Okay as I mentioned yesterday, I've had this idea of posting what stories I'm reading. One to help keep me accountable because I really want to catch up on all my stories eventually (Currently caught up on 17/45 omg lol) and also to shine a light on other amazing storytellers. Simblr Gratitude Day

I've been in a serious adulting and holiday prep pattern this week and haven't been able to be here much, so I'm behind on a lot of your content and missed this really cool event. But will that stop me from participating? Not one bit! I finally have a moment to chill, so here we go!

Y'all know how much I appreciate you, but I'll never stop expressing it. Whoever came up with this idea, kudos to you! There's often so much negativity in this community and I love that we're not gonna let it win. Let's make spreading love a way of life!

@ladybugsimblr, you are the best co-conspirator collab partner, and I appreciate you putting up with my foolishness on the daily lol. Your friendship has been so refreshing, and I am really glad to know you!

hello, i tried to send a message but it's not working and im having issue's with using the ask box your page (and mines!) but i was the canon who asked, do you have save files/cc/poses or anything you'd recommend for someone starting out?

Hellooo, welcome back to de chaos of my blog lol

The first thing I recommend for anyone that is starting out is to join the Royal Simblr Discord! My girl -> @bridgeportbritt can help with that! You will find there a lot of support, many tips and tricks, CC finds, people willing to do collabs, a positive place to share ideas, etc.

Personally, I don't use any specific save files although, I use several for my Royals. One for my current story, another for their past, and one for me to play around with.

There are plenty of Content Creators that specifically make cc for Royals. I can't list all of them off the top of my head... but these creators do come to mind,

Clothes/Poses/Deco sims -> @thedevilliers @reigningsims @melonsloth @lucky-content

Furniture -> @thejim07 @cliffou29 @felixandresims @harrie-cc

Jewelry -> @batsfromwesteros @normalsiim

Check their blogs out, a lot of their stuff would help bring life to your story. Also, Pinterest helps a lot, here are the ones that I check regularly -> Pinterest 1 Pinterest 2

Also, I know both @thedevilliers and @bridgeportbritt have done a lot of tutorials on Royal Simming so must to check their blogs aswell

Wedding of HIM David I and Miss Katalina Sepulveda | Part 3

First arrival for this group of guests are Duke Emmitt Parker Winston & Duchess Bria Wu-Winston of SimDonia. The Duke arrived in a stunning black military uniform while The Duchess was a pretty picture in pink! This is their first visit to Pierreland and I love them already! @bridgeportbritt

Right behind them is TRH Princess Claire, the Duchess of Asbury and James, the Duke of Asbury looking cute as ever in blue! There seems to be a blue theme going on today! Can I say, I love seeing those two together, they are always so cute and sweet. PLEASE COME BACK TO PIERRELAND! @royalhouseofcarrington

Any who... Right behind them is HM Queen Sofia of Windasia & her cute husband HRH Prince Darien. And can I just say...these two are always so on point. I mean, HM looks stunning with that hat and dress combo and we stan a man who can wear pink and I stan a man who can look as good as his wife everyday of the week! We also have received word that two of their children are in the bridal party and I am excited to see them! @wa-royal-tea

Rounding out our esteemed Guests is HRM Queen Alma of Simovia, His Grace the Landgraaf van Hoensbroek. Ladies and Gents, after this wedding I am jetting off to Simovia to find me my own Landgraaf van Hoensbroek! Also, HRM is looking quite stunning in her green ensemble. She is close friends with the Emperor with sources saying that the two have quite the correspondence going on after bonding as friends at the state visit the Emperor took. Also..whatever is in Simovian water, can we please get some? HRM looks radiant as always, now her daughters are also in the bridal party, I am so excited to see them! they are always so cute! @simoviacourt

SimDonian's Royal State Visit Day~2

For the last day of 'Royal Tour' a garden party was held in Princess Diana's honor. HM King Albert raised a toast in which he expressed his gratitude for having an ally in SimDonian's nation and in Princess Diana herself. After the official part, celebrations began. King Albert admitted that he found an exquisite dance partner in our honorable guest.

Rumor has it that Marquess Augustus Vinsant from Cornwall was highly impressed by Princess Diana's personality and beauty. Will this relation have a chance to develop? I guess we will find out soon...

Uhh so question, can royal legacies be set far in the past? Mine was going to be based off of 16th century Sicily but I worry it might be hard to interact with others if they're all like 19th-21st century.

open call for small collabs!

