Little late cause busy day but happy birthday to Matt Murdock, the man who has:

Inspired me so much I wrote a fic longer than War and Peace

Made me so determined to write the above that I created an outline and I hate outlining, yet now I know it works, thanks for the self help baby

Made me hyperfixate on a character for longer than I knew I could actually achieve, I think we're basically common law married now in ADHD terms

Literally helped me make friends with all ya'll

Helped me get through a dark period

On a lighter note, awakened my love of That Ass cause DAMN

Introduced me to that smokin red black color scheme

Introduced a great many of us to the greatest cinematographic religious symbolism shots of any show ever

Taught me a great deal about fight scenes

Reminded us all that black is always sexy

May be why I get published one day

I will ALWAYS love this man, and may I make these posts for many years to come, may I one day be an old lady shouting on a front porch at passersby that it's Matt's birthday and people assume I'm talking about a real person until I shout about Daredevil, and may Matt in whatever parallel universe he exists in have a birthday that's actually FUN and not one that's tragic and full of sad martyr-y darkness.

Please Help!!

i really hesitate to make this post bc it's the end of the year and everyone is strapped for money but the past several months have just been slowly getting more and more overwhelming for the things we need to fix.

We've been driving around in a car with the back windows we can't even roll up (one is held up by duct tape and the other is now slipped off the track that we can't even pull it up at this point) and trying to save up money to fix the windows, and a small oil leak.

Two months ago we had to turn off the water to the kitchen sink bc underneath is rusted through and it needs replaced. We're doing dishes in the bathtub with a hair catcher because we can't use the dishwasher.

A few days ago, one of the back tires went flat because the wall has rotted and we have no spare. I need to go to work, but bc of my disability, I have a job that only has me work maybe twice a month. I get *maybe* 200$ a month and I don't currently have government assistance. It's been impossible for us to save anything to fix anything and it keeps snowballing. At this point we are worried how to even get food.

I'm stressed. My wife is stressed. If anyone could spare even a couple dollars so we can replace the back two tires on the car so I could go to work, I would be eternally grateful.

an unstoppable force (my moral objection to working in a psychiatric setting because i know the abuse that so often takes place there and i can’t stand the idea of ever participating in or benefiting from something that treats people that way) meets an immovable object (i made the mistake of being a psych major years ago so now those are the most common jobs in my area that i’m actually qualified for and i need money so bad if i want to get out of the hell house i live in anytime soon)

the other week my friend said she's buy me boba and then AFTER we bought it was like "oh actually can u pay me back" and i was caught off guard and i didnt know how to nonconfrontationally tell her taht actually she still owes me for the time a bit earlier i bought her poke even tho i didnt have the funds and she "didnt feel" like going to gether wallet and its like. I dont mind it most of the time like the poke was way more expensive but i dont mind just calling it even and normally i wouldnt hound her for it anyway the issue is that shes hounding ME about the boba that she said she would pay for so its like. if ur gonna hound me about it then lets talk because u still owe ME money, so why dont we just call it even
