My favorite part about tumblr memes is that I only ever realize that they’re memes until like 3 to 5 days after they’re trending because suddenly I realize multiple people are talking about This Weird Thing. And my first exposure to the meme is always some obscure sub-take on it so you just laugh because tumblr is as tumblr does but then you’re suddenly like wow, lots of ppl talking about gandalf’s big naturals right now—ooooooooh
