cilil's Halloween special
ʚ𖦹ɞ Author's Note: It's that time of the year, revelers and travelers, and I present to you a little something I made to celebrate the season (and another milestone). This is a fun and silly choose your own adventure story with a couple of options and a tiny bit of romance and innuendo sprinkled in. I hope you enjoy (and that tungle doesn't randomly eat posts or links, fingers crossed)! Happy Halloween!
ʚ𖦹ɞ Featuring: Your top choices - Melkor, Mairon, Námo, Oromë, Nienna, Varda and Yavanna
ʚ𖦹ɞ Warnings: / (Just a tiny bit of spooky and the dork lords being their dork lord selves)
ʚ𖦹ɞ Additional mystery: Out of the seven objects described in the first scene, two are in fact real and in my possession right now. Can you guess which ones? (No, there are no hints in the story itself as it isn't about me, but maybe some of you know me or have a hunch. Happy guessing!)
Tumblr media
It is not the first time that your fëa has found itself wandering the Path of Dreams in your sleep, though it looks different today. The sky above the great trees and hedges surrounding you is dark, stars twinkling weakly in the distance, and the only light comes from the full moon peeking through ghostly clouds. The gentle breeze carrying formless whispers from the forest is sharper and colder today, and the voices you hear are distorted and erratic.
You wonder if this is Irmo's doing as you hasten along your path, if he has twisted the normally peaceful dream realm into one of nightmares. Or are other spirits out there that were roused by your searching thought, displeased by your presence or perhaps even curious?
Instead of the golden gate and winding paths that would lead you to Lórien, you find a lonely, ancient-looking pavilion. It's overgrown with ivy, nearly covering it in its entirety. You have never heard any tales about such a location existing on the Path of Dreams, but your curiosity compels you to explore.
There is no one inside, nor anywhere nearby. It seems to you as though this pavilion hasn't seen visitors in a long time, yet it isn't empty: Pillows sit on the floor, their vibrant colours faded, surrounding a small table with various objects on it.
You examine the objects. Which one catches your interest?
☞ An old book with a rich emerald cover and silver ornaments. Its pages are yellowed and written in an ancient language you don't understand.
☞ A perfectly cut and polished almond-shaped gem. It seems to be a ruby or opal at first glance, shining with a warm light from the inside.
☞ A bouquet of flowers in a carved pumpkin. The plants all look as if they were freshly cut and harvested, but upon closer examination you see that they were preserved with wax.
☞ A bronze letter opener in the shape of a dagger. When you run your finger across it, the edge and tip of the blade are sharper than expected.
☞ An ancient telescope with strange symbols engraved. It's pointed at the roof of the pavilion, making you wonder what you are supposed to see there.
☞ A simple silver necklace with a pendant shaped like a budding rose. It seems unassuming at first, but the longer you look upon it, the more you feel like it might have been blessed.
☞ A diadem with countless gems and pearls. Once it has drawn your gaze, you are in awe of the way it sparkles and glitters even in the twilight.

@thefreelanceangel - Okay Imma be SUPER real here for a sec because I have a hidden weapon.
IT'S SIYOH!
Siyoh is my secret weapon because she is so monochrome/silver in her coloring she literally will reflect any light in a scene like a glorified opal.
Case in point, the middle one below especially...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Since she's devoid of so much color I've always found the best thing I can do is to put her in a wide array of colorful clothing, surroundings, or lighting (or all of the above I suppose).
More often than not though I'll match the colors of a scene to the light source I use for her. I'll break it down a bit though...
For the picture of Rex and Siyoh, there's a very prominent blue light source (the moon phasmascape) in the BG to the left that I added dramatic and fabricated lighting for while in gpose.
For the middle, while there was no light source in the scene originally I worked off the wisterias in the background to paint a rich purple/pink color for the image. (again, light source was done in gpose)
And, most recently, there were green lanterns and hangings in the background and I chose that paired with gold and red hues to pull off the opposite side lighting. So, the left side is green, the right side is red, and there's a center light behind her painting the same warm lighting from the bright white/yellow lanterns behind her. (lighting also done in gpose)
But again, admittedly, while this can be applied across all of my work and characters (especially for night scenes) it especially pertains to Siyoh as she is so very light reflective. (something I even write about when I roleplay her, ha)
...I also just r e a l l y love backlighting. Its my weakness.
Hope it helps! ♥

Naven, deity meme:
Upon the altar, a pair of spectacles. They have delicate insect wings on the tips of the frame, iridescent like stained glass. They hide the wearer's eyes, light always reflecting off of the lenses, the reflection a soft rainbow in pastel. A delicate gold chain hangs from the temples, different crystals dangling every few links.
An apple of silver, polished like a mirror. It reflects all, not a single movement lost to its echo. The stem and singular leaf are made of opal, sparking whenever they are disturbed.
A green vest of exceptional make. Delicate gold thread makes fractal patterns on the lapel and yoke; when you lift it, they almost feels like they're moving. It has a swallow-tail cut on the back, two tails long like those of a monarch butterfly. It feels softer than silk.
Oh, dear.
