The thing is, what if Optimus DID want to replenish the Autobot ranks himself as broodmother. But let's say that once he became Prime, he found he was barren. He tried, over and over again, to get pregnant but couldn't. He was devastated to learn that he couldn't have bitlets of his own, so he was living vicariously through Ratchet. Why didn't they go after him? Optimus knew the Decepticons would take better care of him, and feeling guilty he couldn't care for his broodmother himself.

This eventually comes out in a tear filled confession while begging Ratchet for forgiveness, for not taking care of him, for not coming after him, for not being able to do his duty. Ratchet, being a broodmother himself and is now actually able to enjoy it, couldn't possibly imagine how it would feel to not be able to have sparklings. Of course he new about Optimus being barren, he was his primary physician after all, but he didn’t realize how much it affected him. He figured Optimus just preferred spiking, but the moment Ratchet tries playing with his valve, Optimus practically melts, having a much more intense reaction than when his spike was being milked. Ratchet had noticed how Optimus still seemed unsatisfied even after getting milked, he had figured it was just him being a Prime and literally built different, but now he knows better. Optimus wants more. He wants his own bitlets, but cries knowing he can't carry them himself.

Ratchet explains this to Megatron and Megatron goes to see for himself. Ratchet pulls up Optimus' medical files, Megatron gets his medics to conduct their own evaluation, and he goes to visit Optimus himself. Optimus fights and is feisty the whole time, at least until Megatron gets his spike in him. Then it takes very little to get the Prime begging for more. Though he does notice that Optimus never once asks to be sparked, but seems reluctant to let Megatron overload anywhere except in his valve. Megatron asks if he wants to be sparked, wants to be a broodmother like himself and Ratchet, and is met with a sorrowful "yes". Not out of shame but of longing, knowing something is just out of reach but can't hope to obtain it.

Good news, it's fixable! It seems that the Matrix wasn't the issue and was something else, in fact the Matrix should make Optimus twice as fertile as he would be otherwise. Bad news, it'll take extensive surgery and recovery time meaning they'll be out of their best stud. But the trade off would be obtaining yet another fertile broodmother to help repopulate Cybertron.

Optimus agrees to the surgery and the implications, and the relief is so great he could cry. In fact, he does once he gets the news. Once he has fully recovered, Megatron and Ratchet drag him to their nest, the very room he found them in months ago, and get him ready for his imminent breeding.

Ratchet is at Optimus' side the whole time, cooing in his audials how well he's doing and how good it will feel to finally be able to push out the little ones once it finally comes time. Meanwhile, Megatron is bullying his valve and wrecking the Prime, whispering dirty fantasies about how he'll never have to worry about not having sparklings again since he'll always be pregnant, about how they'll keep him bed ridden and have studs rotating around to keep the Prime full and sated, even about joining Ratchet and Megatron in nightly threesomes. Optimus is lost from the moment he overloads around Megatron's spike and drinks up the attention.

However, once he actually is pregnant he can't shake the guilt of how he treated Ratchet and feels he doesn't deserve to be treated so highly as a broodmother. Not to worry though! Ratchet and Megatron are slowly fucking the insecurities out of him, making him a happy, dumb, little broodmother.

Soon there are three pregnant mommies lined up in a row on an massive berth, holes stretched wide and drenched in cum and their own fluids, in their own hazy little worlds being bred and kept sated and pregnant at all times. Even the Matrix is happy! Not a care in the world since everything is already taken care of. Not a single thought except for when the next breeding session is <3

Yessss drag Optimus in... Everyone knows a good leader produces more soldiers for their cause. Megatron could do it, but Optimus... could not. Leaving that duty to rest solely on Ratchet’s shoulders made Optimus as guilty as it made him horny. Seeing Ratchet waddling around, overworked and tired and heavily pregnant sent a pang of pain through his spark, yet he couldn’t help but keep him full. He knew they needed soldiers, and that he couldn’t make any, but Ratchet was here and he looked so wonderful when carrying.... Optimus would spend his nights awake, thinking about how he would give anything to have a belly like that... mhmm

They’re very lucky that Optimus’ problems can be fixed now that he has enough time on his hands to go out of commission for a while... I am so obsessed with the fantasy of Optimus clinging to Ratchet while Megatron breeds him. He’s so overcome with emotion that he turns into a mess, his moans nothing but wet static and valve squirting with every fat load of transfluid shot into his freshly recovered gestation tank... Ratchet tells him all about how well the decepticons treat their broodmammas. How he won’t have to worry about a thing because the studs on site will keep him full and satisfied and he and Megatron will stay with him.

mhmmm I’m thinking about all three of them going into labour at the same time, but it’s Optimus’ first time giving birth... He’s so worried, but seeing those experienced valves push out babies like it’s nothing really helps to ease his nerves.

