I love imagining Caleb and Essek adopting 47 cats together once they settle down

But do you think Caleb just cant bring himself to adopt any black cats after what happened to Cree

aHHH oh the thought of the wizards adopting lots of cats together is so cute, and so is Caleb maybe having a weakness for black ones after Cree ;;

But also, my heart will always just belong to widomauk, so I do love to think--Kingsley finding little cats that stow away on his ship and bringing them back to the tower for his wizards. And just, the way Lucien was so very attached to Cree, and how it gave Molly this fondness for black cats from the very beginning. Molly's first word aside from Empty being "cat," and just how sweet he is. (Also Lestera kept a cat too?? Love the thought of Molly always having a partner with cats--)

Kingsley still remembering the warmth and fondness in Caleb's voice when he said, "We have a habit of taking in strays." King being this lost stray that Caleb couldn't help taking in, and King rescuing other strays to bring to him in return. Caleb and Essek's tower being full of all kinds of cats, a place of so much warmth and comfort, a nice reprieve when King wants to get away from Darktow.

Also, I feel like Essek probably brings home these very majestic, fancy cats, and King will find just like the most feral, scruffy little kittens and Caleb adores them both--