Naven had one policy when someone ever came to work for him under Bliss Ocean--that they knew what he could do. Was this the best idea? Probably not, until you remember that he could pretty much tell WHO could keep a secret. He usually wasn't wrong. And the people that DIDN'T know preferred to keep it that way. Some liked to keep their thoughts as their own, preferred the safety of no one looking at their deepest desires. That was the worst part. It felt like cheating, felt like he was betraying something when they ask to forget and they go about their day-to-day lives.
There isn't a day that he doesn't feel like that at least once or twice.
So now he's currently sitting in his office chair, silently going through his extensively large library of memories, in hopes of perhaps finding a match to whoever had the time and resources to leave THESE here.
It...wasn't as if he was mad. It was hard NOT to appreciate the beauty in all these objects, and the Fae side of him was EXTREMELY pleased, sure, but that wasn't the point and he REALLY needed to be logical about this. This looked...personal? Too personal? He's sure that none of his inner court could have left this--Zora was off on her own at the moment and the other Officers didn't have direct access to his office without his permission. Which...only left his wife, but this didn't exactly fit her usual style of gift giving either...
His hands grasp at the apple, fingers twirling at the stem to make it spin. It really is quite pretty and well made, and the spectacles were absolutely lovely, and he knew he'd look really fetching in this vest, he knew exactly what could go with-- Distracted. Focus.
Tumblr media
{ Xerxes? I hate to interrupt whatever work you are doing, but, could you, maybe, when you have the time...go through the last few hours of footage in my office? See if there's anything unusual and report back to me, please. Thank you. }
Not mad. Pleasantly surprised, sure, but, well...sensitive information was in his office and this was a security job for his best friend. Whoever left these probably meant no harm, right?
He just didn't like loose ends. Perhaps he could at least thank them before questioning intentions. No real need to be rude about it.

Photo
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It turns out I had two more pieces of Native American jewelry in my inheritance. And I was able to identify the artists!
The first photo is a sterling silver & Wild Horse magnesite pair by Anna Begay (Navajo). This one took me a bit of time to confirm. There is another Navajo artist named Ruth Ann Begay, and occasionally the AB hallmark is mistakenly attributed to her. Which made it a little hard for me to confirm the identity, but luckily I stumbled across a pair of earrings that are VERY similar to my pair. Hooray!
The stone, Wild Horse magnesite, is a new one to me. It is a type of magnesite that comes from a mine in Globe, Arizona, and the brown veins come from the presence of hematite! It is sometimes sold as White Buffalo turquoise, but this is misleading. Real White Buffalo turquoise comes from the Dry Creek Mine in Nevada; it has a similar formation process as turquoise, but lacks the copper minerals that give turquoise its blue color. So far, Dry Creek is the only mine producing White Buffalo. Naturally, this has lead to a lot of imitators on the market!
In fact, Wild Horse is so frequently called White Buffalo that I actually thought my pair were White Buffalo until I found the above listing with the proper stone classification. Ugh. Well, they're lovely no matter what stone it is. You can read more about White Buffalo here.
The second photo is a sterling silver & imitation opal pair by Fatoya Yazzie (Navajo). Apparently she specializes in modern designs, and I think my earrings are a perfect example! I have an imitation opal/sterling silver ring that kinda matches them, but the hallmark has been rubbed away so I can't confirm that they were a set. A bummer, but at least I was able to identify the earrings.
I still have two more pieces left, and I just emailed someone who might be able to help- fingers crossed!

Running, the real thing Ichigi's Cima
Hoshino
Not just a luxury car
Of course, running is not the only pursuit. Cima Impul 30S
Nissan's neo used car, which is filled with the thoughts of racing driver Kazuyoshi Hoshino, has been completed here.
Test drive Cima Impul 30S, the most interesting used car right now
Tumblr media
CIMA IMPUL 30S
"A car that I built for myself." That is Cima Impul 30S. By me, I mean, of course, Kazuyoshi Hoshino himself. Cars produced by Kazuyoshi Hoshino so far include the Cedric/Gloria-based Impul 630-R and the Skyline-based Impul R31-R. Both of them have a high degree of perfection, and both have gained high popularity. But this Cima Impul 30S is even more attractive than those two cars. This is supported by the words “I am ~” at the beginning. This car has one episode.
There is That was two years ago. This year, the Impul R31-R was announced. The first 630R was successful, but this second is a critical moment. However, at that time, he fell in love with the Cima that he was riding as his foot, and at the R31-R launch venue, he enthusiastically told the people at Nissan that this was the only car to come next. From this, it is clear that the feelings for the Impul 30S are not ordinary.
The Impul 30S is a special limited-edition used car model jointly developed by Nissan and Hoshino Impul. This kind of limited edition model is by no means uncommon. It is often seen in dealer units as well. However, many of them are just adding parts to add value. For example, you can change the tires and wheels, add commercially available aero parts, and simply repaint. In the end, it's a bargain specification that just adds audio and power windows to a low-grade model.
And so on. What about the Impul 30S? It's certainly a value-added used car. However, it sets itself apart from many limited-edition cars. Many bars attached
One of the points that should be evaluated is that the car is specially developed, but the degree of perfection of the Cima itself has been further enhanced. Not only for driving, but also as a luxury car.