megatron’s broodmother coding causes him to start lactating when he hears a desperate distress frequency, similar to humans when a baby is crying… it’s only slightly problematic during the war because he can easily disregard injured autobots’ frequencies and his own brood can’t be weakened so he nurses them all of course, but after the war and his trial he can move surprisingly fast despite being constantly heavily pregnant when he can sense a frequency that seems like they need nurturing… someone can trip and dent themselves and right away have a faceful of breast, or anyone drained or depressed can come to his quarters and nurse from him until their frequency loses its distressed edge

oh man, lately i've been really into bots having triggers that make them lactate uncontrollably, it's just really hot. Megatron's broodmother coding just cannot stand the distressed frequency, his nozzles immediately start to drip and leak when someone is sad or scared in his presence, and he wants nothing more than to soothe them...

swerve finally gets his turn to breed mommy megatron according to the lost light’s schedule spreadsheet, but only one or two little sparklings result from it unlike the big healthy litters that everyone else sires

and he’s kinda bummed out, especially because the little sparklings don’t suckle nearly as much, and megatron is uncomfortable and irritable with so much built up milk all the time

but he can fix that by hoisting swerve up and offering to let him nurse too, and swerve is awkward at first, but gets overjoyed to be held in big comforting arms and drink down rich energon

someone else has to take their turn breeding him soon, but swerve can still nurse any time he likes ☺️ he’s warm and held and comforted and loved

owww... poor Swerve. It's so embarrassing to be the sire of Megatron's smallest litter, but he's trying to not let it get to him. The bitlets are chunky and adorable, that's all be can ask for, though the trouble of their nursing quickly irritates Megatron... They drink so little, his breasts are heavy and uneven, he really needs someone determined enough to help drain them... Swerve would never shut up about his exclusive right to drink from Megatron's tits whenever he wants...

of course tarn has a mommy kink. unfortunately, since he’s in the minority of decepticons who aren’t megatron’s brood, he very rarely gets the opportunity to nurse from him… and he’s never been allowed to sire for reasons that haven’t really ever been explained to him but he’s not allowed to question them… and his chances get lower every time he slips up and calls megatron mommy out loud, not a very attractive habit

AJGSH this is kind of driving me crazy. I love it when we get horny and silly. aw, Tarn wishes so badly he was one of Megatron's brood… or in his line-up of sires. Really, any way he can be held to Megatron's breast, he will take it. It's so funny he's so pushy about it, “accidentally” calling Megatron mommy any chance he gets, weirding him out further. that one episode of armada where the autobots don't know where new decepticon soldiers come from so when Megatron goes inactive they assume it's their time to strike so they manage to get to the decepticon base and mow down all the 'cons, who already look super distracted, until they get to Megatron and he's curled up in his bed, lying on his side, a couple sparklings already latched on his titties as he pushes out a third one. he looks so pitiful they all lower their weapons. and then Megatron pulls out his fusion cannon and blows them out of the room or something

i’ll never stop fantasizing about ratchet being trusted enough to help tired and content broodmother megatron deliver his large litters, at least 3 or 4 fat and hardy sparklings for each gestational period, after breedings with the autobot crew (scheduled by name and position of course)… but ratchet hasn’t taken a turn yet, as it feels weird as he’s conjunxed to drift, who megatron of course carried, and who also helps with every birth

but megatron’s fertility is so overwhelming and sexy, especially now that all of his breasts are never not bare, either being suckled on or leaking tasty energon anyway, and he’s staying nearer to the medbay now as he can’t walk around as much… everyone is starting to give ratchet weird looks as he’s one of the only mechs on the ship who doesn’t have sparklings with his features running around or clinging to their broodmother

so he eventually asks drift if it’s alright to put himself on the schedule… and drift is just fine with it, even a bit confused as, when megatron still led the decepticons, anyone who proved strong enough was able to breed him, regardless of relationships… it was an honor for most, especially because of the resulting gift of powerful sparklings to raise

and, after a slightly long gestational period, there are five or six chunky red sparklings with tiny perfect medic servos who scatter themselves across the medbay all day long, rolling around, and snuggling in a big pile at the end of the day, and all is well ☺️ now it’s someone else’s turn

Ratchet is always there to help deliver his sparklings, always coaxing his babies out of his valve with his hands, a little snippy but also gentle with Megatron, making sure his births go as easy as they possibly can. Megatron's own experience makes that easy. Ratchet would say that he doesn't even need to be there, Megatron does a fine job birthing on his own. But Megatron feels most comfortable when the trusted medic is there to watch over him in case any complications arise...

