Soft Spot
Tumblr media
Victor Zsasz × GN!Reader Drabbles
No one expected the rare pair of Victor and Y/n. You two were seemingly complete opposites. You were practically a pacifist, and well, Victor was an assassin. In fact, you didn't know how the two of you worked so well. Victor was violent, but never towards you. Victor never threatened you. He seemed to have an odd soft spot for you. You were like a boss to him. If you said jump, Victor would ask how high. He would follow you anywhere.
In fact, he did. There wasn't a moment in your day when Victor wasn't being constantly updated on your whereabouts. After all, he couldn't have anyone taking his boss from him. You knew he sent men after you... in fact, you could spot them out in a crowd. They weren't exactly the most normal looking crew. But you never told him. If it gave Victor peace of mind, you would let him carve his initials into you so that everyone knew you were his. (You were thankful he hadn't proposed that idea yet.)
Being was Victor was also stressful for you. Not only did you constantly have people coming after you, (you had lost count of how many attempted kidnappings you had been victim of when he and you had first started dating) but you also constantly worried that each day would be Victor's last. Its not that you doubted his strength and ability, its that you overestimated the other people in Gotham. Anytime he was even a minute late home from work, you were spamming his phone with text after text. He usually replied after a minute, but sometimes he would get caught up in a job, and you would he left for 10 minutes wondering if he was dying somewhere in an alley.
One of Victor's favorite bonding moments was having you fix him up. Whether it was a nick in his arm, or a whole stab wound, he would always come up to you. He had an amazingly high pain tolerance, but he had a tendency to play up the pain for sympathy points.
"Y/N! Be careful please... it hurts really bad." Victor pouted, tenderly peeling his bloodstained shirt off and sitting on the edge of your shared bed. You always had a problem with gawking at him when he was shirtless. I mean, who wouldn't. He was totally ripped.
"I know, Vic... but if I don't clean it out it'll get infected. And then it'll hurt like a bitch." You hummed, using the cloth that you had soaked in a mixture of water and alcohol to dab at the stab wound near his abdomen. You were sat between his legs, on your knees so that you were at eye level with his wound.
"Ooh, I'm having a bad influence on you, aren't I, Y/n? I don't think I've even heard you swear so casually before." He smirked, messing up your hair. You looked up at him, glaring a bit before gently swatting his hand away.
"Just let me clean you up, dumbass. Try not to get any blood on our sheets. Those were expensive." You huffed, wiping the blood off of him and fumbling around for some gauze and wound wrap. You applied the wrappings and stood up, taking the bloody water and rag into the bathroom to clean out. Once you were done, you walked back over to Victor, standing in front of him, observing him as he fiddled with his bandages. You slapped his hand away, making a tsk noise.
"Stop messing with them, stupid." You grumbled, grabbing his hand and intertwining your fingers when he reached to mess with the bandages again.
Victor smirked, bringing your hand up to his mouth and kissing the top of it. "Of course, I know. Now stop with the nagging will ya?" He chuckled, and you followed with a chuckle of your own. Victor pulled you closer to him and you soon found urself plopped down on his lap, and he had his arm wrapped around your waist.
"You know... I might get hurt more often if it means I get to have you patch me up." He smirked, planting a kiss on your forehead.
"Don't you fucking dare."

2 Nephi Chapter 29. "The Piercing Knife."
Tumblr media
Many Gentiles will reject the Book of Mormon—They will say, We need no more Bible—The Lord speaks to many nations—He will judge the world out of the books which will be written. About 559–545 B.C.
The Prophet justifies this Midrash, "investigation" claiming it was written by and for Jews to search out the reasons Christianity and the Bible have caused so much misery and harm.
Jews have always believed in constant illumination of mankind using contemporary analysis of how effective mankind is at obeying the Stipulations.
In this case we want to clarify how God said a nation should foster its people in the Tanakh, in order to re-establish as 2 Nephi says "A standard unto my people, the House of Israel":
1 But behold, there shall be many—at that day when I shall proceed to do a marvelous work among them, that I may remember my covenants which I have made unto the children of men, that I may set my hand again the second time to recover my people, which are of the house of Israel;
2 And also, that I may remember the promises which I have made unto thee, Nephi, and also unto thy father, that I would remember your seed; and that the words of your seed should proceed forth out of my mouth unto your seed; and my words shall hiss forth unto the ends of the earth, for a standard unto my people, which are of the house of Israel;
3 And because my words shall hiss forth—many of the Gentiles shall say: A Bible! A Bible! We have got a Bible, and there cannot be any more Bible.