Looking at the exterior first, the body color is painted in a special color, Super White Silver Pearl Mica. It goes without saying that the paint is of high quality, and of course the engine room is painted in the same color, so there is no mistake. What is even more elaborate is that the side moldings, side steps, and bumper lip are painted in the exclusive opal gray metallic color. At first glance, you might miss it, but this understated two-tone color gives it a tangy, sporty look.
And above all, it is the aero parts that tighten the exterior. Front aero bumper, side step, rear spoiler, rear bumper, etc. Of course, this is the original front aero bumper by Hoshino Impul. The lip is enlarged and fog lamps are built in. The rear spoiler is equipped with LED high-mounted stop lamps.
Every part emphasizes design and also considers aerodynamic characteristics.
Its style enhances the presence of the Cima, a luxury car, while at the same time directing its sportiness. I dare say that the rear spoiler feels a little flashy, but it's an indispensable item because it pursues aerodynamics with all the parts.
The Impul 30S shows attention to detail in its interior, which is typical of luxury cars. Especially eye-catching is the real grain cluster using the finest walnut. The AT's select lever has a gold logo of "CIMA IMPUL30S" proudly placed on it, adding to the joy of the owner and emphasizing the luxury feel.
A special floor carpet is also available. A detailed consideration has been given to the fact that the logo is also included here. As for other special equipment, Sony's 10 CD auto changer is installed, but since the base vehicle is the Limited, you should not be dissatisfied with the equipment.
As for the all-important driving, you can enjoy the dynamic acceleration feeling brought by the 3ℓ V6DOHC turbo. Based on used cars. No, it's a 2-3 year old model car. In addition, it is Nissan's unique "pro check car" that has been checked over 3 stages and 123 items, so the performance of the new car is maintained. What's more, the Impul 30S uses an original stainless steel muffler with good exhaust ventilation, so you can feel the power and smoothness. This muffler is of course compliant with vehicle inspection. It goes without saying that the exhaust sound is as quiet as normal.
As for the suspension, the air suspension is left untouched, and the Impul reinforced stabilizer and the same strut tower bar are installed. The tires are 21 5/55R16 Potenza RET low-profile settings, but Optima BB, which has both grip and comfort, is selected, so the roll is kept small without impairing the original ride comfort of the air suspension. As it weighs 1.7 tons, it cannot be said that it can be easily ridden, but it has a much firmer handling than the Normal.
It is finished in a ring. In this Impul 30S, most of the parts of the normal model that are of concern have been changed by Kazuyoshi Hoshino. If you want to buy a Cima and give it a sporty finish, think again. (Junmasa Kato)

Discover the Charm of Silver Real Stone Rings
Tumblr media
The Fashion Versatility of Silver Stone Rings
Silver stone rings are a timeless and versatile accessory that can be dressed up or down to suit any occasion. The metal's cool sheen and the variety of stones available make them a popular choice for both men and women.
Versatility: Silver stone rings can be worn with a variety of outfits, from casual jeans and a t-shirt to a formal dress. The key is to choose a ring that complements your style. For example, a simple band with a small stone is perfect for everyday wear, while a more elaborate ring with a larger stone can make a statement for a special occasion.
Durability: Silver is a relatively durable metal, so your ring will last for many years with proper care. However, it is important to avoid exposing your ring to harsh chemicals or excessive heat, as this can damage the metal or stone.
Affordability: Silver stone rings are available at a wide range of price points, so you can find one that fits your budget. Cubic zirconia is a popular and affordable stone option, while diamonds and other precious stones will be more expensive.
Variety: There are endless possibilities when it comes to silver stone rings. You can choose from a variety of stones, including clear, colored, and even gemstones. You can also find rings with different settings, such as bezel, prong, and cluster.
Some people believe that different stones have different meanings or properties. For example, amethyst is said to promote peace and tranquility, while turquoise is said to bring good luck and protection. If you are looking for a ring with a special meaning, you can choose a stone that resonates with you.
Tumblr media
Choosing the Right Silver Real Stone Ring
Factors to Consider: Stone Type, Silver Quality, and Design
Each gemstone has its unique meaning and symbolism. For example, amethyst is associated with peace and tranquility, while garnet is associated with love and passion. Consider what qualities you want the ring to represent and choose a stone that resonates with you.
Tumblr media
Stone Type:
Meaning & Symbolism: As mentioned earlier, consider the emotional connection you seek. Research different gemstones and their associated meanings (e.g., love, prosperity, protection). For example, aquamarine evokes tranquility, while ruby symbolizes passion.
Durability & Hardness: Opt for stones suitable for daily wear like sapphires, rubies, or garnets (Mohs hardness of 7 or higher). Softer stones like opals or turquoise require more care.
Color & Brilliance: Choose a color that complements your skin tone and personal preference. Consider the stone's cut and clarity, too. Well-cut stones have more fire and brilliance
Think about your style.
Do you prefer classic and timeless designs, or something more modern and trendy? Do you like bold and statement pieces, or something more delicate and understated? Consider your overall aesthetic when choosing a ring style.
Choose a high-quality metal.
Sterling silver is the most common metal used for real stone rings, and it is a good choice for its durability and affordability. However, if you are looking for something more hypoallergenic, you may want to consider platinum or gold.
