Really wish the average video game player could have more than a smidge of knowledge on how most games are made by teams of individuals working together to make a duct-taped ship move, and not 'That One Guy single-handedly did all of that one component'
#my niche ranting which i have to keep a lid on#it's partly the fault of the game dev industry too bc of how secretive companies are with processes and knowledge it SUCKS#but we're so used to attributing the work of hundreds/thousands to a few representative individuals in entertainment media#i do not like it
