Pokemon Crossbreeds: Bumblebee
Bumblebee is the name for members of the Combee line with a Joltik/Galvantula father. This breed is rare since Vespqieun rarely ever want to mate with mon that aren't Combee, seeing most other bug types as enemies. The breed was named after their fluffy bodies.
Combee
Because Vespiquen often see other bugs as enemies, crossbreed combee are often driven out of their hives. This isn't that bad for female Combee, who are better suited to be by themselves, but it's often a bigger problem for male combee who rely on others to survive. This breeds fluffy bodies help them carry more pollen, which is good if they're living on their own.
Vespiquen
Bumblebee Vespiquen have similar behaviors to standard Vespiquen, but they tend to be more gluttonous and aim for prey instead of just eating honey. Since Vespiquen have a natural instinct to lead, the ones that were driven out of hives tend to find other lone Combee and make hives with them. Hives that are run by crossbreed Vespiquen tend to have a smaller population but are more tight-knit and accepting of new members.
Anyways, Vespiquen. Like Galvantula, these Vespiquen will set traps to catch mon that come by. The hives they make can also often resemble spider webs as well.

art by @emubugg hope you don’t mind me sharing
but I’ve just been thinking about Dionea again and I really need to draw something rendered of her
So, silly little introduction time
Dionea was born and raised in Paldea, though her mother was from Galar. Like everyone else she went to school at Naranja Academy, she was actually in Gheeta’s class, and two or so grades below professor Sada
She’s a Chaotic academic and is overall high energy and super social. She thrives on wonderlust and doesn’t really have a sense of fear. As long as she isn’t stuck insider doing paperwork she’s happy, regardless of if it’s hunting down cryptic/rumors, getting bugs out of people’s homes, or just being an unintentional menace to people on their journeys (She caught her Slither Wing during her treasure hunt just by tracking down the rumors listed in an Occulture Magazine)
After graduating Naranja Academy they went on to be the Medali Gym leader, except, that lasted for like a month before they decided she hated it and just fucked off to research bug Pokémon, which was her true passion dating back to her early school years (her mother gifted her a sizzlepede as her starter, and it sparked her life long interest in bug types)
Except, They didn’t fill out any of the required paperwork so Gheeta is furious at them, and she is generally not welcomed around the league in Paldea, they all (mostly) still like her, it’s more that Dionea messed everything up and they aren’t really supposed to greet her in a formal sense
They kinda show up all over the place and in multiple different regions, however their books are actually some of the most comprehensive and highly viewed books on bug type pokemon
I do have more but I don’t want this to be super long, so I’ll just drop some shit posts and call it a post

Hi. So I had an egg, and it hatched, and it's a wimpod.
I have no idea how to take care of a wimpod.
Any tips. Pretty please?
- @bug-catcher-lily
Wimpod Care Tips
Okay, what you need to know about Wimpod is that they are VERY skittish and will run at the first sight of danger. If you want to battle with Wimpod, you need to make sure it trusts you completely to make sure nothing bad happens to it.
Other than that, Wimpod are opportunistic scavengers and can and will steal your food, even if you keep them well fed. But I like to call what they have "the snom treatment." It's when a small bug type needs to eat a lot of food than one would think of them. So, giving them large portions for the meals is basically a requirement.

Other than that, Wimpod need a place with water (no, bathtubs don't count). Depending on the variant, you will need either a freshwater or a saltwater tank. If possible, you could also make a small pond area for them in a yard.
While wimpod can usually keep themselves clean, you should still bathe them from time-time-. Make sure you get soap made specifically for them since their skin can be damaged by the soap that we use.
Wimpod live in groups in the wild because of the whole safety in numbers thing. Getting them a friend is a good idea as well.