Make sure the ring fits well.
A ring that is too tight or too loose will be uncomfortable to wear. It is important to get your finger sized accurately before purchasing a ring.
Silver Quality
Metal Type: Sterling silver (92.5% pure silver, 7.5% other metals) is standard, offering affordability and durability. For those with sensitive skin, hypoallergenic options like platinum or gold exist.
Hallmarks: Look for hallmarks indicating silver purity (e.g., "925" or ".925"). Reputable jewelers use hallmarks to guarantee quality.
Design
Setting: Bezel settings offer protection, while prong settings showcase the stone. Consider how the setting complements the stone's shape and your desired look.
Style: Classic bands, intricate cocktail rings, or nature-inspired designs cater to various preferences. Choose a style that reflects your personality and lifestyle.
Comfort & Fit: Ensure the ring sits comfortably on your finger without being too loose or tight. Get your finger sized professionally for an accurate fit.
the perfect silver real stone ring is a combination of personal preference, practical considerations, and budget. By carefully assessing these factors, you'll find a piece that becomes a cherished part of your collection.

How To Identify If Opal Is Real Or Fake
Tumblr media
Overview
Opal is a colourful gemstone that is sometimes referred to as the queen of gems. It is a pearl-like white gem with glossy lustre. Opal exhibits a charming interplay of vivid colours throughout its entire surface. It is an exceptional gemstone that produces stunning Birthstone Jewelry. During the month of October, opal is the birthstone. Opal, October Birthstone, looks stunning on display as an Opal Ring, Opal Bracelet, Opal Necklace, Opal Earrings or Opal Pendant.
Opal is thought to be ruled by Venus, according to astrology. The goddess of love, joy, and beauty is known as Venus. Opal rings, Opal Pendant or Opal Bracelets are a love charm due to its associations with Venus. Venus represents human desire, and those who wear it are granted all of their heart's wishes. As wearing Opal Jewelry would foster creativity, opal is known as the muse of artists. When set in 925 Sterling Silver Jewelry, the characteristics of opal will be improved. All the benefits of opal can be reaped when worn with the natural Gemstones and not a fake copy of it. You have a good probability of purchasing a synthetic gemstone given the market's high demand for this gemstone.
How to Differentiate Between Natural Opal and Synthetic Opal There are synthetic copies of the stunning Opal Jewelry on the market, but they lack the power of the genuine gemstones. Fake opals made of synthetic materials, glass, and plastic are also common. The appearance of the synthetic gemstones can be used to identify them since they might have a columnar structure or lizard skin-like surface texture. Knowing how to distinguish between natural and synthetic opals will help you avoid buying Opal Jewelry made of synthetic opal. The natural Wholesale Gemstone Jewelry holds magic within which isn't the case for the synthetic gemstones.
Opals made in laboratories might be hard to spot. It is simpler to spot those composed of plastic, resin, or glass. Glass opals are made in a variety of colours that are intended to resemble natural opals physically. The false glass opals often fall into one of two categories: opalescent glass, which has a sheen-like gloss that, to the untrained eye, may resemble real opal, and slocum stone, which is a silicate form of glass. A form of man-made material called opalite, which has an opalescence effect, is occasionally used to make false opals. It is essential for you to purchase your Wholesale Gemstone Jewelry from a reputable supplier because the majority of Opal Jewelry items on the market are made with these fake Gemstones.
When the triplets or doublets are submerged in water for an extended period of time, the glue holding the layers together deteriorates, allowing water to seep through. 5% of natural opals are discovered in Mexico, the Western United States, and Honduras, while 95% are found in Australia. Pricing is another technique to tell the difference between real and fake opal. This means that even though the stone is reasonably priced, it isn't seen as a particularly inexpensive purchase. Opal is priced in the middle of the range. This implies that even while Opal Jewelry items are reasonably priced, they aren't regarded as a particularly cheap purchase.
Examining its surface against light is another approach to confirm its legitimacy. When examined, you can tell if your gemstone is real or fake because the replica frequently has bubbles. The interaction of hues highlights the brilliant brilliance of Opal Jewelry. Viewing your Wholesale Gemstone Jewelry under a bright white light is a fantastic technique to ensure its authenticity. The gem is most likely real if its surface displays an idyllic kaleidoscope of colours. If you examine your gemstone in bright light and detect neat, nearly symmetrical patterns, it may not be genuine.
You could see a perfectly straight line encircling the fake gemstones when seen from the sides. At the end of the day, only a qualified expert is capable of accurately inspecting an opal. If your stone is real or fake, the expert will be able to tell you for sure. As a result, we strongly advise that you have your Wholesale Gemstone Jewelry examined by an expert if you are unsure about the opal's genuineness.

Silver is a durable metal, but it does tarnish over time. However, no matter how careful you are, there will still be times when you have to clean your silver rings. How to clean silver rings?
Well, you can use a few different methods. However, I am going to tell you about the one that is most popular: baking soda. Let’s know a few more ways. So, keep continuing.
Does Original Silver Turn Black?
Yes, real silver will turn black over time. It’s not a bad thing, though! It’s called patina, which means the silver is aging from air exposure. If you’ve seen a silver watch or ring, you’ll notice that the silver will have darkened over time. Though usually not to the extent of what you’ll find on your rings.
