#volta do mar #radio station: static inbetween #my painting style will never compare to the game's style but i try hkjg i like this side profile better than the front facing one #theres the radio in her chest btw!! when you see [The radio crackles quietly] or something thats where it's coming from :>#the music tape is still their head (the magnetic tape strip looks like a music score he's singing) it will always face the viewer like that #wings because i can't help adding wings to characters. in my mind it's angelic choir/guardian angel saving you from harm/icarus imagery #icarus's ghosts rescuing those who fall prey to the sky and sea... the halo isn't conventional but i wanted to mimic the one kim has :0!#the jacket and gloves definitely aren't conventional because skills dont wear clothes <3 but i like aerostatic pilot jacket;;;#volta is an interisolary guide and deserves to wear the outfit!!#technically volta is a red/physique skill which is something i overlooked in the first pass? but they are... so orange to me...#so orange-red compromise? i guess im not truly satisfied with it but i think its okay :')#it used to be more vivid but i desaturated it somewhat because it looked too bright on my phone? idk bro colors weird?#skillsposting

Recent-ish life pictures and etc.

#image commentary in tags once again since they don't allow captions anymore and I feel weird using the alt text for that --#1. bright very poofy cloud sky #2. saw these weird bugs on a sidewalk that were clustered in a pile and some of them were sitting butt to butt or something.. I wonder if #that's how they mate?? or maybe just some sortof strange bug fight or something.. interesting little creature party happening #out on the pavement on that day #3. Its kind of hard to see but on the inside of this watermelon there is a slightly lighter formation that sort of looks like a heart shape #4. special breakfast of scrambled eggs. soy sausages. and jarred artichoke heart. with some black coffee and whipped cream + a strawberry #5. ARBY.. fish ...traditional summer treat available only until like september maybe for like a month. but I love them because theyre cheap #lol.. the next closest/cheapest fried fish sort of option that is easily acessible to me is a more upscale fast food place where you can ge #three tiny little chunks of fish maybe the palm of your hand sized for about $17 lol... so 4 arby fried fish chunks for like $5 is good #6. & 7 - very cool sunset colored sort of pink/yellow/orange flower I found growing wild in someone's yard #8. got as a gift from someone who got it for christmas but didn't really want it and asked if I did since everyone knows Im like The Person #Who's Obsessed With Cats out of any group of people.. but I still havent done it lol.. it just sits there gathering dust until I have #the time on top of my 600 other projects. I think it's cool that it's gray so it does look like noodle (my cat)#9. Noodle (the aforementioned gray cat) with fancy lighting behind him #photo diary

Bloodborne is seriously the most beautiful game of all time i think about this every single time i replay it but genuinely. Just exploring yharnam and staring in awe at how gorgeous everything is, its never about graphics, bloodborne has a noticeable stylization i think in a way even stronger than other fromsoft games, and the use of lighting and color palettes is just so good it makes me want to Be there. The game is already so stunning as it is ingame but i think having access to the map viewer on my own to the side made me appreciate it even more i love seeing the way everything is constructed and put together with just the flat textures before applying any engines and even as flat surfaces you can just feel the cohesion in the backgrounds, even textureless stripped of everything that makes it "beautiful" it still feels so unique and already gets the vibe across and that explains how the game feels the way it does visually, which is something i think a lot of current gen "high fidelity" games struggle with. Hard to explain what I mean but I feel it. Also i love the slight like chromatic aberration effect bb has on the edges of the screen it adds such a nice touch to the atmosphere honestly. Sighs dreamily

#like every single location is so unique and has its own style separate from each other #but in a way thats really cohesive and still makes it feel like part of the same thing #and theyre all so beautiful in their own way #ppl dunk on the forbidden woods and nightmare frontier a lot for what i think are #just gameplay reasons but their blind hatred of those areas extends to the way theyre often excluded when #people talk about all the 'prettiest areas' and whatnot. but i think they deserve the love just as much as anywhere else #when youre not panic running through it the woods are really beautiful and well crafted #its all so skillfully put together to give exactly the atmosphere it needed #theres so many parts of it that feel iconic to me or at least could be #and the nightmare frontier i think genuinely has some of the most stunning environment designs #that were introduced by it later reused in the hunters nightmare. so it should #have its own little pedestal as The OG i think. like all the spirals and etchings that feel like #a naturally occurring phenomenon but also does not look like one. you know what im talking about?#and the strangely bright sky and fog in the distance... so so good #i have paragraphs upon paragraphs to say about each area obv but these two feel so underrated #do the fucked up graves in the woods mean nothig to you... does the little cave you spawn in in the frontier mean nothing to you...

winter is so fucking depressing also why does it last like 5 months

#the seasonal depression is literally whenever its cooler than like 67 degrees out #its awful. even avoiding the outdoors during it im still sad and less productive #everything feels so dull and hopeless in winter #i mean it does in general too but #at least when the world is burning in summer it feels more like just another part of the sunshine #in summer you can see humans cheerful and free enjoying the easy warmth #and ice cream isnt tremendously stupid #i like warm rain the most #but i dont think i could move to a rainforest too many unlikeable creatures that could kill 50 grown men in a millisecond #and bugs that will not only kill you but scare you into a heart attack beforehand #i need piss warm water raining from the sky i am a swamp beast i do not like cold and dark weather please #i need fresh fruit and to be cooked by the sun #i need the ability to hang out in a pool mostly naked without freezing my balls off #take me back to the warm and wet and bright

Oh yeah btw at school today I inhaled copper sulphates

#forgot to tell you guys because it was early in the morning when it happened #I did in fact have a huge stomachache for a few hours #My lungs still kinda hurt which is really strange cause I think I only inhaled like a few pieces of dust #Also that thing was bright blue.#like azurite levels of blue.#The ones we used were mixed with aluminium so it wasn't really as bright of a blue but it was still very much sky-coloured #This was like eleven hours ago btw