4 But thus saith the Lord God: O fools, they shall have a Bible; and it shall proceed forth from the Jews, mine ancient covenant people. And what thank they the Jews for the Bible which they receive from them? Yea, what do the Gentiles mean? Do they remember the travails, and the labors, and the pains of the Jews, and their diligence unto me, in bringing forth salvation unto the Gentiles?
5 O ye Gentiles, have ye remembered the Jews, mine ancient covenant people? Nay; but ye have cursed them, and have hated them, and have not sought to recover them. But behold, I will return all these things upon your own heads; for I the Lord have not forgotten my people.
6 Thou fool, that shall say: A Bible, we have got a Bible, and we need no more Bible. Have ye obtained a Bible save it were by the Jews?
7 Know ye not that there are more nations than one? Know ye not that I, the Lord your God, have created all men, and that I remember those who are upon the isles of the sea; and that I rule in the heavens above and in the earth beneath; and I bring forth my dword unto the children of men, yea, even upon all the nations of the earth?
8 Wherefore murmur ye, because that ye shall receive more of my word? Know ye not that the testimony of two nations is a witness unto you that I am God, that I remember one nation like unto another? Wherefore, I speak the same words unto one nation like unto another. And when the two nations shall run together the testimony of the two nations shall run together also.
9 And I do this that I may prove unto many that I am the same yesterday, today, and forever; and that I speak forth my words according to mine own pleasure. And because that I have spoken one word ye need not suppose that I cannot speak another; for my work is not yet finished; neither shall it be until the end of man, neither from that time henceforth and forever.
10 Wherefore, because that ye have a Bible ye need not suppose that it contains all my words; neither need ye suppose that I have not caused more to be written.
11 For I command aall men, both in the east and in the west, and in the north, and in the south, and in the islands of the sea, that they shall bwrite the words which I speak unto them; for out of the cbooks which shall be written I will djudge the world, every man according to their works, according to that which is written.
12 For behold, I shall speak unto the Jews and they shall write it; and I shall also speak unto the Nephites and they shall write it; and I shall also speak unto the other tribes of the house of Israel, which I have led away, and they shall write it; and I shall also speak unto dall nations of the earth and they shall write it.
13 And it shall come to pass that the aJews shall have the words of the Nephites, and the Nephites shall have the words of the Jews; and the Nephites and the Jews shall have the words of the blost tribes of Israel; and the lost tribes of Israel shall have the words of the Nephites and the Jews.
14 And it shall come to pass that my people, which are of the house of Israel, shall be gathered home unto the lands of their possessions; and my word also shall be gathered in one. And I will show unto them that fight against my word and against my people, who are of the house of Israel, that I am God, and that I covenanted with Abraham that I would remember his seed forever.
Gematria for the 12 Tribes and the 70 Clans confirm the ways the Tribes of Israel will be instrumental in the making of this Midrash:
12= Gad Abeb= to Make fresh by cutting. By removing all delusions about how life works using the Noble Skills, life is retted from all the mistakes of the past.
70= I GOD DECLARE:
"The Hidden King, Mikal, Who is Like God, will be kind, organize the people act as a knife and a nail, and end Bible Babble using Hindi.
He will climb and reach the Eye of the Fountain of Cologne on high, where the Great God, "that Waters the Earth and makes it green" resides.
He will restart the Line of the Kings of Israel and make nobles of its people."
Knives are used to pierce the darkness, make just a tiny mark as in the preparation of the Challah for Shabbat and let the light in through the darkness.
Nails and hammers are interdependent. Without hammers, nails are useless. Without nails, hammers are incapable of building. The new King will be a knife and a nail and chase the darkness within the Bible that has caused so many to question the benevolence of God, the same mission undertaken by the authors of the Book of Mormon.

"The Mighty Ruler." Ether Chapter 4, From the Book of Mormon.
