The alternate "snake and otacon dying to firing squad" ending for mgs4 i have mixed feelings on for a myriad of reasons but the detail that made me sure it should never be canon is that much as I can see Snake doing so, Otacon I can't ever see committing suicide.
His father drowned himself in his familys own pool. The trauma it left on him and his sister was enough to tear their family apart and he carried the guilt of that for years. He would never, ever, do something like that to someone else. Not when he’s raising Sunny. Not when he and Snake are the only true “parents” she has left. Not when pretty soon it’ll only be him.
He would never let himself be another body floating in that pool.

Hi. Yes, Rick Bear is still coming to work with me every day. And of course, yesterday I HAD to bring Bakugo, too. 😢 The same thing is happening today, if there was any doubt.

Day 1 of gortash week lets go!! I went with Criminal for today (raphael is the real criminal here not gortyboi :{)
Hunger can take quite a few forms. The thirst for power, the greed one's fueled by while continually wanting more and the dissatisfaction that follows, or the high that is felt when one is undoubtedly right. It must be satiated, lest the corrosion consume the host instead.
Good thing for Enver, this time it's just physical. And a lull in the House's activity has allowed him the opportunity for a little adventure. So what if he's stealing? It's nothing new to him. He's hungry, damn it.

Hm….cant help but post my disappointment in getting blocked by someone I considered a friend without even the chance of having a discussion. I’m not owed one, but the fact that I was blocked in proxy makes me a little sad. If you noticed some ships getting removed from the ship list, that’s why. I won’t be talking about the games anymore and also don’t want any flack thrown at anyone, because it defeats the purpose of the topics we brought up in….hm not retaliation but as a counter point.
Idk. You’d expect people you’re friendly with to really talk these things out with you if you have differentiated opinions, but just getting hard blocked because you added some thoughts while agreeing with some points feels pretty shitty and like you can’t have friends with different opinions than you- whether they’re hard stances or not. I know it’s not just me, I know I’m valid in some of my personal experiences and opinions due to talking to others about my personal stances on things, but it still sucks. I can’t help but feeling alienated if not just for the fact that I’m a black person who tries to remind people that NUANCE and SENSITIVITY is important in fandom spaces, especially if you’re going to be the spearhead in the community, but also just as someone who has been personally effected by “everything is good no matter how it’s handled”. I’ve been hurt, I’ve been groomed by that media, but it feels like it doesn’t matter- to the point someone told me “it was my fault for getting groomed because of said media.”
Idk- I’m just disappointed.

1. the most literal possible interpretation of the english dialogue. deals with the idea that in the crucible era all was one and one was all, with no singular lifeforms or ideals. in this case the crucible knights and others tied to the crucible would be retroactively paying tribute to an age they did not experience
2. post-stew. individual lifeforms did exist, but actual thought and will as humans would think of did not. the elden ring equivalent of dinosaur times. crucible knights idolize these beasts’ uncomplicated strength, but still did not ever experience the era themselves
3. post-dinosaur times. both individual lifeforms and free will existed, but separate societies did not. all are one in the sense of there being no discrimination, war, organized religion, etc on account of survival still being the number one priority. the elden ring equivalent of caveman times. it’s possible crucible knights and the like did live then and are just really, really old
4. self explanatory. something that came before the elden beast and the greater will, but was equal in terms of technological and societal advancement. could possibly relate to the giants, the helphen, the deathbirds, etc. if the present day lands between are ancient greece, then the crucible era is minoan civilization
5. the crucible existed under the greater will, but only during placidusax’s reign. the idea of “all are one” can be interpreted here as being about beasts rising to the same level as humans rather than everyone starting out equal in the first place. when marika changed the ring, the crucible era ended
6. the crucible era and marika’s rule overlapped, and the crucible only ended once the erdtree stopped producing sap and things started going to shit. the end of the era could feasibly coincide with events the game directly tells us about, such as godfrey’s induction as elden lord

Continuing on for whatever the fuck happened with that poll™ yesterday, OP claiming that it was made as a "joke poll" doesn't matter because they were still being arophobic and not at all curbing any aphobia in their replies. It's also apparent that the joke here is the absurdity of the existence of aro men who are also cishet which shows how little OP and other aphobes really know about the aro and ace spectrums and the nuance within them.
Besides, the fact that so many people aren't really taking to it as a "joke" as OP claims, and is just spewing out such rancid hatred for ace and aro people, even wishing for our deaths, is still something to be called out. It still shows how uncaring OP and those other people are.
They really don't give a shit about us.

so I'm working on my mr. qi expansion mod (still not sure what I'll call it) and I'm working on commentary for each of the different Qi Challenges but I have NO IDEA what to have him say for the fucking qi fruit.
like, dude, are they supposed to look like you? they don't. they sell for a single gold. how do they have sunglasses? are they genetically-engineered? could you at least have made them taste good? are they magical? do you sneak out to the fields every night and draw the sunglasses on them yourself? why are they grown from beans yet turn into melons? how do they grow so damn fast? when the challenge ends, do you personally steal all of the remaining beans from my chests and inventory? why do you need 500 of them?
and why do some of the villagers like them as gifts?? demetrius i understand, he'd want to study them, and robin would like them to give to her husband. elliot, leah, and linus would find them interesting, harvey would be curious about the health effects, but jodi and kent?? pam??? shane??? what are they going to do with a qi fruit? fuckin slice that shit and eat it like cantaloupe?
I don't even know where to start with answering any of these questions. and I'm not sure I want to.
