❈ Meeting other gifted has become something Atsushi has gradually gotten used to. But even as he’s become accustomed to the powerful and strange people that now fill his life, he would be taken aback as you transform into a wolf in response to an incoming attack. He’d be in awe of your gift- before he’d realize what this could mean.

❈ At first, Atsushi would be a little distant, almost trying to push you away. He sees being with him as dangerous, and since he cares about you he doesn’t want you to get hurt

| ✧ Especially if you’re also being hunted for the ability, he could never forgive himself if you were caught because you were with him.

| ✧ But once you show him that you can take care of yourself and that you’re willing to risk it to stay with him, it’d be like a 180.

❈ Atsushi falls hard and fast, he goes from finally getting comfortable with someone to crushing like a middle-schooler in a heartbeat. If you were looking at the right time, you could probably see the blush cross his face when he realized his feelings for you.

❈ I feel like “courting” would be a while with him if you don’t make the first move. He just thinks you’re so incredible it would take him a long time (and a lot of hinting from you) until he worked up the courage to actually ask you out.

❈ But your relationship would be super sweet after that, he’s so thoughtful and makes sure that he balances his responsibilities with spending time with you!

❈ He’d absolutely love cuddling into your fur if you’re comfortable with it, you could even take turns! Whether you’re both transformed or just one of you, fluffy cuddles would be the best!

Actually, I really love how the movie begins and ends with Atsushi having deep, unconditional trust in Dazai's goodness, going even beyond what Dazai thinks of himself. It's such a nice pattern as well as compelling theme to explore. Their relationship makes me soft.
