ginny weasley at eleven years old writing her goodbye on the wall and thinking she was never going to see her mum and her dad and her brothers again. slipping unconscious, everything fading to black, thinking she was going to die as a little child, no one to tell her she was loved and forgiven as she slipped from this world. that the last face she thought she would ever see was the boy who murdered her and mocked her as she lay dying. waking up and coming back from the brink of death with harry staring back at her

harry potter at seventeen years old counting his own remaining heartbeats, slipping away to the forest, having to walk calmly away from the people he loves without saying goodbye to stand in front of riddle and let him kill him. looking into riddle’s face and having his be the last face he thought he’d ever see, all hope of a family and a future stolen from him. closing his eyes and thinking of gin as that flash of green light seems to end it all

(also that the only other people harry knows who went to their deaths that way, feeling that panic and grief and terror, are lily and james…….)

anyway i just think that that’s huge and awful and important ok!!!

Natalya Eloise Rozinova

Eldest daughter of Konstantin and Milena Rozinov

The family's golden child, Natalya excelled in all manor of study. Proficient at piano, violin, and dance. Their parents had no doubt that she would marry an esteemed lord (or higher!) and bring honor and wealth to the family.

But it was not to be. At one of the family's famed soirées, Natalya met Henrik Reimann, and everything changed. The two fell in love, and soon they were engaged.

At first the family approved of the match. The Reimann family was another wealthy name of high standing in Faversham. But the more it became clear that Henrik was harboring a secret, the more Natalya's parents soured on him.

It was only after marrying (in secret), and finding out that she was with child that Natalya learned the truth. In the worst way possible.

Her betrothed was a demon hunter, and a good one, at that. But even the best fall. And he did, the middle of the night when the pair was attacked by an otherworldly beast. Natalya lost husband and child in one fell swoop. But instead of returning home, she took up his work, becoming a hunter herself, endlessly seeking out the demon that tore her family from her.

Arisstina Angeline Rozinova

The black sheep of the Rozinov girls, both literally and figuratively, Ariss always was a rebel. As a young girl she quickly learned that she would never be as perfect or pretty as Natalya, and would never receive the accolades her sister received, so she sought out her family's attention in different ways.

But her attitude only worsened when he arrived.

Everything changed for her at the age of twelve, when her parents brought a young boy into the house. An adopted son. He too was black-haired and grey-eyed. To young Ariss he was captivating. Another black sheep. She was no longer alone.

While her sisters shied away from Vitaly, Ariss often sought him out, seemingly unafraid of him unlike her sisters. In turn he encouraged her bad behavior, reinforcing her rebellion with little more than his approval.

The two would play in the gardens, "the blind man's game" being one of their favorites. Ariss would change into her brother's clothes for ease of movement, then the two would chase each other, taking turns wearing a blindfold.

She couldn't know her un-brother was training her to be a killer all along.

Katerina Delphine Rozinova

Youngest daughter of Konstantin and Milena Rozinov

Little Katya spent her adolescence fighting her way out of her sisters' shadows. Not as perfect as Natalya, but not nearly as problematic as Ariss, she was often overlooked by the family and left to her own devices.

Third in line to inherit the family's shipping company, Katerina should've been safe from the waves and her family's looming expectations. But her chance at freedom quickly dwindled as first Natalya was deemed unworthy of the title, then Arisstina, leaving the Seven Sails squarely on her shoulders.

This was no problem for little Katya, who'd been sailing with her father since she was a girl. But the straightedged life was not for her. By day she is the esteemed and capable captain of the Temperantia. By night, she flies the black as one of the most fearsome (and unexpected) pirate captains on the seven seas.

Teen Titans (1966) #34 "The Demon of Dog Island": Babies' first friend-got-possessed-now-we-must-save-them story!

