↓↓↓ rant about the put-put trolls (tbt spoilers)↓↓↓

I've been thinking about the put-put trolls recently because the concept of not all the trolls escaping is so interesting.

I also find it interesting how none of the other trolls ever mentioned that some didn't make it out, in fact if we look at the first movie it starts with Poppy (who doesn't know about the lost trolls) telling a bunch of kids about how King Peppy saved everyone. It sounds like the trolls who were able to remember those who got separated all just agreed to not speak about it.

From what we saw all the put-put trolls look around the same age as Viva and Clay so were they all children when the escape happened?

Did every troll survive or did some un-alive while they were on their way to the mini-golf course, there had to have been at least some injured.

How long did it take the escaped trolls to find the mini golf course and how did they survive?

When they got there did they have to go out looking for supplies or was most of it already in the course?

Viva thought that Poppy was dead, does that mean the Clay thought Branch(and Floyd if he assumed Floyd would stay with Branch) were dead too? Did all the put-put trolls think their families were dead?(i have a head-canon that there's a grave in the mini golf course for all their families)

The put-put trolls took down Bridgette and Gristle easily (THEY'RE SO STRONG WTF) so they all must have had some survival training, are they all trained in combat? If so have they trained to fight big and small threats? If they're not all trained in combat do some of them hold jobs like evacuating younger trolls and medic?

Have they ever had to fight something off? if so what?

How did they learn to disguise themselves as golf balls? (i feel like the golf ball thing is a survival instinct that they've all learned to go into when in danger, kinda like an echidna rolling into a ball)

Have Viva and Clay been running the golf course since they were teens?

They all said "put-put" over and over when they attacked Bridgette and Gristle. (i just think that's silly and cool)

They've been completely cut off from the outside world so they know NOTHING about what's happened(eg. trolls and bergans becoming friends or other types of trolls existing)

If or when they come to meet the family they lost presumably they're going to have to be around bergans and I wonder how long it will take them to get used to being safe around them.

Do you think the put-put trolls feel betrayed that their families were alive and didn't even bother to look for them?

Additionally did any of the put-put trolls set out to see if their families were still alive or attempt to?

okay so I’m finally watching TBT and how come I’ve never heard about branch talking about tiny diamond’s ring pop like it’s drugs. and then asking for it while he’s behind the wheel. why was branch driving under the influence. why was TINY DIAMOND driving under the influence. kind of awesome

also why is bridgette the best character in this movie I’m obsessed with everything about her

from what ive seen around the popular opinion on tiny diamond is "he is annoying and took up too much time" (he is a BABY) so they ignore everything related to him him. which i think is dumb as hell hes cute and a BABY. but branch getting his drugs from a literal infant is really fucking funny. tiny is ONE MONTH OLD

also yeah bridgette RULES shes so fun. i like how even though her life was pathetic during trolls 1 she was apparently hot enough to pull many a man, also apparently a troll? since she assumed jd was one of her ex suitors? how the hell did that happen exactly. since bergens were, you know, hunting them for food. i need details girlie

SO, i had a thought: pls consider Bridgette is in the london metro PDs rolodex, and if they have a case or something involving children that would possibly edge into section 31 territory, she gets called in as well. She also provides the same service in Scotland where she lives.

GEOFF WAS D E A D — those words were still rattling in her brain. The moment Trent told her --- the moment she identified the body and instead of crying simply looked on in horror --- how she was looking at his cowboy hat - the others suggesting she should have it -- and yet the tears still had not fallen. She could see the looks from their remaining friends - looking - w a i t i n g for her to break down. To cry over him -- ready to comfort - but Bridgette instead decided to focus on her friends - the people who were still alive - who needed her help. THEY NEEDED TO PULL TOGETHER TO SURVIVE THIS. 

She was brought back to reality when she felt a hand being placed on her shoulder, she turned slowly around to see Trent. She offered a pained smile --- barely  ❛ - —T-rent… I’m fine... I’m... I’ve got to get ready, it’s my turn to look for supplies... ❜ She was TRYING HER HARDEST - BUT, something about the way he gripped her shoulder, and looked into her eyes a mixture of understanding and comfort just caused the blonde haired girl to break her facade. Looking back at the hat, she brought it close to her chest, muttering Geoff’s name under her breath. Her lip began to shake - she wanted to speak -- wanted to talk to Trent, but --- the sudden hit of emotion. Looking between Trent and the hat clenched to her chest. 

She very slowly put the hat on her head - like Geoff used to do -- with as much care as Geoff used to do as well. As if he was still there with her. ❛ I n--need to keep going, I can’t think of him --- I can’t endanger the others, i can’ t think about--- ❜ she moved her head down to his chest and cried into his shirt.
