I know we're ignoring canon right now, but can. Can we just talk about Dabi's ending for a second? Because like. What the fuck? This guy's been suffering his entire life. From being abused by his father, to being kidnapped and experimented on while he's in a coma, just to escape and go home to find out his worst fears have come true, his family abandoned him, they never really cared. Then, he spends the next 8 years homeless, where he damages his body so much to the point he's being held together by staples? How painful was his daily life?? No wonder he wanted to die. His life was hell. And now, he spends his last days alive trapped in a fucking fish tank, in excruciating agony (you cannot tell me he isn't in any pain. He has no fucking skin left, along with his other injuries. Not to mention the emotional and psychological trauma once again inflicted on him). He doesn't get to choose whether or not he wants to keep living through this nightmare. He doesn't get to choose whether or not he wants Endeavor to visit him every day. No one asks him his opinion on any of this. They decide for him, and he doesn't have the strength left to protest. He can't move, can't talk, can't do anything. All he can do is sit there, watching on helplessly, with the knowledge that after his death, his family will once again leave him behind and forget all about him. He'll never see the League again, the only people in the world who actually loved him unconditionally and never saw him as a problem or a mistake. He has to die with the knowledge that he failed. His family won't ever truly see him as a person, and he never, not once in his life, got to be happy.

When Fox cancelled Brooklyn Nine Nine, everyone on twitter constantly made posts about how much they love the show and would do anything to get another season. When NBC saw the support that Brooklyn Nine Nine got, they picked the show back up (in fact, a fan was allowed to play a major character in an episode).

Dead End Paranormal Park can come back. Infinity Train can come back. Mao Mao Heroes of Pure Heart can come back. Inside Job can come back. Close Enough can come back.

Arlong didn't get a flashback of his own, but he did get to cameo in Fisher Tiger's flashback. And Rob Fucking Lucci got a flashback that was 6 whooping panels long

BUT CROCODILE?? Not only do we know almost Fuck All about his story, but also have never gotten as much as a glimpse at it? But his backstory has been HINTED and TEASED at multiple times??

i've seen very few heroes who are willing to sacrifice their loved ones to save the world. usually they find some kind of loophole that lets everyone live. also, sacrificing the world to save one person is not romantic. it's not desirable. what good is a world without its people? what's the point of living in a world where only you and one other person exists?

this quote is just the trolley problem paraphrased. it's the dilemma of saving one person over multiple people. it has no right solution because both of the possible solutions result in the death of someone.

coming back to the post itself, this is yet another case of adora being victim blamed. because c//a stans never get sick of that, right? the post is implying that adora would sacrifice catra to save the world (which is not true, she was sacrificing herself) and that catra would sacrifice the world to save adora. is that true?

i mean, come on, the show literally spells it out for you. catra says word for word that she'd rather destroy the world than let adora win (hint: live).

Looking back at it, Kacchako is really funny to look back on given everything that's happened. Like I really wished they had more interactions about their motivations and heroism, and even their blunt demeanor and so many more things (also how they feel about Deku but this isn't about him).

This isn't meant to shit on people who ship it in any way, because back then I kinda digged it. Like genuinely thought it was cool and an interesting direction to take...but that was 5 years ago.

At one point, we saw the two of them on a battlefield, ending with Ochako losing but Bakugo having a lot of respect for her. This really could have been expanded a lot more, like them training together or just talking.

How he started calling her by her actual name much earlier than others, how she saw right through his "anger" at Deku being fear, how Ochako also trained to be stronger- there really was potential for something deeper between them beyond acquaintances, romance, or something.

I'm surprised no heroes talk about the fact that Toga is youngest of the LOV by nearly a decade (which makes everything about writing her quirk's specific nudity that much weirder).

Like, Twice mentions "little Toga" to Hawks and I'm pretty sure the hero gives no comment to her.

I'm not saying Toga should be redeemed. But if she were, I'd that would the main selling point.

Well it depends on what version of the league you're talking about because if you're talking about the one before the training camp arc then it's actually mustard who is the youngest at age 14!! Toga is the second youngest. Surprisingly, mustard actually gets arrested after what happens and I say thing because in Japan there is a law where children 14 and younger aren't held accountable for their crimes and it seems like MHA follows Japan's law system so maybe this is an inconsistency🤷‍♀️

By bringing in mustard what Iam saying is that if the heroes themselves haven't shown care towards a 14 year old boy then why would we expect them to show that towards toga? Now this could be an inconsistency like I said or it could be used to critique the hero society that doesn't care much for the youth. Heck even curious in the MVA arc actually makes articles about this topic and how the system is ruining the youth.

Also one thing I hated about horis introduction of toga is that he literally introduced her as a sexualised fetishised type of character and it drives me up the walls. This comes either from her quirk that leaves her naked (she is a minor!!!! That isn't needed and very much disgusting) or how she is a fetishised yandere placed in certain situations.

Also it seems like Japan actually does have a bit of laws to protect young criminals like blanking out personal details of theirs like their names. I think toga had a chance to be redeemed but with the way her arc went I wasn't expecting for her to be redeemed. There's also the fact that if toga was rehabilitated and given proper support she could of been redeemed and saved since she literally asks if the heroes can save her or if they would kill her like any other villain.
