there IS a temptation to send my mother images of men having sex that I’ve drawn because I think it would honestly answer a lot of questions she has about me. but I say this while simultaneously feeling embarrassed about telling her my plans to make two guys roommates in a story. genuinely have no idea why the latter is embarrassing and why the former isn’t...
#just thinking thoughts...#I think maybe it's the act of saying.#maybe I just hate saying things#me (contemplating): I'm certain she knows I'm transgender. and she does know I'm bisexual#and everyone I've been with in a relationship has been a guy (while I was with them anyways)#but like. I wonder if she understands that means I'm largely mlm#she's trying SO hard to corner me about being trans btw.#we were talking about how the police force can only address people in one of four ways:#student lady gentleman and uh. something else#these are considered the 'respectful' ways to address people#(like for example middle schoolers might not like being called 'little kids' so student is like. the age-neutral form of address)#and she was like. so do you prefer to be addressed as 姊姊 (older sister) or 哥哥 (older brother)#I very lamely said UHHHHHHH#i don't know!! I'm not a good liar when I haven't made my mind up about it!!!#so yeah. I think my mind has decided that like. ok. if she wants me to come out as a trans guy so bad.#I will have to remind her that I will probably idk. get gay married in the future or whatever#there's a very pervasive attitude in taiwanese culture (which I can see in my mom) that you're not REALLY trans unless you've had surgery#and like. mother brought that up you know. she mentioned like. well yeah I think you can use the men's room if you. you know.#get surgery. you know#which like.... well... yes thank you for the support. actually now that I'm saying it that IS pretty like. supportive of her I guess#like lol. I don't even know if I WANT surgery#top surgery maybe... bottom probably not so much#mmm brain is a soup...#I explained they them pronouns to her actually#we were talking about earrings and I was like huh you know I DON'T know many people with earrings!!#and I start listing out people and she's like no I'm talking about GIRLS#and she's like. isn't the person who sent you the earrings a girl. and I was like. I don't know mother. they are a they them...#we've never really talked about gender...#and I told her that I just say they or them when I am referring to them#it seemed like a novel concept to her... I forget how new these things are sometimes...

I can't believe I've never actually asked this before but I don't recall seeing it asked by anyone else and I'm curious now that I've seen a few of these, and I figure you'd be the best person to ask-- but, if you're okay with the question, how exactly would the whole DR;DT cast react to a sudden and unexpected pregnancy with their lover??
Doesn't matter if they're the one carrying the baby themselves, or if it's their partner suddenly telling them 'I'm pregnant' it could be both reactions, or either. Just curious about both either way. :o
(Reason: I was just writing Teruvid with this scenario and I had a brain plot bunny hopping around so I wondered, lol)
I do hope you post the Teruvid one because I enjoy being fed other work of them aside from my own or my friends
DISCLAIMER: In regards to Ace and Eden. For this specific headcanon, either they or their partner are trans. Considering that Ace is canonically Gay and Eden is canonically a Lesbian. There is no room for anything het here so please understand that to include them; this is the only way it would happen. I didn’t feel comfortable with excluding them from this headcanon list since I’m trans myself and wanted to show representation of trans mlm and trans wlw. Thank you.
Teruko: Of fucking course, this is why she didn’t really care for insertion even with condoms or being on the pill. How the hell was she going to support a kid, should she?
Xander: Would immediately step into the dad role with no hesitation.
Charles: How- he’d been so careful. His career field would definitely provide but he wasn’t certain he had the temperament of nerve to be a father just yet.
Ace: He is flabbergasted. Sure he wanted a family since he was used to being a part of a large one but not Right Now. H
Arei: She cannot believe she got knocked up and is SO mad about it. She’s debating what to do.
Rose: She’s down trodden because she’s already in debt and has no idea how she’d support a child.
Eden: HUH?! That’s basically the reaction, complete shock.
Hu: She always wanted a family but she’s nervous about being a good mother.