The problem with patina is that if your ring has really dark black areas, you should consider replacing it. There’s no guarantee that the silver will be free of tarnish at these levels. So, if you wear your ring, it could start acting like a magnet for other dirt particles and oils.
How To Clean Silver Rings At Home?
If your rings have become tarnished, you’ll want to clean them. If you know how to clean silver rings, you can clean them at home. For each method below, only rub the stain in one direction. Rubbing in a circular motion will create a scratch on your ring that could expose the metal underneath and make it easier for the stain to return.
Method-1: Use Soapy Water
Using a clean cotton cloth and warm water, soak the ring in a bowl of soapy water for 15 minutes or so. You can rub your ring with the same cloth under running water to remove any excess soap.
Method-2: Try Baking Soda
Baking soda removes stains from clothes and other items. If you still need to find what you’re looking for here. Take a cup of water, mix in ¼ cup of baking soda, and stir until it’s dissolved.
Then take your silver ring with any stones. Such as diamonds or opals, out of their settings and submerge them in the solution for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes have elapsed, remove them from the solution and place them back into their settings if they come off quickly.
Otherwise, put them back into the solution for another 5-10 minutes. After cleaning the silver ring and setting it back in its settings, please wash your hands with soap and water to avoid contaminating them. The next time you want to clean your rings, repeat the process above.
Method-3: Use Vinegar and Baking Soda
Another fantastic ring cleaner can be made using Vinegar and baking soda. Combine a simple solution of about one part vinegar to one part baking soda, then dip a cotton ball or cloth in the mixture and use it to rub away dirt from your ring. Rinse it with water, then dry your ring with a clean cloth. This method helps remove black stains as well as other types of dirt that are common on jewelry.
Method-4: Try Only Baking Soda
Baking soda is excellent for removing stains from clothing, but it’s equally effective when cleaning jewelry. It’s also a fantastic cleaning solution for white gold, silver, and all other parts of your ring, including the band and diamonds. Just rub the baking soda into your ring with your fingers or a clean cloth until it cleans, then rinses off the residue.
Many people wonder if it’s okay to clean silver rings in the dishwasher. You absolutely can, but you must ensure they are not set on silver utensils or white gold-only settings. If your rings are on a regular wash cycle, they will be fine. Just remember to leave your dishwasher with only a few items and ensure that the ring is dry before putting it back in your jewelry box.
Method-5: Clean with Toothpaste
Toothpaste is another good choice for cleaning jewelry. Rubbing toothpaste on your ring will remove dirt and debris stuck to it, but it can also help get rid of the tarnish.
Just squirt a small amount of toothpaste onto a cotton ball and rub your ring until you notice the tarnish coming off of it. However, be careful not to rub too hard, as you could injure your finger or scratch through the silver.
Method-6: Use Cleaning Cloth For Silver
Silver cleaning cloths are one of many ways to get rid of tarnishes. Silver cleaning cloths are made from silver metal and have a special treatment on them to help clean your jewelry.
Many types of silver cleaning cloths, from essential to specialty products, may help keep your jewelry shiny and new. You should look for these products at beauty stores, especially if you wear a lot of jewelry.
Method-7: Mix Lemon and Olive Oil
The lemon is a great tool to remove dirt and stains from your silver jewelry. All you need is a little olive oil to help the stain and dirt come off easier. Get one or two clean cotton balls, then dip them in the lemon juice.
Be careful here, as it can leave a mark if too much liquid is on your ring! Then dab your ring with both cotton balls and rub them into the ring until you see the dirt come off of it. Rinse it away with water, then dry it with a clean cloth.
Method-8: Try Commercial Cleaner
There are many companies out there that offer a jewelry cleaning kit. It’s essential to read the label and ensure it complies with your ring’s care. If you can’t find anything that specifically says your ring is safe.
Then you should always follow the directions on this page. As they’re going to be more specific on how to clean your ring and won’t risk damaging it in any way.
Tips: How to Prevent Silver from Tarnishing?
There are a few things that you can do to help prevent your silver from tarnishing. With knowing how to clean silver rings, you should also know about how to prevent it.
Only wear your ring while you’re doing hard work. Many people with silver rings will remove them when washing the dishes, gardening, or working in the yard.
Keep your cleaning tools in a particular area of your house or room so you don’t forget to use them on each wash cycle.
Using water and glass cleaner as an alternative to soaps is also great for keeping stains away from rings.
Don’t put your ring near a hot item, especially your microwave.
Avoid putting your silver ring in contact with a lot of moisture, especially water or any substances that could leave residue on it.
Although there are many different ways to clean silver jewelry, the process for cleaning is almost always the same.
Once you have cleaned and polished them, you should store them in a place that protects them from moisture, dust, and scratches.
A tarnished silver piece will show signs of its age and diminish its beauty and value.