Without saying TOO much about what I’ve got planned for the next part of my story, I’ve got some openings in my outline for some small-scale collabs, so I wanted to put an open call out for anyone interested!

WHAT KIND OF COLLAB?

Back in Ye Olden Days of royal simblr (summer-fall 2020), it was very common for people to exchange sims for one-off posts. It was a really fun, low-stakes, low-effort way to get to know other people in the community, and I’d like to revive this trend!

The end product of this collab would be a one-off post on this blog with a short news article about an event our sims attended together. (Here’s a few examples of what the end result might look like: 1, 2, 3).

Unfortunately, I don’t have the capacity for taking on larger-scale/more involved collabs right now, so my part of the collab would be just the one post on my blog! If we end up collabing, you are of course totally free to have the collab be a larger event in your own story (and I’ll reblog all relevant posts, naturally!) but I’m not looking to develop new ongoing plotlines or write dialogue for my sims to appear in behind-the-scenes posts on other people’s blogs.

DETAILS

You need to be willing to send me your sims OR host my sims and send me pictures to use for the post

@bridgeportbritt​ put together a few tutorials for collaborating, take a look and lmk if you have questions about the logistics!

You don’t need to be a royal simmer, but you should have sims who might plausibly meet and interact with members of a foreign royal family. Royals, politicians, celebrities, athletes, and non-famous Sims who are high-ranking in their career are all welcome!

If you can, please come up with an idea for what the event would be (i.e., perhaps your celebrity is performing at a gala my sims are attending, perhaps your royal/politician is attending a state dinner in Armorica, perhaps your scientist is receiving an award for their research from a member of my royal family)

I may not be able to collab with everyone! I have no idea what the interest level will be, but if I get more responses than I can realistically handle, I may have to say no. I just want to be upfront about that!

If I end up fielding more requests than I can handle, I will update this post and do my best to immediately notify people I can’t work with right now.

I want these kinds of smaller collabs to be a reoccuring thing on my blog, so if we can’t work together now, we might be able to at a later date!

All simmers are welcome, but I’m giving priority/preference to newer/smaller blogs! Back in Ye Olden Days, my very tiny blog got a HUGE boost from small collabs with established blogs, and I want to spread the love! (not that I’m Simblr Famous (tm) or anything, I’ve just been around long enough to have an established audience (which remains slightly inexplicable to me....an audience? for my pixel barbies??? it’s more likely than you think)

That's a wrap on the Adastead Ball posts! Thank you for everyone that sent me sims! From an event that started as "maybe I want to make this into a collab" it turned into a fun way to capitalize on Blaze's awkwardness while being able to feature other creator's sims!

Which nations have treaties with each other? What are the conditions? How did these arrangements come about?

Awesome question! I’m sure Trenton has some treaties with other simblrs floating around out there probably Whitmore @whitmoreroyals , Simdonia @bridgeportbritt , the one country from @atreanroyals and maybe with Audicia @ardeney-sims and Armorica @armoricaroyalty ? There’s probably others that I can’t remember off hand. I’m now thinking of making a page for all collab related treaties/alliances and such. With the details that you’re asking about. Ooo! And maybe a submission form for future treaties/alliances!

Within my little continent there’s a bunch.

Grateron and Druzar have a long standing treaty/alliance. Basically Grateron will provide navel support when needed and Druzar won’t invade Grateron 🤣

Trenton and Irenda have been allies forever. I can’t really trace it back to any specific events/need. I’ll say that at some point in time the king of Trenton and the king of Irenda became buddies and it all started there. There’s been the occasional marriage between the two countries (Elizabeth and Nathanael being the most recent) but I promise there’s no modern day wreaths happening (though there’s a few in all of my royal families ancestry). The biggest benefit that everyone east of Druzar gets from the alliance is that Druzar has never been able to take Trenton or Irenda during past wars.

Slavell has a bunch of trade treaties with Druzar, Trenton, Grateron, etc. it’s mainly to support the country but also to keep a positive relationship with their neighbors.

The biggest one I can think of is the one Elizabeth (Trenton) made with Kristopher (Druzar) related to trade. Kristopher’s stipulation was the marriage between Ryland and Eleanor. I never worked out the details but I do know Druzar got the better end of the deal even though Kristopher doesn’t think so.
