one thing i really appreciate about breaking bad is that the pilot truly goes from 0 to 100. they took that boring chemistry teacher and had him cook meth and get put in dangerous situations and attempt to shoot himself all in one episode

When your son is sitting there calling you his hero— praising the qualities he sees in you that he admires: kindness, patience, dependability, decency. and he’s giving straight from his heart to you in direct emulation of those qualities he loves in you… and you’re sitting there FURIOUS that he is getting attention instead of you. blood BOILING because you are not getting credit for the qualities you WANT him to see in you: power, virility, bread-winning, dominance…

i cannot stop thinking abt the scene when jesse cries in walt’s arms in the crackhouse. it’s been plaguing my brain for months. i’m sitting in class n all i can’t think abt is jesse crying his little orbs out

walt calling jesse son. jesse immediately locking his arms around walt & desperately clinging onto him for support. walt actually seeming to care about jesse’s state for the first time in a WHILE. jesse immediately going from super out of it to WEEPING into his arms. walt’s evil evil little face of guilt after jesse sobs about jane’s death being all his fault.

breaking bad is a comedy show until a Situation occurs & jesse’s crying sucker punches you in the gut

just finished ep5 and pls tell me why Jesse has porn magazines with older women with bellies just lying unashamedly in the RV, like this is an actual thing that is in the show. first the milf milf milf thing from his myspace or whatever and now the porn magazines. I'm literally going insane. This boy has so many mommy and daddy issues and vince really wanted us to know the extent of them 😭 he canonically wants to fuck older people and gets off on the thought of it... like this totally doesn't have anything to do with his attachment to Walt and his need to be accepted praised and cared by him 😐
