movie I'd want to cry about on a bad day.
Tagging @kcrabb88 @librarianladyx @coruscantrhapsody @ooboowoonkoonooboo @tired-bshocked @foreverchangingfandomsao3 @palfriendpatine66 @battlekilt @underacalicosky @that-gay-jedi @ihathbenobiwankenobied but only if you want. No pressure.
