it isn't thinking anything, really. it's just- moving. quickly. no it's not breathing frantically that's just how its chest works. no its hands aren't trembling they just happen to feel a bit chilly today. if they pick on the (now thoroughly blood-soaked) bandages on their arms, well, that's their business!! it doesn't mean they're scared. they're perfectly calm. look at them!!! they're smiling!!!!! they're having a Delightful time!!!!!!!!

yea so um. hello everybody!!!!! looong time no see. im alive and very sorry for the radio silence this past half of a year. i Really didnt think my hiatus would last that long but then bad stuff just kept happening again and again and again n all of it was really difficult to process/start coping with. honestly im still not in the best shape (both physically & mentally) to this day.. but i thought that i might as well come back online, even if i end up posting little-to-no art

One day, Gjör and her peers were lead by their mentor Opheria, to a mission far from their home. On the peak of that mountain village, they saw upon the horizon, the castle of their home go up in flames. Horrified and scared, the apprentices sought to follow their mentors guidance, and followed her lead into a small barn. It was there, that Opheria proceeded to slaughter each and everyone of the apprentices. It seemed she somehow had a hand in this sudden attack on the Order of Palms. Gjör D'annevual survived a sword through the 'heart', on account of a rare condition, that places her heart on the other side of her chest. When she finally managed to bring herself back home, the Order was insulted by her survival. She had so many better peers, why couldn't any of them have survived? This runt was seriously the only thing that survived Opherias wrath? It was better to just wash their hands clean of this. Thus the Order decided to banish Gjör from their ranks. She now travels the land in search of a purpose.

i just feel like if youve been in a fight to the death against someone for a long time and youre still fighting and they say "hey, ill let you choose my weapon for the next while. should i use a blunderbuss or an assault rifle?" you dont not say anything, you say "blunderbuss" and then keep fighting. because it only took a second and makes their offense against you just the slightest bit weaker. right? and you certainly dont say "letting me choose your weapon doesnt actually make you stop fighting me, so i refuse to participate!" or "why would i answer when i could be fighting you instead (which im already doing)!" you just take whatever advantage you can get and keep fighting. its not about moral high ground or whatever, its about making the fight a little less deadly. and if somebody tells you that youre empowering your enemy by deigning to respond to their little rules, tell them "no, dumbass, i would be empowering them if i let them grab the assault rifle. if they have these little rules, then i may as well take advantage of them." anyway this post is about voting

gonna be fr i don’t think “traditionally/stereotypically feminine” interests should be dunked on at all but also this is exactly the kind of thing that makes me feel insecure about ever having daughters (as someone who wants kids in the next ~6 years). idk why there is this expectation that if you don’t wear makeup/heels/nail polish/do skincare/etc you’re misogynistic and can’t bond with your daughters lol

Orchid Mantis Cookie lives in and rules a kingdom found inside of a large, hollow tree. The Mantis Kingdom is not very welcoming to new people. They are barely welcoming to each other. Despite this, they live in mild harmony under the guide of Orchid Mantis.

Orchid mantises are rare, and their mantis forms help protect the kingdom by using their flower mimicry as defense and food collection. This, along with the fact that he is as big as a female mantis, is why he is the ruler.

Mimi-Cry is a lump of clay that... well, it hates itself. It molds itself to mimic other things but can never keep the form up for long. Mimic-Cry feels attracted to Orchid Mantis because of this, since they both pretend to be things they are not. Mimi-Cry's favorite thing to mimic is flowers, like Orchid Mantis.

At first, Orchid did not like Mimic-Cry, but eventually, as it kept changing into different things to get him to love it back, he grew very fond and protective of the sentient clay lump. Mimic-Cry is now not allowed to leave his side, out of fear it could get hurt.

probably gonna move lill judd and marie to testing bc i love them but im not super confident w them?? but i think id be ok testing octavio, cuttlefish, big man, spyke, annie, and moe too.... maybe fred crumbs also. idk i usually cant handle big multimuses but splatoon characters are just all so unique that i feel like i can separate them in my head enough and not get em all mixed around?? so after i catch up on anything i missed here while i was away ill probly work on a testing muse page/section

also might have to make some sort of note on jelonzos page that he might be canon divergent in his splat3 verse. i dedicated myself to writing him way before the inkopolis dlc dropped and i love his splat1 dialogue too much + its what ive been using and urgh i know he still says body cloth and some other quirky things AND IM SO HAPPY FOR HIM AND PROUD OF HIM i just dk if i can get his voice/tone right for his splat3 dialogue so hmm like ill try but hes probly gonna be a little off. gonna try to settle for a happy medium i think...
