I feel like a scientist running around looking up the nutrition facts of peanut m&ms and then pulling up the effects of different macronutrients as fuel for running to determine if it’s a good fuel source before experimenting on myself

#i mean basically junk food = good running food but peanut m&ms have a surprising amount of fat #and weirdly I don’t think it’s from the peanut #but the carb to protein ratio is pretty solid and it’s got electrolytes and one package is like the perfect hourly amount of calories #but Ik fat can cause gi distress and I forget why #but also I ate an egg salad sandwhich on my run the other day and that was fine so #running #I do this so often #but also I was reading an article that validated my beliefs about chocolate milk being the perfect post run drink lol