But the latter is just an excuse for his hang-ups. Honestly, Drift thought Ratchet just wasn't interested... Amongst the decepticons, breeding Megatron was just something everyone wanted to do one day, you know.

mhmmm Megatron is extremely satisfied and even happy to see that Ratchet is lined up in the schedule. He trusts the doctor to make some really good little ambulances. They always need more medics <3

I also think that Drift teases Ratchet about how he's both a stepdad and a brother to Megatron's latest brood, though. It's sooo funny to him.

i think if megatron started continuously carrying and birthing again starscream wouldn’t be disturbed so much as recognizing from experience that the new sparklings are sort of doomed to be soldiers from birth… maybe he gets at least some sort of vindictive pleasure from how painful the birthing process looks and how he gets to see megatron in agony for once (if he’s allowed to supervise, if only so megatron can have someone to scream at)… but seeing the sparklings nurse while megatron firmly but gently cleans the afterbirth off makes him just jealous in a primal but inherent sense

Obviously, idw Megatron nursing fat little autobot babies is the best fantasy. He deserves to be the lost light's big, scary, but ultimately harmless broodmomma <3 But I’ve really been into Armada Megatron being a broodmother, mostly because I'm revisiting the show and my brain is latching onto it, but I can definitely give a coherent reason why I think it fits… But that’s a long story.

Starscream is absolutely conflicted between pitying and hating any new sparklings… they’re all just born into this world to die for Megatron, and Megatron doesn’t even care. By the time most of his oldest litters die in battle, Megatron has birthed so many more soldiers that he doesn’t even remember the older ones anymore. It's sad. That, and Starscream is jealous…. he's jealous of every single one of Megatron’s young that receives a sliver of affection, still more than he was ever given. watching him suffer through birth gives him some satisfaction, at least. Starscream gets to assure himself that he must have hurt Megatron as much, if not more, while he was being born as well. It's a sick feeling, but it keeps him satisfied... for now.

I love the idea of Megatron becoming nothing more than a Slobbering hole in peace cause I think he would view that as the Ultimate victory.

Cybertron is now governed by his ideals and laws and he's not even enforcing it. He's safe and pampered and any children he has are born into a world he designed and he doesn't have to work to maintain it because the system maintains itself.

He can let himself become nothing but a set of holes to be filled with Transfluid.

Maybe all the constant fragging, birthing and not moving has affected his mind, casting a permanent hazy film over all his thoughts, slowing his mind down. After all, a good pampered Broodmother doesn't need to think. 💜

yessss, it's such a good fate... Megatron doesn't have to worry anymore, doesn't have to stay vigilant, doesn't have to fight for his right to live. He's plump and pampered and his children are taken care of... it's everything he could have ever hoped for.

Oh, all those overloads and birthing keep him very docile and calm, his processor always hazy with dull charge. He doesn't think. He doesn't have to. All his energy is now deposited into his body, specifically the over-active gestation tank and wet valve.

While were talking broodmother Megatron, may I make a suggestion?

Remember that ask about fools energon being a fertility aid?

Heres my proposal. Do to being starved, abused, backstabbing and in constant battle, Megatron was about as fertile as a rock before and during the war.

However, he also has dormant Broodmother Protocols, which is partially why he's so cranky. Mama is unable to get Pregnant cause the environment is bad for babies :(

However, this changes when Megatron joins the lost light.

See, the autobot command made the assumption that Megatron is barren based on past data from the war, so the Fool's Energon was only meant to make him sluggish and a little horny.

Instead, it kicked Megatrons Broodmother Protocols from 0% to 100% in the span of a week.

Now the Lost Light has a very content Mama who's having their first litter after YEARS of wanting babies but not being able to.

And the Lost Light has absolutely no plans on handing him over ever. That's their Mama now.

oOoh that's good. the Autobots had no way of knowing that fool's energon was going to have such an intense effect on Megatron. And he probably didn't know either.

What he does know, however, is that one day his processor goes completely haywire. At first he thinks they've done something to him, maybe he freaks out a little, but a simple medical scan, which he is welcome to look at and examine, prooves that his broodmother protocols have activated. Megatron finds that he feels oddly... satisfied knowing that. The next day he's riding spike like he was made for it.

A few months down the line he's cradling a big baby bump and there's no way the crew is letting Megatron be jailed.

To earn forgiveness I offer the idea of broodmother Megatron having valve teeth as a way of making sure he only gets strong sires. If your spike is good and your frame is sturdy, you should have no trouble filling his hungry valve and dealing with the tearing. Weak spikes that don't fill Mommy's valve get bit right off, there's no reason any of his cons should walk around with that pathetic excuse of a spike or it makes everyone look bad

Just because Megatron's valve is always uncovered, wet and inviting, it's not for anyone. Megatron is a picky momma, he needs big studs with fat spikes who are willing to withstand some pain to create strong soldiers. He suffers the pain of childbirth to bring forth new soldiers, why should the studs only get pleasure? Those who cannot handle the teeth rippling down against their spike will get it cut off immediately. Megatron won't tolerate whiny studs.

That, and I bet it's good for protection. Megatron uses up a lot of energy during pregnancy, he's not always up for a fight, especially not when he's just about to pop. If someone undesirable tries to shove their spike into him, he has the liberty to snap it off. He chooses whose seed goes inside of him.