Interesting Storylines

Teen Titans (1966) #17 "The Return of the Mad Mod": Honestly, I love this story for being the first story where the problem is solved by everyone but Robin because I was so used to the modern stories of Dick being the only one allowed to have a brain

Teen Titans (1966) #37 "Scourge of the Skeletal Riders": They legitimately face off with what seems to be the four horsemen of the apocalypse, maybe evade death, and got their bus fixed by the horsemen's blacksmith? It's all completely unexplained! (Fun to tie in with the implication that they may be immortal though!)

Teen Titans (1966) #38 "Through These Doors Pass the Bravest Titans of Them All": Explores Dick, Donna, and Mal's dreams and insecurities which is fun and it's a little funny to me that all the redheads (Lilith, Wally, Roy) escapes this exploration

The Brave and the Bold (1955) #102 "The Commune of Defiance": A story about civil disobedience portrayed in a good light where the Titans participate!! A story about improving a neighbourhood!!! It's so good I actually teared up a little. If you read nothing else, read this!!!!!!! I'm obsessed with this story actually!!!!!!!!!!

Teen Titans (1966) #41 "What Lies in Litchburg Graveyard": Another story with quite heavy exploration of the history of slavery in America. Is it accurate and sensitive enough? It's like really not my place to say but it seems to be written to teach people at that time about the impacts they have Mr Jupiter raised by a cool black lady which is cool to me!

Teen Titans (1966) #9 "The Big Beach Rumble": They have cute sweaters and scooters and fun, who doesn't love a beach ep?

Teen Titans (1966) #13 "The TT's Swingin' Christmas Carol": A Teen Titans adaptation of the Christmas Carol, who doesn't want to see KF, A-lad, and WG as the Ghost of Christmas Past, Present, and Future?

Teen Titans (1966) #19 "Stepping Stones for a Giant Killer!": They clown the villain SO much in this one it's just fun

Teen Titans (1966) #27 "Nightmare in Space" (with optional pre-reading of #26 "A Penny for a Black Star" which is the set up): Teen Titans go to space to rescue a lost friend and Donn befriends some funky little cute aliens, what is there not to love?

Teen Titans (1966) #32 "A Mystical Realm, A World Gone Mad!": You get to see the JLA as knights which is very funny and it has lots of Wally and Mal moments in the silliest possible form

every now and then I think about the one guy that was in my women's literature class in college who never started shit and would occasionally participate in discussions but didn't really do much besides answer basic questions and whatnot, and no one really paid him mind and it was barely acknowledged that he was the only guy in the class with like 30 girls. and one day he showed up in one of those "menimism" shirts (this was back when those were a thing) and he walked in so proud and participated more than usual and was like arrogantly smiling the whole time but NO ONE even acknowledged that he was wearing that shirt or acted any different when he was talking and he never wore it again and barely participated after that. I think about that dude a lot and what was going on in his head

i absolutely LOVED that twist at the end of episode 4! aside from it making me curious about the next ep and whatnot, i love the trope subversion. you have giseop calling jinwoo who isn't picking up his phone. giseop sees him talking intimately with a girl outside as the automated voice in ear is saying "the number you've dialed is not available." then we see a shocked expression and the dinner giseop bought to share with jinwoo is dramatically dropped on the ground. we all know what that means - surprise and instant jelaousy, heartbreak, what may follow is only a dramatic "jinwoo, what are you doing??"

but nope. cause first, that's not what's happening and second, because that can't happen. because that's not who giseop is. he would not jump to a negative conclusion the way jinwoo instantly would even if the conclusion is the truth (jinwoo IS on a date. what he said to hyejin, though, remains to be revealed and i believe he turned her down in some way or another). had hyejin not been someone giseop deemed dangerous and had his attention not been a hundred percent on jinwoo's safety, he might've been surprised but his reaction would have been much more tame, probably to a degree that would annoy jinwoo (who, i'm fairly certain, would fall for a clear and loud display of affection such as a jealousy fit - being dragged away for safety rather than out of jealousy is a pretty solid move too, though)

point is, even before we realise giseop knows hyejin and we see he's running towards jinwoo with a concerned expression on his face, we should know something is up by the simple fact he would not react like a typical jealous love interest.
