Gooooooood morning guys, gals, and nonbinary pals! Admin C here coming in hot with our next (optional) development challenge! This time around, we’re going to be working on Playlists! The name of the game says it all, this one is pretty fun, easy, and self-explanatory! For your character(s), create one or more playlists that encompasses your character’s, well, character! This can be done either OOC or IC, depending on how you’d like to complete the challenge! You can choose songs that your character enjoys (this could be their morning playlist, workout playlist, party playlist, etc.), or your playlist may be comprised of songs that you feel describe or fit your character, perhaps even parts of them that haven’t been shown in the RP yet. BRIGHTWOOD CHALLENGE 001- PERSONALITY QUIZ: You are most like Nancy Wheeler from the Netflix Series Stranger Things.

Nancy is hyper-intelligent and studious, having a high GPA and studying vigorously for tests. However, after entering a relationship with Steve she became more rebellious, lying and participating in activities she most likely wouldn't have done otherwise. While her actions were being influenced by her new “friends”, she still remained kind, sympathetic, and studious. Her genius-level of intellect has led to finding the truth behind Barb’s disappearance even though she still felt guilty.

She was also shown to have a tremendous amount of bravery, resolve, and conviction going to great lengths for those she cared for. When she was looking for the missing Barb, she boldly entered a portal to another dimension in an attempt to save her friend. Later, determined to kill the Monster, she willingly used her and Jonathan's blood to lure it out.

In 1984, after the death of her best friend, Nancy still carried tremendous amount of guilt and even blamed herself for causing Barb's demise. Nancy barely let out her sadness and guilt to anyone except for Steve and Jonathan. However, after getting intoxicated at a Halloween party, Nancy vented out her sadness, anger, and guilt out on Steve which caused her to reveal that she no longer loved him. Although Nancy had no memory of her drunken state the following day, she felt guilty for saying those harsh words to Steve and wondered if she actually meant what she said. After keeping the truth behind Barb's death for a year, Nancy decided to avenge her friend by exposing Hawkins Lab where Barb was finally given a funeral, along with Barb's parents finally getting closure.

When Nancy started working at the Hawkins Post, she strived to work hard and do her best. However, as she was surrounded by misogynistic co-workers, Nancy was belittled and mocked despite her treating her co-workers kindly. Because of the ridicule she received from her co-workers, Nancy was determined to receive the approval and recognition from her co-workers by going through such lengths to be treated equally and respectfully. Nancy's determination to gain the appreciation from her co-workers led her to making decisions without thinking thoroughly which led to her and Jonathan getting fired and putting a strain of their relationship. After a talk with her mother, Nancy overcame the cruelty she endured from the journalists at the Hawkins Post and managed to reconcile with Jonathan.

1: How high is your libido? Very high, most recently.

2: Rough sex or soft sex? It depends on my mood, I suppose. Either.

She has a very snotty attitude and she can be quite a bully to other people, and even treats poorly her "best friends", The Chanels. She can show kindness on occasion, but these displays are usually cancelled out by other bad things she does, or they have an ulterior motive. The deaths of Chanel #4 and Chanel #2 did not even really seem to phase her. Popularity, humiliating, and blackmailing are essential things in her life. Every time Chanel wants something she has to get it, or else, she will make a big scene in front of everyone which involves her screaming and crying because she feels superior and no one can ever tell her to stop because she will start insulting that person physically and emotionally. As a queen bee, she walks with a lot of confidence and is always the center of attention wherever she goes.

Alright friends, as promised we’re here with our next, latest, and greatest development challenge! We’re coming in hot with this one, folkx, so get ready to put your thinking caps on. This Development Challenge focuses on the soulmate aspect of this RP. Below you will find a list of questions to be filled out in character. The answers can be as long or as short as you want, but please remember that this is a development challenge, so you want to really do just that- challenge yourself and your character. Really explore the topics presented, and get everything you can out of it. And remember, these will be public for other students to read. So, paying attention to the answers of others can help your character in identifying who their soulmate might be, or anyone they may want to speak with more. 1.) Everyone in this world is aware that Guardians and Guardeds have one soulmate, one member of the other classification they’re destined to be with for their entire lives. How did you first learn that you’d have a soulmate? Who first told you? How was the topic introduced? (i.e. parents could use this as a bedtime story, perhaps a grandmother told the story, etc.)

2.) How do you feel about having a soulmate? Soulbonds? 

3.) What is your strategy for finding your soulmate? Do you have one? Why not, if no?

4.) What are you looking for in a soulmate? What do you think you need? (For example, Eddie Kaspbryk is very high strung, and becomes stressed easily with worry about a variety of things- Emmett’s carefree nature and spirit help to calm that, and even that out. Meanwhile, Emmett’s spastic and at times unfocused energy is calmed by Eddie’s organized and structured nature)

5.) What specific personality traits do you usually look for in a partner? Do you believe your soulmate will have those traits, or do you think they’re someone different?

6.) Is there any specific reason you believe you have not yet found your soulmate?

7.) Often times, Guardeds and Guardians choose to adopt a D/s lifestyle after bonding. Is that a tradition you’re interested in pursuing? Why or why not?