Continuing our search for the definitions of the 24 Plates and clues as to how to write the 16th Book, here is Ether 4.
Ether, the "watcher" is first mentioned in the Book of Joshua, 15:42 (550 BCE) along with eight other names. The fact Ether is mentioned in Joshua, the Successor is of interest to me:
15:42 Libnah, Ether, Ashan, 43 Iphtah, Ashnah, Nezib, 44 Keilah, Akzib and Mareshah—nine towns and their villages.
Let's see if there is a hint here as to where the 16th Book can be found.
Libnah= Purity
Ether= Eth= the time er= to awaken.
Ashan= smoke
Iphtah= the first meal after a fast
Ashnah= Ash= unhappiness, nah= please no!
Nezib= standing place
Keilah= Keil= origin ah= the brother
Akzib= to lie, to be still
Mareshah=Summit, That Which Is At The Head, Possession Taker
"Purity will awaken the first new thoughts after a period of unhappiness from standing still. The Brother of Stillness is the one who will take the Summit and possess it."
So hidden in origins of the name Ether, from Hebrew in the Old Testament we find another hint we are on the right track with finding a successor to the Toad and a new Book of Mormon.
Someone who is pure, still in their disposition will break the spiritual logjam in which humanity has found itself.
Purity always means "pure of violence, wrung free of ignorance, corruption and delusion." The names Jared and Joshua are nearly synonymous, "the descendant, the successor, the brother of the next...and are associated with the disciple, the Euphrates, the "Gusher" who sojourns and finally crosses the Jordan into Israel where the grown ups live:
Tumblr media
The call to action in the Torah, the Book of Joshua and in this Book of Mormon are all the same...
And here begins Chapter 4 of Ether, the Watcher, the Awakener:
CHAPTER 4
Moroni is commanded to seal up the writings of the brother of Jared—They will not be revealed until men have faith even as the brother of Jared—Christ commands men to believe His words and those of His disciples—Men are commanded to repent, believe the gospel, and be saved.
1 And the Lord commanded the brother of Jared to go down out of the amount from the presence of the Lord, and bwrite the things which he had seen; and they were forbidden to come unto the children of men cuntil after that he should be lifted up upon the cross; and for this cause did king Mosiah "Brother of the First" keep them, that they should not come unto the world until after Christ should show himself unto his people.
2 And after Christ truly had showed himself unto his people he commanded that they should be made manifest.
3 And now, after that, they have all dwindled in unbelief; and there is anone save it be the Lamanites [demerits], and they have rejected the gospel of Christ; therefore I am commanded that I should bhide them up again in the earth.
4 Behold, I have written upon these plates the avery things which the brother of Jared saw; and there never were bgreater things made manifest than those which were made manifest unto the brother of Jared.
Who is he? Joseph Smith did not typeset it in the Book of Mormon but it is apparently Mahonri Moriancumer=
Mah=mighty
Onri= ruler
Morian= Yah Is Awesome, Yah Is Teacher, Place Of Reverence Of Yah,Seen By Yah
Cumer= to bring
="Mighty Ruler Who Will Reveal the Teachings of God."
5 Wherefore the Lord hath commanded me to write them; and I have written them. And he commanded me that I should aseal them up; and he also hath commanded that I should seal up the interpretation thereof; wherefore I have sealed up the binterpreters, according to the commandment of the Lord.
6 For the Lord said unto me: They shall not go forth unto the Gentiles until the day that they shall repent of their iniquity, and become clean before the Lord.
7 And in that day that they shall exercise afaith in me, saith the Lord, even as the brother of Jared did, that they may become bsanctified in me, then will I cmanifest unto them the things which the brother of Jared saw, even to the unfolding unto them all my drevelations, saith Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the eFather of the heavens and of the earth, and all things that in them are.
8 And he that will contend against the word of the Lord, let him be accursed; and he that shall deny these things, let him be accursed; for unto them will I show no greater things, saith Jesus Christ; for I am he who speaketh.
9 And at my command the heavens are opened and are ashut; and at my word the bearth shall shake; and at my command the inhabitants thereof shall pass away, even so as by fire.
10 And he that believeth not my words believeth not my disciples; and if it so be that I do not speak, judge ye; for ye shall know that it is I that speaketh, at the alast day.
