gaaahhhh it’s so frustrating trying to find information about exercising with pcos because everything that comes up is just about losing weight and nothing of actual substance. what if I don’t give a fuck about changing a number on a scale or a clothing tag and i want to actually support my body and my long term health? absolutely ridiculous and infuriating.

idk today was my day three and i had a longer session than either of my previous ones but i felt good the whole time. even when i was sweaty and tired and needed to call it for the night, i didn't feel like i'd just used up all my energy or gritted my teeth through something unpleasant but necessary. i almost wanted to push for just one more level because i was feeling really pumped up
and like i've felt good about exercise before. i've done long hikes and been proud of that. but this was like...you know, a lot of classic bodyweight and strength exercises, and i felt like i was doing well at them. i didn't get that "seven pushups in i just want to stop and that makes me feel pathetic" feeling i've had in the past
