so I've started reading Journey to the West, and I more or less knew what to expect from Sun Wukong going in, no surprises there. Tripitaka, on the other hand, completely knocked my feet out from under me... I am enchanted

So I saw a few posts describing how the Pit’s in Jason’s body kinda acted on its own accord when spotting Danny “baby ghost” Phantom/Fenton and how they then co-parent with a half dead “baby” teenager.

But I raise YOU the idea that the Pits is already parenting Jason Todd.

When the Pits take over it’s the simple response of a Mama Bear going feral on some humans for making their little baby upset.

Jason disappointed by Batman?

The Pits snarl and rage at the man that made baby sad!

Jason disgusted at the idea of another Robin lined up for death?

The Pits howl and claw through the skin to fix the situation by beating the humans up so they can’t die!

Jason vulnerable and lost by the lack of acceptance in his return as Red Hood?

The Pits screech, biting furiously into the humans that had caused the baby to feel un-included in their games!

No one understands the reason for the Lazarus Pit’s in Jason’s body to constantly be acting up, that is until Danny comes into the picture and is like, “So your ghost parent is always watching you too, huh?” In reference to his own ghost parent (Clockwork) that likes to watch through his little tv’s on what Danny gets up to and sends a multitude of sticky notes like a distant helicopter mom.

buddie bringing out the doofus silly goose in each other. matching bachelor party costumes. where is your spare. we can’t rotate the couch or the pizza will fall off. it’s a locked yard mystery. buddie boyfriends era is like two teenagers at a sleepover. poor chris the actual teenager has to deal with them rapidly oscillating between being fun to hang out with and being so mortifyingly cringe. maddie can’t do double dates because she spent enough of her life babysitting evan she does NOT need to babysit eddie too. buck gets to be in love with his best friend. eddie gets to release his death grip on responsibility, because there’s more than one set of hands holding on. they have each other’s backs. they fight and they struggle and they compromise and they support each other and they grow as individuals AND they get to feel likes kids again.

me figurin' out gorgug's tats for that thistlecaster fic i wrote lol. i spent so long thinking about this fic by myself that there's going to be more art from it. i brain rotted so bad from writing it lmao. 🥲

the back tat and the lil X are from timeskip things in the fic, but the arm ones incl the one on his forearm are the ones he got in sophomore year. :) the triangle shapes were my take on the geometric shapes that are actually a language, and what they translate to is there too. ✨️
