What would TG characters name their cats (or other pets)?

OMG OMG OMG THIS IS GONNA BE FUN

I tried to do this with characters I like, and like, other big characters.

So, starting with the Boy:

Shuu:

He would absolutely give his pets a long French or European name!

I do think he has several pets, cats included!

When I think of Shuu and cats, my mind immediately goes to something like Gabriella or Antoine.

I also think he’d name them after flowers! He probably has to get to know his pets first, and then gives them a name when he understands their personalities a bit more.

Like, Tsubaki and Sakura!

I hc him as having horses called Fleur, Edelweiss (Ede), Kuroyuri, and Marie!

Touka:

I think she’d give her cats really awful names. Something like Pisstain or Buswanker.

Which is fine for a cat, but I imagine she’d impulsively name her dog something like Little Fecker, and then would run around in public screaming after it, regretting that decision.

Kaneki:

He would give them slightly fancy, but mostly vanilla names.

Like, Luna or something.

Naki:

He’d have no idea what he was doing. Would probably call his cat like, Cheese or something.

Koma:

Similar to Naki, but more thought-out.

I think he’d name his cat like, Pepe or something. He was probably around in the Pepe days of the interwebz, so he names his cat that. For the memories.

Rize:

She’d adopt a cat and keep the name the shelter gave it.

Kiyoko (CCG Milf):

We know almost nothing about her but I couldn’t just leave her out of this.

I think she’d be similar to Rize, but I also think she’d give her pets human names too.

Hide:

Cowboy names.

He has a goldfish called Jedidiah. His cat’s either called Bandit or like, Cleetus.

I think that’s all the characters I can think of for now. Maybe I’ll do a part 2!