Levi: Excited about being a father but worried about not being present enough for the child.
Arturo: Absolutely not he is not ready for this yet.
Min: At least she can homeschool them.
David: What? Him? A father? What? This wasn’t the time. Not while he was stuck under this annoying contract and had obsessive groupie fans. That wasn’t a safe environment for a child. Was he even a good prospect as a father? He wasn’t sure he was ready for this.
Veronika: I mean, she can info dump to someone about her interests when they’re old enough. But she isn’t sure how to feel about this. She didn’t feel like the motherly type.
J: Having her own child might not be a bad thing so long as she could completely break away from her mother and that life style. She wanted her privacy.
Whit: Would excitedly step into the dad role.
Nico: Worried about the idea of being a parent but would be fine with it.
Mai: Super excited to be a mother.

[this will be comming in at least 2 messages so that was pt1... sorry for that] Hey, so I've seen this board around now a few times and am really just wondering why the RP world needs a wlw world? I've been RPing for a while and for most of the time all RP boards seemed LBGT+ friendly to me, so I don't see the point of it? In all honesty, it even seems a bit heterophobic to me? Yes, I'm looking at the part of the rules where you say you'll ban hetero couples.
[pt 2 of 2] While the board is a beautiful idea, it just gives me the vibe of well... starting hate against hetero people. And yes, even while being hetero is not a reason to be bullied/have issues in life, I feel like the LGBT+ community should be a better example. Simply out of what is known how much others might suffer from being LGBT+ [Btw, I'm saying this as a bi woman, not a het-white-cis-male.]
-------
Hello and thanks for writing!
While it’s great that you have had positive experiences on standard roleplaying forums, that hasn’t been the case at all for us. Most forums anymore claim to be LGBT+ friendly, but that tends to mean we are “allowed” to play sapphic characters there-- just no one else will write with or interact with us on an IC level. Gay men have always been the next preference to het ships. And this isn’t an isolated incident, both of us have been writing in this community for years.
In that time, I myself have seen at least a good dozen+ mslash sites and never one geared towards wlw. So I decided to make one.
Just think of it this way: Are other LGBT+ spaces “heterophobic” for existing? Because they offer ONE place out of a hundred for just LGBT+ people? I can guarantee you that this one little site for WLW isn’t going to start a trend of “straight hating” within the community at large. A) There simply aren’t enough of us for that, as indicated by the difficulty in finding people to ship F/F to begin with, and B) We don’t actually hate straight people. The rule you are referring to says exactly this:
ALL CHARACTERS DO NOT HAVE TO BE SAPPHIC/WLW. While we absolutely want the emphasis to be on wlw and their stories, we also understand the importance of allowing other types of characters into this world; the husband she hasn’t left yet, the straight best friend she needs for moral support, her painfully cishet parents, etc. plus bi/pan/ace/poly relationships, and connections that defy all binaries and social norms. Please be respectful of our leniency with this (and don’t make us “ban” an “unrealistic” amount of "het" ships lol).
The last part about “banning” het ships is mostly a joke about the RP community-- a play on how other standard sites will ban things like pregnancies and twins arbitrarily for “realism.” (Or, if you’re old enough to remember, it once was totally normal to ban making female characters entirely literally to balance out the het capacity I’m not even joking). Basically it was tacked on there for a little humor in the reminder to not go wild with the straight cishet ships because that simply isn’t the point of this site.
Cishet content dominates all media. MLM content dominates fandom. Can you name anywhere that F/F content reigns supreme? Except maybe porn, but even then...
Pynk is one-of-a-kind (at least to our knowledge). One. If people think we are too exclusive, too rude, too negative, too this, or too that, they are in luck because literally every other site is available to them.
We just want one that is available to us. Suited to us. Celebratory of women and our love for them.
If the cishet community suffers because of that, I’ll stream a video of me eating my own fist.
Hopefully that answers your question and offers some clarity!xoxo Newo