Final Words
Please be careful with your silver jewelry and make sure that you keep it in perfect condition. The lessons from this article will help you and make your cleaning procedures easier to understand. Day 316: Saturday November 12, 2022 - “Community Gardens”
Getting the chance to watch the Spartans and WealthTrack and being a part of Jane and Dave’s life here in the desert this month has been a real treat, and needing to get out of the house on this warm Saturday afternoon when we were in such a good mood for that MSU Victory, felt like a great idea.  So I got the tour around Green Valley and got to see their community garden which was way far and beyond anything that I imagined.  This was absolutely the coolest garden park Ive ever seen.  Complete with all the park vibes, art studio, and community space that makes this area, and its eclectic group of inhabitants unique. And the Master Gardner and Gratiot County Farmer’s Daughter have the best lot in the place where we worked to cover the snap peas and water all the greens, and shoo away the grasshoppers that have taken a liking to the Kale chips.   It was the best part of the day.  Such an impressive little dent in the universe here at the Park, especially considering the surrounding desert.  They are really a part of something special, allowing them to garden year round!
Song: Calum Scott - Dancing On My Own
Quote: “Ol' man Simon, planted a diamond. Grew hisself a garden the likes of none. Sprouts all growin' comin' up glowin' Fruit of jewels all shinin' in the sun. Colors of the rainbow. See the sun and the rain grow sapphires and rubies on ivory vines, Grapes of jade, just ripenin' in the shade, just ready for the squeezin' into green jade wine. Pure gold corn there, Blowin' in the warm air. Ol' crow nibblin' on the amnythyst seeds. In between the diamonds, Ol' man Simon crawls about pullin' out platinum weeds. Pink pearl berries, all you can carry, put 'em in a bushel and haul 'em into town. Up in the tree there's opal nuts and gold pears- Hurry quick, grab a stick and shake some down. Take a silver tater, emerald tomater, fresh plump coral melons. Hangin' in reach. Ol' man Simon, diggin' in his diamonds, stops and rests and dreams about one... real... peach.” ― Shel Silverstein

Blood. Where it comes from. Where it goes. Who gets it. Why it's important. What it does. Anything about blood.
time for another round of 'i have so many of these already', blood prompts collected (most of them), here u go:
A siren lived on the mountain. I saw her on a morning hike once, pruning her feathers, mouth caked in blood.
She always blamed the night shift. For her bloodshot eyes. The feathers on her floor. The scars that ran like fault lines across her back.
Death took his most bloodthirsty soldier out of commission. He placed him on earth, wiped of all memories, for rehabilitation.
It felt wrong to call them vampires. They were dumb and fragile looking, their wings paper thin and delicate. They would drink blood from any living thing.
Something was killing nixies. I found one covered in duckweed and blue blood, and took it home to recover in my bathtub.
My blood heals anything and everything it touches. But with every drop, my heart grows colder, and no one knows what I’ll become when it runs out.
Blood Wine didn’t have anything to do with real blood. Well, not technically.
No one knew what would happen if you ate a blood berry, red and swollen. No one was brave enough to find out.
I was born with silver blood. No one knew what kind of creature that made me.
“Darken your lips with the blood of a loved one. This will allow you to enter the Court.”
Monster blood was great for human illness. The hospital did a roaring and very illegal trade in the basement.
The unicorns were made of stone, loud and unforgiving, stained with the blood of misfortune and sacrifice alike.
I met a half ghost on the midnight bus. An errand boy for death, he was shotgunning energy drinks, and cleaning blood out of his nails.
My family has magic in its veins. Plants watered with our blood come to cure any illness.
The well was full of blood. “That can’t be good,” said Uncle.
Spill a single drop of blood in the forest, and the tree roots will tear you to shreds, twisting and tangling as they scramble for their piece.
Rain Bringers slept a lot, when they weren’t harvesting clouds. Their eyes held no color, and their blood was barely red, so thin rumor said you could drink it and escape a thirsty death.
Our fight was already bloody, the scent of death heavy on the air as we fell into the freezing river together. Everything changed that day, under the ice.
We have six moons. To one, we offer opals, another, pearls. Three of them want nothing in particular, and the last asks for blood.
The potion is midnight blue, a consistency I know well. “Whose blood did you use?” I ask, as my throat grows uncomfortably hot.
Wherever my blood spills, a delicate black flower grows at once. I always eat it, which annoys mother, who would like to see them dried and pressed.
Blood Bags are stains upon the earth, rank and starving by nature, okay to exorcise on sight. But this one has a baby with it. A human one.
An alchemist comes to take my blood once a month. Red dye stains her hair, her tongue, red thread sewn into the lines of her face and hands.
A drop of my blood sizzles on the gold, until the smoke clears and reveals plain iron. “I am here to train,” I say, putting the knife away, “as an alchemist.”
The House of Red Glass sits behind a towering gate. They say your reflection talks to you in there, all distorted by the strange blood colored walls.
“If I’m the vampire, how come you’re the one always taking my blood?” I ask, a sad and desperate attempt to flirt with the medic.
The city has veins, strange red cords that run deep underground and pulse with ichorous blood. Something is drinking from them, and it is my unfortunate job to find out what.
His bathtub was covered in blood and feathers.
When I went to receive the results of my blood test, they told me they were classified.

A Piece Of Your Sun
Tumblr media
“You don’t have to ignore your doubts, love. It’s ok to say it hurts.”