11 But he that abelieveth these things which I have spoken, him will I visit with the manifestations of my Spirit, and he shall bknow and bear record. For because of my Spirit he shall cknow that these things are dtrue; for it persuadeth men to do good.
12 And whatsoever thing persuadeth men to do good is of me; for agood cometh of none save it be of me. I am the same that leadeth men to all good; he that will bnot believe my words will not believe me—that I am; and he that will not believe me will not believe the Father who sent me. For behold, I am the Father, I am the clight, and the dlife, and the etruth of the world.
13 aCome unto me, O ye Gentiles, and I will show unto you the greater things, the knowledge which is hid up because of unbelief.
14 Come unto me, O ye house of Israel, and it shall be made amanifest unto you how great things the Father hath laid up for you, from the foundation of the world; and it hath not come unto you, because of unbelief.
15 Behold, when ye shall rend that veil of unbelief which doth cause you to remain in your awful state of wickedness, and hardness of heart, and blindness of mind, then shall the great and marvelous things which have been ahid up from the foundation of the world from you—yea, when ye shall bcall upon the Father in my name, with a broken heart and a contrite spirit, then shall ye know that the Father hath remembered the covenant which he made unto your fathers, O house of Israel.
16 And then shall my arevelations which I have caused to be written by my servant John be unfolded in the eyes of all the people. Remember, when ye see these things, ye shall know that the time is at hand that they shall be made manifest in very deed.
17 Therefore, awhen ye shall receive this record ye may know that the work of the Father has commenced upon all the face of the land.
18 Therefore, arepent all ye ends of the earth, and come unto me, and believe in my gospel, and be bbaptized in my name; for he that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned; and csigns shall follow them that believe in my name.
19 And blessed is he that is found afaithful unto my name at the last day, for he shall be blifted up to dwell in the kingdom prepared for him cfrom the foundation of the world. And behold it is I that hath spoken it. Amen.
-> I get the strong impression the future does not have a positive outlook, nor shall we be able to find what we are looking for in terms of new prophecies as well as meaning in the old until the foundation of the world- all of this violence, corruption, licentiousness, all that the Church says is done out of necessity- is shattered:
15. "...when ye shall rend that veil of unbelief which doth cause you to remain in your awful state of wickedness, and hardness of heart, and blindness of mind, then shall the great and marvelous things which have been ahid up from the foundation of the world from you—yea, when ye shall bcall upon the Father in my name, with a broken heart and a contrite spirit, then shall ye know that the Father hath remembered the covenant which he made unto your fathers."
So what do we do as pilgrims while the police, the witnesses, and the government do their jobs clearing the way of the remnants?
We keep reading and we keep digging.

“Love always wins.”
The beauty of this statement spans deeper than any insecurities or glass-half-empty critiques.
By zooming in, atomically, it’s saying that existence in of itself is love winning. We are all continuous bonds of nature.

Fic Title: To More Than I can be
Fandom: Boku no Hero Academia / My Hero Academia
Pairing: Gen, (Aizawa Shouta x Yamada Hizashi, that’s not the focus)
Rating: General
Warnings: N/A
Chapter Number and Title: Chapter 1 - I am here tonight
Word count: 1380
Notes: For @dadzawa-week-2020
Summary: Shouta wondered when the definition of homeroom teacher changed to temporary protector. He really wondered when temporary protector started being synonymous with Dad.It would have been bad enough if him acting as Dad was restricted to the children directly under his charge, but no, he wasn't that lucky.
Snippet:
In a flash, Shouta grabbed his capture gear and slunk through his door. The reason for the noise wasn’t too far away. In fact, she was at the top of the stairs, her hands inching along the wall and about to go down. When Shouta straightened up and sighed, though, Eri froze and turned to him with wide, terrified eyes. She swallowed hard as she began shaking, her nails digging into the wall paper.
All those signs of abuse, Shouta hated. They reminded him that despite living with him, Eri was still afraid of him. She obviously still believed that if she took a step out of line, Shouta would punish her, hard. Or lock her away.
Interesting that she was risking angering him in the middle of the night, anyway. (Shouta wouldn’t punish her if she had a good reason. Getting fresh air was a good reason. Wanting to see the sky was a good reason. Running away wasn’t. Sneaking around to hoard food wasn’t.)

