mentioned twice now that I think we need to start getting the kids to eat lunch in the shady side of the courtyard again because where they are currently, there’s no shade at all, we’re forcing kids to sit in the full sun for like 20 then 15 minutes a day when the UV is already high enough to require sun protection and there’s always at least a couple who don’t have a hat, and then today I did get them to eat over there
and idk she doesn’t seem to care lol and had them back in the full sun again and I’m like :|
#me: I think we should do this because I’m worried about the kids for this reason#her: good idea *continues to ignore me*#and then meanwhile they’re so protective of the kids for other reasons like oh no don’t possibly climb on top of the monkey bars#but exposing them to potential sun damage every day? yeah nbd#and the annoying thing is that I’m p sure it’s just because she feels the cold and wants to be in the sun#which is understandable but we’re literally risking sunburn with these kids every time they eat currently…#and *i* got mildly sunburnt yesterday and I was out there for less time than they were :|