OR: i wrote this to handle my feelings about my mom’s possible cancer relapse.
talks of illness and hospital visits 1.3k
*gif is not mine. all credits to OP*
You stood in the kitchen. Your eyes drawn down, focused on the swirling milk and coffee contained in a ceramic mug. A mug still too hot to the touch as the spoon clinked against the sides of the pottery.
Hoseok moves around you, pressing his lips against your cheek. His touch is gentle, caressing your bare arm.
“It’s raining back home.” You place the silver spoon into the sink, cupping the mug with sweater paws. Your gaze lingering on the windows overlooking the city.
“Really?”
You nod, sipping the hot beverage, hoping it won’t sear your tongue. “My mom told me it’s been raining a lot. She’s worried the basement will flood because she needs one more thing to expel her energy on.”
Your heavy gaze is interrupted by Hoseok’s coaxing. Your eyes meet his own, and you wonder why you looked out the window when greater comfort would’ve bloomed admiring him.
Your fingertips brush his cheek. His lips falling to meet your forehead.
“How is she doing? I heard you on the phone pretty early.”
You swallow another mouthful of coffee, indulging in the energy of its caffeine. “She keeps her trials quiet, but I’ve never felt more weightless. Distance is a hell of an enemy.”
Your boyfriend is quiet for a moment, keeping his eyes on yours before your shoulders lift to only fall with greater heaviness, completely spent. You weren’t doing anything physically taxing, but the exhaustion radiates through you.
“Do you want to see her? I’ll book you a flight right now if that’s what you need.”
Tears storm your eyes in the speed of a rushed inhale. The breakdown has been building for days at this point. The heaviness crossed oceans and miles. The pain could be ignored by some, but it left you feeling worse, feeling helpless.
“Oh sweetheart, just tell me what you need.” The lighthearted tone in Hoseok’s voice is absent this morning, solidifying the situation you hoped to never endure again.
You would need him with you, and that was an impossible request to make. His schedule would make anyone dizzy, but you were used to the writing that filled your planner. Purple ink displaying your boyfriend’s life in great detail. Your own life, written in blue, appeared small in comparison.
No matter how hard you squinted, there wasn’t room for the silent desire to have him with you. But, you knew it wasn’t completely silent.
Hoseok could see it. He felt it in the heaviness you carried around your shared home. It was hidden between the words you would speak instead.
“If I say what I need, I’ll have to stop pretending my desired outcome is possible.”
Your voice breaks, and the mug would’ve crashed to the floor if Hoseok hadn’t taken it from your grasp. The swift motion leaves coffee spilling over the rim, creating a ring around its base on the granite.
“I need my mom to be ok again. I want nights of uninterrupted sleep. I need my phone to ring without my heart skipping a beat. And I want..”
You close your eyes, brushing away the falling tears. Droplets collect on your thumb before the wetness seeps into the knit of your sweater.
“It’s ok. You can say it.” Hoseok’s eyes hold a softness: a love for you so honest.
A smile flashes despite the sadness. Maybe if you smile hard enough the sun will shine again, and the basement won’t flood. A foundation won’t go vulnerable.
“If I go— when I go, I’ll be on my own.” Hoseok nods, tracing circles into the skin around your hip. His touch warm, always so warm.
“Can I handle it on my own?”
When Hoseok is close by, you know he has you. There’s no questioning the man you love will be there. His love is tangible, and Hoseok’s embrace heals wounds before they scar.
Years ago, all you had was the comfort you could give yourself when hospital visits engulfed your own routine. Visits written into your schedule with bright colors, but the pen’s impact fell short every time.
It was more than Hoseok not being there. That didn’t hurt as badly as facing the feeling of déjà vu without an embrace to fall into.
That question. The question that flies around the room with your doubts and fears: will i be ok? is never contemplated on an off day with Hoseok near. On nights that end with gentle steps, carrying an exhausted you to your bedroom, there’s a knowing. A knowing with a name, and a presence unlike any other.
Hoseok’s presence won’t be in the sterile rooms, and that’s simply a reality you cannot outrun.
“No, I’ll be ok. It’s not a question. It simply cannot be a question.”
Hoseok takes your hand, leading you out of the kitchen and into the living room. He takes a seat, and brings you to settle into the space that’s only ever made for you.
Your head rests against his chest, just below his clavicle. His touch is felt caressing your shoulder. Your own fingers trace the logo on his sweatshirt. Your breathing reaches an evenness as you focus on his heart beating.
“You don’t have to ignore your doubts, love. It’s ok to say it hurts.”
“It hurts.”
“And it’s ok to say you’re scared.”
“I’m terrified.”
“You can say it again if it makes you feel better.” He kisses your forehead, lingering for you, and him.
“Once is enough.”
Once makes it real to you and to Hoseok. You’re scared out loud, without hiding behind light banter or distracting conversations.
Once lets him know you need him, and he’s more than ok with that.
“I bought you this. I’ve had it for a few days, but I wanted to share it with you in the right moment.”
Hoseok lifts his hips, digging into his pocket. He pulls out a small, gift box, handing it to you.
Inside is a silver locket, connected to a delicate chain.
It’s beautiful, holding an opal stone in its center. Inside, is an engraving: breathe for the sunrise.
