I will gatekeep this shit for life unironically because it just goes to show how fucked up these two really are

Triffany was prepared to die, that's no new fact, I think for me it's the tone of her voice when she just kinda gets hit in the face that he's actually dead before her. She excepted him to live on after her.

Realizing she's never going to actually have him back (vice versa with Wambus), I love the fact on both Wambus and Triffany's end lines, in some way shape or form, they don't go back on the fact they're going to keep each other alive, physically or not.

Throughout the game they may or may not even talk much, but I feel like their company with one another just goes to show how much they really care.

I love talking about Wambus' lines, even with her gone he'll find some way or some how to remember her.

I love Wambus' lines because of mainly the fact he's going to remember her more than anything, which from what I've seen of Triffany is something she wanted. She wanted to remember her Grandma, and now someone is going to Remember her. It's actually pretty sweet when you think about it.

Especially the lines 'Everything you and me ever did', from what we saw in game, they didn't do much together. But from the way Wambus talks about her, she seems so nice, understanding of him, they seemed to have spent a lot of time together, pre-snaktooth.

Wambus realizing he's not ever going to see her again, regrets the time they weren't together. But now he has time to make up for it, by continuing her and his own legacy together.

In short I really really really love these old Grumps and nothing will ever change my mind about them I love them 🧍🧍

I know I've talked about Spike before, how they're not originally from the Bugsnax universe and stuff, but I wanted to give their Grumpus form a redesign :3

Spike is Demi-gender and Aroace, with They/It pronouns :33

Spike was found and adopted by Wambus and Triffany when they were just an egg after the two found their egg randomly (finding and adopting kids you find runs in the family ig)

Spike does know about their powers, shape-shifting, but from the stories they were told as a youngin by Triffany, never bothered to use them

Spike is actually 20 years old, which is a year younger than Filbo and extremely shy. They bond with Wambus a bit more after getting stuck on Snaktooth (after the events of main game) with the Bugsnax being more hostile.

( Chapter 5 spoilers so skip this if you haven't read it)

Spike feels terrible knowing they're the one who got Wambus infected by the Bugnsax after letting him fall into the Jam, thinking it was just the bugsnax pretending to be him and not actually Wambus. (Yes, Spike was the one pretending to be Lizbert and Eggabell)

They still don't trust themselves and are really hesitant around Grumps now after that. They only really talk with Wambus, and Triffan, and Filbo, and Floofty.

Spike used to be close with Beffica, but now they've noticed some things about her that make her seem a bit suspicious ever since returning to Snaktooth and have kept far away from her.

Sorry for my long rant, I just love Spike sm :3

You guys know what time it is — the three year anniversary of everyone’s favorite kinda-bug-and-kinda-snack game! In an effort of both love and admittedly, a little bit of masochism, I figured now is a good time to do my rite of passage as a Bugsnax fan and redraw the group photo in the end credits.

I don't want to get too sappy, but Bugsnax holds a very special place in my heart. It’s probably one of the first media I got into where I actually enjoyed interacting with the fans. The fandom really felt like a community rather than just a bunch of cheap likes and reblogs, and that’s what really drew me to make this blog!

I want to thank all of you guys for the great times! I can’t wait to see what the future holds for both the game and the community.
