Ok, so it's clear that Bridget likes Orland... but has anyone considered the fact that Orland looks just like a human version of Challe? Like Orland and Bridget were close growing up, and then Bridget found herself in an arranged engagement with someone else... I think she may have just been projecting her feelings for Orland onto Challe.

Anne and Challe sleeping (not that way) in volume 8, their kiss in volume 11, Challe holds Anne close as a feminine fairy (potentially Lucy, fairy that Hugh [Mercury] owns), Challe loses his memory and they get married at the end

I don't mind waiting-- but this is an exception!

Breaking my silence, after reading vol 6 of Sugar Apple Fairy Tale, i came to really enjoy the platonic relationship Bridget has developed with Anne and Challe

I feel like no one in the fandom enjoy this love triangle like i do sadly (speaking as a love triangle hater here). I like that it actually explores Challe's absolute trust that he had on Anne, as well as exploring the idea of Anne being the one to save Challe, AND also giving Bridget character development. It doesnt feel like the love triangle is just there for drama

The way both Anne and Challe contributed to Bridget's character development, the way they went from Bridget's love rival and love interest to her source of comfort and encouragement are so nice and feels like a breath of fresh air

The anime cut most of their interactions after Bridget lost Challe's wing (esp the interactions between Bridget and Challe) which was a bummer but I do understand that they don't have enough time for it

Also I do like that in the LN, Bridget hasn't developed any romantic affection for Orlando yet during this arc, I think they are cute and I don't hate what the anime did with them but it's nice that the LN focused on her personal growth first before developing the romance
