YouTube can be fun but sometimes it also makes you want to throw your tv out the window
#for a while it was funny to watch weird deep dives into drama that i couldn't care less about#and there's some things i truly enjoy#but i just randomly clicked on a different interior design youtuber and she has such awful taste#and it really got to me when she was like 'it's just 5.99'#yeah bestie but you have to get like 10 of those jars if you want to make your food airtight#and that's quite a lot money???#same as when they call anything at ikea super cheap or affordable!!!! that costs like 200$ and above#that's still??? a lot??? of money??? for people who don't have much???#when i moved last year i didn't even buy all that much#i just needed a media console a few new/different kitchen cabinets to make what i already had work#one rug because i live right above the cellar and it gets fucking cold a new sink and some smaller items#and it still depleted a good part of my savings along with the deposit#i took most of my furniture with me and i still struggled and didn't buy stuff immediately#it just really annoys me to see people who seem to have no concept of money be like 'that's so cheap!!!'#'even a peasant can afford that!!!!'