They’re the words your mother always shares with you when the world feels small. When your place feels insignificant, serving as a reminder to hold on and have faith in what is to come. Life doesn’t have to be a real world fantasy to witness a stunning sunrise.
“Are you this sunrise?”
You smile, looking up at your boyfriend. His expression bashful, taking the necklace from your hands to clasp the jewelry around your neck.
He hums, “distance doesn’t keep the sun from following you. I don’t know what will happen, love, but I want you to breathe through it anyway. Even if they’re shallow inhales that take every ounce of strength you have.”
“Breathe for the sunrise.” Your eyes close, swimming in the words, recalling the comfort they always enkindled from your mother’s voice.
Breathe for what you have right beside you. Breathe for the woman who raised you with love she built and supplied all on her own. Breathe for the sacrifices made when rain poured and flooded your foundation. Breathe for the sunrise of tomorrow and the sunrise a year from now, after a week of gloom. You can do that. You know you want to do that. You know, that no matter what happens, your mother won’t accept anything less.
“Thank you, I love you.” Five words that hold all your gratitude for the man that brings you peace.
The necklace falls to rest against your sternum. You lift the jewelry between your fingers, before clutching the pendant against your palm.
“I love you, too.”
You do not need his embrace to feel his presence after all, and now, it will always be close to your heart. Sometimes a beat of life, but always as a necklace, holding a piece of your sun.

I have a lot of ideas boggling around in my head for stories involving original characters that I just haven’t bothered writing because nobody really cares about oc content unless it’s character x reader in which they can insert their oc.
But I’m just gonna dump this idea here to get it out of my head, its a bit witcher inspired in the sense that magical creatures are know but theyre at odds with the world of man due to the belief they cause blight and dismay, and it’s based in real world folklore and events too. My working title for it is Tumeric & the Weaver Hound and it’s a romance between a knight and a blind half elf named hound.
Hound was the result of an affair between a silk Weavers wife and a starlight elf who’re more closely related to a djinn than the faerie like elves.
His mother wasn’t a bad person, at least not at first, but she wasn’t a good one either. She married for money but it soon became apparent her husband was more focused on his trade and earning coin than he was with serving her every beck and call, and his frugal nature certainly didn’t sit right with her want for luxuries. And it was safe to say their marital bed saw little action beyond the frequent tossing and turning she’d do in an attempt to sleep through his snoring.
She’d soon start lamenting and complaining rather loudly to her friends in the market place about how miserable she was, how she was longing for a better man to just come and take her away even for a night to show her what she was missing out on, all the while blissfully unaware of an elf disguised as a man, all too eager to grant her her wish.
A wish that soon after leaves her pregnant. She tries to hide it at first, but soon lies to her husband that it was the result of one of their few nights of short lived relief. A lie she manages to keep up until hound is born that is. Pale, opal like ethereal skin, silver hair, pointy ears. Very much not human.
Her husband is obviously furious, but rather than admit wrong doing she doubles down saying that hound isn’t hers and is instead a changeling child, the arguing continues and with the threat of being divorced and left to fend for herself she grabs hound and holds him close to the fireplace to ‘scare’ the changelings true form out of him. (yes this is sadly a very real thing people used to do) And hound being only a baby is so fragile he’s left burned and blind.
A scuffle ensues, hounds father manages to get him free from her grasp without further hurting him and throws her out to the street calling the town guards on her while he’s at it.
He takes pity on the baby and decides to raise him as his own figuring he’d be of some use to him when he’s older, but being a magical creature he’d have to take care to keep him somewhat hidden. He names him hound because while he can’t see he developed a knack for sniffing out his bottle whenever it’d come close to feeding time, a skill that’d do him good in the future too.
As he got older his father tried teaching him how read and write to no success hoping he’d at least be able to do the books for his silk business. But he soon found his nimble fingers were very good for spinning thread, and he could tell which colours were which by the smells of the dye used for each silk. It wasn’t long before his father got the idea to try teaching him how to weave on a loom, he was skeptical at first but with his nose to guide where each thread was and maybe a bit of hidden magic, he soon learned how to make intricately designed cloths his father would sell as is or tailor to a customers wants.
Their two main customer bases of course being Nobles, and most importantly for our story, Knights. One of which has a tunic of whites, golds and yellows.
I haven’t got a name for him yet but I do know he’s the champion and personal bodyguard to the king, undefeated in the joust and contest between other knights of his court, and often the one sent out to do his bidding, usually collecting ‘taxes’ from problematic merchants or houses, but most importantly, investing possible sightings of magic folk when illness, plague, or blight rears its head.
Long story short, he ends up going to the silk weavers home on rumours that a magical creature hiding there had laid illness on the city, but upon searching the place despite his protests he finds hound hidden away in a small room weaving.
Hound immediately smells the tumeric used to colour the silk his clothes are comprised of and thinks he’s here to get fitted for his order like he’s done so many times before so not knowing he’s literally standing right in front of him he fumbles around looking for the fabric he made only to fall right into the knights arms and then fly into a panic and end up hurting himself because he had no clue there was another person in the room.
Anyway, might not make anything from this. Literally just an idea that won’t shut up in my brain that I thought y’all might like, honestly the idea came up because I harvested and processed my turmeric on Friday and my hands are still yellow ~Bambi
