She wouldn't let anyone hurt him. She heard how horrifying those places could be that she wouldn't make jay go through that, especially considering she could teach him how to use his element. So jay was adopted by lilly and lou broostone, being named jay brookstone Cole gaing a brother in the process Lou intaily being distant with jay until he saw jays love for dancing saying to lilly this kids a brookstone. Jay would grow up with Cole not knowing he's adopted Cole and him being inseprbal than lilly would be passing away Cole having gotten into a fight with a kid defending jay from an attacker she would make Cole promise to always help those who deserved it. Jay making the same promise. Years pass than one day would go missing Cole becoming distressed at his brother missing Lou going into a slight depression at jays absence until a not turned up at their door step telling them jay was ok with a picture as proof jay in some kind of blue pijamas and a old man in a sensi robe standing next to him jay looked happy. Cole ran away from home because he wasn't gonna be a dancer he wanted to be with his younger brother following the notes map and instructions finding his brother running to punch him for making him worry so much jay and Coles relationship remains much the same after this Zane joins kai they save nya then it comes to sky bound were the real fun begins sorry jay.

So jay makes those stupid wishes but nit the normal ones. Instead, he noticed his dad acting strange after a mysterious man showed up with a letter and wish to know why. Nadkan smilling as he does.

He would get the letter and learn his 'father' passed away running to tell Cole they imdently head to the house to see thier dad very much alive standing there jay questions the letter only for Lou to tell jay to sit and Cole to stay there he hears sobbing and pleas from jay. Lou explains to jay everything and the fact he's adopted jays crying and then hugging his dad jay leaves the room with lou hugging him. Jay turns to Cole and explains everything and Cole reasures jay that he'd his brother.

When jay delete the time line he does have to retell Cole he's adopted.