A Card Splattered In Blood
Tumblr media
Edward Nygma x GN!Reader
You stared at your desk. Your coworkers had been crowding it since the moment you came in, and the moment you set your stuff down and fixed yourself your usual cup of coffee, you shoved your way through the crowd, careful not to spill the hot coffee on anyone.
Once you got closer to your desk, a horrible stench hit your senses, and you were almost gagging from how rancid it was. "Please god no..." If this is what you thought it was, certainly you were doomed.
The crowd seemed to part for you as you got closer. And then, you were left, staring in horror? No, not horror. You were quite used to this. More like embarrassment at the mess that was created.
Before you laid a heart, you assumed human, laying on a heart shaped platter, blood splattered on your desk (conveniently not touching your paperwork or computer.) Next to the platter, was a light green card, folded so that it stood upright. There were red splatters of blood on the card, and part of you couldn't tell if it was an aesthetic choice or by accident.
You picked up the card, and everyone around you seemed to be holding their breath. The front of the card read "I Can Be Stolen Or Given Away And You'll Live, But You Can't Live Without Me? What Am I?" The question mark was a perfect match for his iconic marking. You smirked to yourself the slightest bit, opening the card. You already knew the answer before you even opened it.
"A Heart."
Your coworkers were used to stunts like these. They all figured you just had a crazy stalker.
"Did you enjoy the gift I left for you?" His voice almost made you jump. You hadn't even heard him come in. Perhaps the noise of the skillet on the stove top drowned out the door creaking open. Or, more likely, he had snuck in and was being purposefully quiet. You turned down the stove, turning around to face him. The Riddler, or rather, Edward Nygma, standing directly behind you, so close that you almost ran straight into him when you turned around.
You smiled, looking up at him a bit. He was rather tall, and you had to shift your gaze upwards to make eye contact. "I loved it, Ed. But... you have to be careful. People are starting to ask questions." You hummed, leaning against him. Edward wrapped his arms around your waist, resting his head on your shoulder and planting a kiss on your cheek.
"Its okay, Y/n... let them ask. Its not like they can prove anything with a simple valentines gift..." he chuckled, that devious chuckle that told you he had another trick up his sleeve. You pulled away from him, giving him a curious look.
"Ed... what are you planning?" Ed gave you a fake pout, causing you to roll your eyes.
"How could you accuse me of anything? I'm innocent your honor!" He raised his right hand, like he was pledging, and the glimmer of something caught your attention. He smirked and extended his hand to you. In the palm of his hand were two emerald studded earrings in the shape of a question mark, the ball at the bottom of the mark being a dangling emerald jewel. "These however, might be a bit more... incriminating." You let out a bit of a squeal, immediately wrapping your arms around Edward in a tight hug, almost knocking him over.
"They're beautiful, Ed... stunning." Ed smiled, gently grabbing your chin and turning your head so that he could adorn your ears with the new jewelry. You felt the weight of them when he was done, but you didn't mind. You shook your head a bit, and the jangling sound of the earrings making you smile like a giddy child. "I love them, thank you!"
Ed smirked, placing a kiss on your lips. You leaned into the kiss as much as you possibly could, once again almost toppling Ed in the process.
"Happy Valentines day, my dear." Edward hummed, peppering kisses all over your face.

When?
When? When does it become okay to change your feelings? When does it become okay to hurt yourself to make sure you please those around you? Is it okay to say that you’re okay when everything you do hurts you in ways that you cant even begin to comprehend? When do your feelings for another person get overshadowed by expectations? Is it that those feelings aren’t strong enough? What about me? Do you not see how this affects me? That this tears me up too? You invalidate yourself by backing down from a fight that’s there but you don’t see how this could trigger something in me? I get that you want this to be done right but sometimes to get what you want you have to break some rules, sometimes to be happy you cant walk the line painted down for you. If this is how this plays out I’ve made these mistakes before and all it leads to is confusion, to anger and to built on emotions that can only expressed in the moment. If this is why we say goodbye I refuse to just sit here and take hit after hit to my emotions. If you want to walk away from this go ahead but don’t expect me to come after you. I won’t be the one to say “I told you so” I’m not the one that’s running this time.
