Ok now bare with me this may not mean anything but I can't stop thinking about it as it has to mean SOMETHING because why else would Jack act it out??? In episode 5 of season 2 the crows go to Shu-Han where Suntsa Sar is happening. Now Tolya says this to these three as they are the only ones sitting around.

And then Kaz and Jesper reply with this

Now, what is interesting is this. Wylan's reaction to Tolya talking.

He looks surprised. He looks shocked but then shakes it off.

Now while this may be just a reaction to what Jesper says. Thats BORING. And he starts to look this way before Jesper even begins talking. You know what I think? I think he was thinking of his mother in this moment. Wylan doesn't know she is alive and still thinks she is dead. When he heard Tolya saying it's considered bad luck to not honor the dead, that got a reaction out of Wylan that it didn't the others. He wanted to honor his mother.

And with everything that has happened in his life he probably hasn't had time to probably mourn her or even honor her in death. But now there's a chance he could. Even though he leaves to buy powders a part of me thinks maybe he did make a small alter for her in secret later on. Even if it was just for a few moments, he wanted to thank her for everything she did for him.

If the first screenshot and this one are the same hug and that arm over her left shoulder in this ^ shot is actually his hand, then her hands are definitely grabbing his coat. And so thinking if that’s the case,

Then this will be after that embrace when they pull away. And the thought of this being their second one is just getting more sure because it’s just his right hand on her face now. If we think that first hug and that his right hand is cradling her face, then it would make sense for it to stay there. And his left being behind her neck in the first hug, after pulling away I imagine he keeps it on her side, maybe her hand is in his, or it’s just resting against his own side. But relaxes and falls back onto her heels (think that she’s sitting on her knees), and this very much looks like in game when there’s that silent moment after they pull away and she nods after he talks to her. Game knowers, you know what I mean. But in those few seconds in the game and in that silence, they get up and leave right after. But here?

She embraces him again instead, and he takes it all in with the eye close. Not on high alert, just comforting her

Hate Western naming conventions because the whole fandom would be making different headcannon last names for a character with a known parent and I'd sit there thinking "guys we literally know their parents just give them their names" and I'd start calling them in my head using our naming conventions then I'd remember that the West doesn't work like that and I'd be like "FUCK NOT AGAIN" because now I will never be able to unname them that in my head and this is the 50th time it happened
