what about c!sam realising that c!techno remembers before c!techno realises c!sam does? would he try to convince c!techno that he's doing the right thing in this timeline ('he's not hurt, he's not in the prison, he's free to make his own choices and one of those is to be with me and that's your problem if you don't like it!'), or would he feign ignorance while subtly trying to keep him and c!dream apart - or turn the server against c!techno, to make sure he has less room to interfere?

i definitely think it'd be one of the latter options.

i can see c!sam trying to influence c!dream away from c!techno because well. techno isn't a good person. there was a reason that sam wanted to lock him up. he was a danger then and if he also has his memories, he's still a danger, isn't he?

even more so if he's trying to get dream 'on his side'. that's a dangerous combination and it has to be stopped. it's not something that sam could allow if he wants to keep the peace.

maybe he needs some help.

maybe he needs someone else to remember who will understand.

it's actually funny that the only people on the server that c!techno held a grudge to or any real ill-will towards was c!sam and c!quackity. at the red banquet, techno was literally like 'look i don't want to be workin' with this guy but the mind control evil egg is actually a bigger threat rn' and when the revengers were leaving sam in prison with no food, he was just like 'cool'. man really hated capitalists and cops.

"c!sam is a cop" resonates w me for personal reasons and also because i do think police brutality is one of the most apt ways to describe a lot of the shit he puts c!dream through in pandora. but ultimately i think that analogy can only be taken so far, because cops derive authority from the state and kinda the whole point of dsmp is that there is no state. this is a server of like 30 something people who are barely even talking to each other consistently and have never really been organized enough to function the way a state does. sam isn't getting his authority from the other characters, his authority is derived from himself. like oh my god of course this man was a king in another life. he sure does act like it still.

thinking about the fact we won't get to see c!techno's reaction to the scar that c!dream gave c!sam. can you imagine? he sees the man who kidnapped his best friend and disciple's child, who murdered that friend in front of him and he now carries the same scar that techno gave to c!quackity after the butcher army arrested and unjustly executed him.

that would have to feel like some kind of justice, he would have to feel some sort satisfaction. i can hear that grim laugh of his, 'i gotta say, sam, that's a good look for you.'
