I have so much to say about this documentary that I would need to watch it again and keep notes. This wasn't a behind the scenes of the Coronation documentary. William and Kate's youtube short video was better. They could have done a different one for their first year as King and Queen and another one on the coronation. I can't believe we saw more of Camila's bridesmaids than the royal family. We didn't see all the family greeting when they return to BP. They are so obsessed with their image that they would never risk show a clip of all royals preparing for the family photo. Just look the camera angle when Waleses kids were in the Abbey. It was like a hidden camera not to show much.
As for Camila she has to understand that her family aren't members of the royal family and we can't feel attached to unfamiliar faces. She is OK and her causes too but she isn't likeable. It's something she has like her sister. Even though I was OK with her friend her sister seemed so delusional to me. The more you see of someone the more you understand about them. We get it she is the Queen but she could be more gentle on her approach since for many the Queen is still Lizzie. Did Elizabeth every "shout" I'm the Queen or she and Philip tried to convince us on TV they are the perfect couple.
There is no way these two decided she won't be Queen. They just lied for years.
If I'm wrong and Camila isn't like that then her PR team is terrible.

About Uncle Gary, I read somewhere that he wasn't invited to James' wedding and that some years ago, he said he never met Charlotte nor Louis. I didn't check this but if it's true, it's a been a while he is not in the loop.
I think he's met Charlotte but my evidence is flimsy - Uncle Gary was a guest to Pippa's wedding, where Charlotte was a bridesmaid. I find it hard to believe Uncle Gary didn't see/speak to anyone in his sister's family at the wedding. (But I recognize that's my own bias from how my own extended family is.)
It's probably more accurate to say Gary hasn't spent any time with Charlotte or Louis, since it implies that he'd been around the then-Cambridges enough at one point to have met/spent time with George.
But either way, I think you're absolutely right. Gary's not around the Cambridges/Waleses. He probably visits with Mike and Carole the most but William and Kate keep their distance because of the scandals he's had.
Also, about James Middleton real quick -- if anyone needs a palate cleanser from *dumpster fire of the world* check out his Tiktok and give him a follow. His page is called "James and Ella." It's mostly about his pet therapy charity, but all he does is talk about his dogs and gives tips on how to train them. I was really surprised by his voice - I think it's very soothing. Podcast potential, even.

The Telegraph:
if el pendejo harbours any hopes of reconciling with The Prince and Princess of Wales during an expected return to the UK in May, he will likely be disappointed.
El pendejo is hoping to attend a service at St Paul’s Cathedral to mark the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games. His travel plans have not yet been confirmed.
The solo visit could therefore prove an opportune moment to build bridges with his brother, from whom he has been estranged for many months.
But such a development would require will on both sides. And sources close to the Waleses suggest that, with everything else the family is coping with, the “Harry problem” is the very last thing on their minds.
The Prince and Princess of Wales have made abundantly clear to their staff, the wider family and the public that they need time and space to focus on each other and the Princess’s recovery.
William “has always done all he can to protect his family”, a royal source told The Telegraph this weekend. Now, more than ever, he is focused on ensuring her privacy and shielding their children.
The very notion that they would have the mental capacity to face el pendejo is roundly rejected by insiders, who note that the couple now have far more significant concerns requiring their full attention.
Trust in the Dumbartons has been well and truly shattered. If there was a moment they could envisage letting el pendejo back into their inner sanctum, now is not the time.
Prince William currently has the weight of the world on his shoulders.
El pendejo is understood to have dropped his demands for an apology for himself and the celeb, recognising that his attempt to force a reaction had failed.
He has made tentative progress with his father, who of course still loves his younger son and wants him in his life.
But William is a very different character and theirs a very different relationship.
In truth, el pendejo’s best chance of reconciling with his brother was always going to be the Princess, once described as the “big sister I never had”.
Those who know the Princess have long suggested that if anyone could bring the brothers back together it would be her.
But she too was devastated by the allegations made by el pendejo and the celeb, who suggested she was cold behind the scenes, making petty observations about shared lip balms and bridesmaid dress fittings.
Now, the Princess has far more important matters to contend with. She has asked for space and privacy as she focuses on her recovery and has made it clear that her priority is to shield her children.
Many thousands of miles from friends and family, still seeking career direction and purpose, el pendejo may well feel rather remote and cut-off.
The cancer diagnoses of both his father and his sister-in-law will only serve to cement any feelings of isolation or helplessness.
His private messages relayed to Windsor on Friday evening might have been seen as a first step on the road to reconciliation. But el pendejo will have a long time to wait before the Prince and Princess are ready to tackle any further dramas.
*No, The Telegraph did not refer to them as "el pendejo" and "The Celeb”. Unfortunately.

I want to go back to the drama that was no drama this morning for a moment and say a few things.
The 6 hours of that reality show were unnecessary for all that. One hour would have been more than enough.
Harry's comparison of Meghan with Diana is WEIRD. And creepy. One is his mother, the other his wife with whom he had children. How are they basically going to say that M is Diana 2.0?
The NEED to make it clear that M is perfect, the smartest, kindest woman is too egomaniacal.
Their NEED to portray themselves as the absolute victims is almost narcissistic.
The sheer HYPOCRISY of complaining that other Royals were briefing against them when they gave Omid all the information for his book and unlike them, we have proof. AND IT WAS PRESENTED BEFORE A JUDGE.
Interesting that they did not clarify or even mention the alleged comment someone made about the skin colour of their future son.
Interesting how they didn't mention all the drama with the bridesmaids.
Interesting how they complained about Jason's participation in the case - WHO WAS SUMMONED BY THE JUDGE - but didn't deny what he said or at least not that I know of.
Interesting that they didn't mention or complain about their children's titles.
It is extremely hypocritical that they only showed the tweets against them but would not show the tweets, messages written by THEIR FANS- the ones they definitely listen to and read because they repeated almost word for word many of the things they say- where they insult, threaten and verbally mock other family members, especially The Waleses. The only victims can only be them, right?
It is interesting but not at all surprising that they showed no proof of anything at all. The only "proof" is their reactions they were conveniently always recording. Harry and Meghan are so absurdly stupid and entitled that they think their word is enough for people to believe them. Never mind that on that same reality show they lied many times. The bloody hypocrisy of those two knows no bounds.
And it's not at all surprising that they didn't take any responsibility. They did not acknowledge their own faults. They are perfect and the world is against them.
The sad and ironic thing about all of this is that it is more than clear how angry they still feel about leaving the institution. That the institution didn't let them do whatever they one. Because once again it's clear that they really didn't want to leave. They are not thriving and never will because they are stuck in a past they can't free themselves from. Literally because without that past they would have nothing. Now all that remains is the book. I'm sure that the more hopeful among us will believe that after that, they will finally move on. They have said their truth. The world has heard them. 20 months in the institution as a couple didn't give them enough. Still, the most realistic of us know that it won't stop, that they will keep complaining, keep comparing themselves to Diana and keep accusing without proof until even Hollywood gets tired of them.
The saddest part of it all is that they ended up offering their children on a silver platter. They showed more of their children than any other royal has ever done. Ironically they seem more like reality TV stars than royals every day. And all for money. I guess that was always the problem or one of them, they couldn't make money for everything they do, like any other Hollywood celebrity.
